It is extremely heartwarming to see 2 great lamas together. And both of them are big Shugden practitioners. Both Trijang & Gangchen Rinpoche had to go through so much because of the ban of Shugden by HH. Both had threats to their lives and were made to leave their mother monastery.

Gangchen Rinpoche's Ladrang in Sera Mey was taken away from him after the ban. And Trijang Rinpoche had to flee Gaden Shartse cause there were serious threat to kill him. However, both lamas preserver until today not to give up what their teachers has passed down to them.

I am sure, there are still difficulties for the Shugden Lamas until now. But whatever is it, Trijang Rinpoche travelling and teaching is a very good sign. This gives a lot of hope to us, the Shugden practitioners that for what we need to suffer, it is worth it.

Not only does Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche not need to receive the teachings from HHDL (TCR can always receive it from the erudite master and true holder of the pure lineage, Yongyal Rinpoche) but also, why would Trijang Rinpoche return to where his life was threatened and where DS practitioners lives continue to be under siege for keeping their faith?

Times have changed and the oppression of the CTA and Dalai Lama have caused the true Dharma to exit from their sphere of influence. Today neither Tibet nor Dharamsala are centres of the Buddha Dharma and the source of the Buddha's teachings. There are now so many authentic Tibetan Buddhist centres around the world, started by high lamas of the true Ganden tradition. To see Trijang Rinpoche with Gangchen Rinpoche as well as so many other high lamas (on this and other occasions) who are also DS practitioners say to me that the days of the ban are over. The ban's poison is spent and its only a matter of time before it is abolished voluntarily by the CTA or brought down by the people demanding justice.

Great to see Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche visit visit Albagnano Healing Meditation Center and these two great Lamas keeping a very close bond.

Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche has visited this centre when Rinpoche was younger, back in year 2000 when Rinpoche was only 18 years old, and when the first activities are about to begin at Albagnano. Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche offered a teaching, as well as conferring an Amitayus initiation, at the inauguration of the great circular gompa in Albagnano.

It was published in their magazine that Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche said,"Between Lama Gangchen and myself, there exists a profound and ancient spiritual connection, and I rejoice in the great work that he has carried out to benefit the people of the West, through both spiritual teachings and the practice of Tibetan medicine. I will always pray for the continuation and success of his activities."

Lama Gangchen then reminded those who were present at that time that Trijang Rinpoche is the reincarnation of Atisha, the great Indian master who brought Buddhism from India to Tibet at the beginning of the 11th century, at the same time saving the most precious holy texts that would soon be destroyed in India.

We are fortunate to have Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche returning again and again to benefit sentient beings and to propogate the Dharma. May both Lama live long and remain for another thousand years to continue turning the wheel of Dharma .

Vajratruth, I agree with you totally. There seem to be a recent surge of activities and starting with the Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche conferring the oral transmission (lung) of the daily practice & serkym of the special Gaden World Peace Protector Dorje Shugden. It kick started a kind of confidence and openness about the practice. Perhaps, the fact the the Dalai Lama allowed HH Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche to practice the Protector and HH coming of age and now giving teachings and conferring "lung"; all this is in the face of the Dalai Lama and the CTA. I am encouraged by what is happening and like you feels the ban is coming down.

It is always heartwarming and rejoicing to see great lamas meeting and interacting, more so between His Holiness Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche and Mahasiddha Medicine Buddha H.E. Lama Gangchen Rinpoche. This two greats are a powerful testament that DS is not a demon and engaging in His practices does not bring one to damnation but instead bring one closer onto the road to Enlightenment.

How awesome it is to host and celebrate the Birthday of H.H. Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche. H.E. Gangchen Rinpoche is so supportive of Trijang Rinpoche... looking at how affectionate H.E. is (holding Trijang Rinpoche's hand and walking) towards Gangchen Rinpoche shows us the closely and special bond they have with each other! Just like what Vajraprotector mentioned.

It is also so impressive to see that Gangchen Rinpoche's students and centre is able to receive and host such an auspicious occasion of such a high Lama! They must have really worked hard for this event. H.E. Gangchen Rinpoche must have taught his students well on how to serve and host high Lamas! Amazing devotion and dedication they have towards the Dharma. I really rejoice from my heart for them!

Yes @Vajratruth... as Trijang Rinpoche becomes more and more mature, we can see He will manifest His true self and a highly attained Lama and natural authority He has where it is without a doubt of someone who is no ordinary push over Lama! That article about the 2 Abbots being sent to seek audience with Trijang Rinpoche and request Him to return to Gaden and give up Dorje Shugden sure is ridiculous and it made the Abbots, the CTA and HHDL look really silly, sorry to say. Somewhat embarrassing. Really what were they thinking and expecting?! Wish they'd just accept it already, Trijang Rinpoche is going to be larger then life and nothing can stop Him from spreading Dorje Shugden if he wants to and so many will follow Him. So many in Tibet, Mongolia and all around the world. It is just a matter of time when the whole world will witness perhaps the most powerful Lama of our times!

It is indeed very rejoicing to see two great Lamas of our time working together to spread Dharma. Now that HH Trijang Rinpoche has gained more knowledge, hopefully we can see more teachings from Him in the next few years.

The ban imposed by HH Dalai Lama has indeed confused many people, and it is time the great Lamas such as Trijang Rinpoche to clear the doubt.

I hope with the ban lifted, all these Dorje Shugden Lamas's life will not be under threat anymore...

Rejoice to see that both HH Trijang Rinpoche and HE Gangchen Rinpoche together. As the former Trijang Rinpoche was Gangchen Rinpoche’s root guru, we can also see how close the relationship between both lamas. Besides, both are Dorje Shugden high lama that spreading the teaching of Dorje Shugden despite all the difficulties and life thread.
Last year, HH Trijang Rinpoche also visited Albagnano Healing Meditation Center and gave blessing and conferred a Yamantaka initiation to practitioners there.
