Lest We Forget

Though this event happened many years back, we cannot forget for a moment what the CTA is capable of. if CTA had their way they would make sure all the Dorje Shugden Lamas were harmed or incapacitated. When the lay people attacked Gaden 90's many many eminent monks were under the threat by this lay mob.

Who instigated the mob CTA of course, and that is after how much the Gaden monks were of benefit to the lay Tibetans in India. Gratitude is an obscene word for those who do not have it.

This particular story took place a few years ago but even today, there are similar unfortunate occurrences that go unreported and largely ignored by the Indian police which is a real shame. If you were to listen to first hand accounts of those who have suffered the violence and oppression you will begin to realize that the Dorje Shugden persecutions are amongst the worst in modern history.

What makes this totally bewildering is how these atrocities are incited and supported by a Nobel Laureate for Peace! The perpetrator is STILL celebrated as a hero of Peace, of all ironies. Another irony is how India, America and many more regarded as champions of human rights and freedom are pretending that they have no idea what is truly going on.

If there's a greatness that has arisen out of this disaster are the Shugden lamas who remain true to their guru and their oath in spite of severe punishments meted out by the CTA and its horde. At least we know who the true practitioners of Dharma are.

Westerners and "Buddhist outsiders" keep aside from the Dorje Shugden "affair".

Why? I heard that most of them consider it an internal affair and do not get involved.
Well.... we have seen before large interest from "outsiders" into other communities internal affairs!

No, I think that they don't get involved because they just cannot understand the whole thing.
Sure enough, from the "ban side", it is impossible to understand, it is filled with contradictions, it lacks common sense, and it lacks logic too... And so they don't get involved, because they can't forge a clear opinion.

But, they will understand the ostracism, the apartheid, even if they don't understand the causes.
And, the fact is that the few times that this affair was talked about in the foreign press, it was because of the segregation, the violence and the "outcasting" that the ban generated.

“Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them. HH 14th Dalai Lama

Please urge HH Dalai Lama to stop the violence and ostracism towards Dorje Shugden practitioners within the Tibetan community. Please! Enough is enough.

Please urge him to make a public statement:

"PLEASE DO NOT HARM DORJE SHUGDEN PRACTITIONERS. THOUGH WE DO NOT SHARE IN THEIR PRACTICE, PLEASE BE KIND TO THEM, HELP THEM WITH THE NECESSITIES OF LIFE. THIS IS WHAT LORD BUDDHA TAUGHT US TO DO SO WE MUST DO THIS"

This is something anyone with any kind of public relations strategy (if not Buddhist/compassionate being even) would definitely do. Why would anyone in the public eye endorse violence towards any group of people, let alone such a public icon as the Dalai Lama? Even if Dorje Shugden was the devil incarnate, substitute Dorje Shugden for Satan and people around the world would still condemn any kind of violence towards them. Especially as Dorje Shugden practitioners do not harm anyone.

So why does the Dalai Lama NOT do this? After all, he knows very well what his decree has done and is doing to all those suffering in the Tibetan refugee camps, yet he still continues to harp on the Dorje Shugden issue. Which, by the way, also contradicts his saying that he was not going to talk in public about it any longer.
