Not only does the Ruel contain prayers and mandala of the Protector Dorje Shugden with precious metals and holy relics, but also it is used during a ritual to put the energy of the Protector to be in the Ruels. Because of the prayers, this unique amulet has spiritually aided a huge group of Dalai Lama escaping from Tibet not to be detected by the Chinese government.
Given that even the Dalai sLama has been assisted with the Protector Dorje Shugden, the current Dalai Lama, even though he may not have received the aid directly, should repeal the ban on the practice of Dorje Shugden.
Oppression in one’s believing in his/her choice of religion is fundamentally wrong. Such abuse takes away the believers’ freedom and privacy. As long as the believers are not harming CTA, and if CTA wants to become as progressive and democratic as other countries’ governments, CTA and the Dalai Lama must stop their actions to remove the practice of Dorje Shugden. In the United States, one of many progressive and democratic countries, the First Amendment protects citizens’ freedom of religion and respect their individual choices. If the CTA doesn’t emphasize its refugees’ choices, the Tibet group is going to be taken apart, a dread that no one wants to see again.
