In a shocking but not all together surprising move, the CTA has published a witch-hunting list of Dorje Shugden practitioners. The only conceivable purpose is to put these people in harm's way - the CTA is known to incite Tibetan peoples' hatred and channel that hatred towards those they regard as enemies. This list essentially calls on the Tibetan who regard themselves as 'loyal' to the Dalai Lama to take action against the named people.
Why would a fair and supposedly democratic government publish the identity of people exercising their right to free speech even as the Dalai Lama has taken away their right to practice their religion? This is yet another proof of the CTA's persecution and Gestapo-like ways of silencing the Tibetan people. If the countries e.g. USA where real democracy is practised allows the peaceful protest against the Dalai Lama (for his illegal religious ban, lying to the public/deceiving the world public amongst other crimes), why should the CTA be any different if indeed it values freedom and democracy?
The CTA is more oppressive than the Chinese clearly.
Strangely, Thierry Dodin, a member in the Dalai Lama's propaganda camp objects to the the list being made public, not because it harms these innocent Shugden worshippers asking to exercise their rights, but because such a move does not fit in well with what is clearly a well-organized campaign [last week] to discredit the deity.
Dodin commented on his Facebook:
"Congratulation. This kind of 'terrorist lists' with comments denigrating the guys as immoral elements (even where true) is exactly what the Chinese would have done.
This piece of diplomatic imbecility leaves me speechless…
It will now be shown around by the Shugden-pa and the Chinese authorities as a proof that CTA is distributing 'wanted'-lists and inviting pogroms.
This destroys all successful efforts of the last weeks to counter Shugden propaganda with serious information. This is a great victory for HHDL's enemies.
Well done, guys, well done".So much skullduggery against monks and lay people who just want to practice their belief peacefully.
