Every single day, four million Dorje Shugden practitioners are subjected to vulgarities, and threats of violence and harm by Tibetans who, since 1996, have been consistently misinformed, alarmed and provoked by their leadership. Above is one such example, which was left as a comment on the DorjeShugden.com Facebook page.  It is DorjeShuden.Com first threat of violence.  Can you believe this?

It defies logic and understanding that His Holiness Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) would persist with the ban on Dorje Shugden?  Ever since it was initiated, the ban had caused nothing but sufferings to the Dorje Shugden followers.  CTA had even incited violence leading to mounting threats that are being hurled at the Dorje Shugden followers!  How could His Holiness Dalai Lama not shown any concern, care or compassion at all for these pitiful and innocent Dorje Shugden followers who merely wanted religious freedom?   Tibetan Dorje Shugden followers in particular had been and are living in constant fear of being harmed.  It seems like His Holliness Dalai Lama preferred the fulfilment of His own wishes of banning Dorje Shugden than the wellbeing of the many Dorje Shugden followers!
 
How could His Holiness Dalai Lama - the emanation of Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion - denied that there was a ban on Dorje Shugden? How could His Holiness Dalai Lama not shown any compassion for Dorje Shugden followers?  Since CTA does not protect the safety of the Tibetan Dorje Shugden followers, where would they turn to for help? If His Holiness Dalai Lama and CTA refused to lift the ban on Dorje Shugden, we can imagine the many consequences - more disharmonies, separations, conflicts, threats, deaths, fights, hatred, negative karma, misunderstandings, disrepute of Tibetan Buddhism ... the list goes on. Are these the legacies that His Holiness Dalai Lama want to leave behind for the future generations?

It is real upsetting to know there are violent individuals out there intending to cause harm to the admin of fan page. DorjeShugden.com is a site for Dorje Shugden devotees to get information, news and to share opinions and concerns with other fellow practitioners. I am very sure there are many people like myself that have learnt and benefitted so much from this informative web site. There is never a hint of hatred and violence being sparked by the articles. I am just very surprised and shocked by the reactions and statements left on the fan page by the people who does not believe in Dorje Shugden.
I pray the illogical ban on DS would be lifted soon for the effects of the ban is getting out of control as more hatred and violence is surfacing.

A very graphic threat indeed. One that betrays the fact that those perpetrating these acts, even though they class themselves as practicing Buddhists and "good ones" at that are in fact NOT PRACTICING THE TEACHINGS as taught by Buddha or Lord Tsongkhapa. They are just using blind faith to follow the divisive and denigrating rhetoric spewed by the CTA. This is NOT in accord with the teachings of the Buddha, who taught intellectual analysis, which if they followed, they would realise Dorje Shugden is an enlightened being and that the ban is doing nothing but harming the Tibetan peoples, those of us practicing the Gelugpa tradition, hindering the effort for a free Tibet and is utterly political in nature!

The picture represents hatred and violence and should be strongly condemned. The Buddha never taught his followers to harm others. The Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path. Through the Noble Eightfold Path, the Buddha taught us to have Right Thoughts which means we must have kind thoughts and thoughts of harmlessness or ahimsa which is opposed to cruelty. We are taught to have Right Action, i.e. not to kill. We cannot have unkind and harmful thoughts and still call ourselves Buddhists!

Why will he be so immature to just think by killing the admin and all the truth about Dorje Shugden practice will subside? You really think people will just stop exposing more and more antics by CTA harming Dorje Shugden practitioners? Violent is what anti Shugden use and promote. Even in the graphic is so mean. Their action does not show that there is practicing dharma. I cannot understand that if they are pro Dalai Lama or the Dalai Lama followers how can their body, speech and mind does not show compassion?

There is nothing spiritual in the ban and only vulgar and violent. More people suffer and is that what Zhen Pen’s likes? The pictures tell a thousand words. This is what in the CTA mind and how they influence the people to react towards Shugden practitioners.

Do you think killing the Admin will stop the spread of Dorje Shugden practices? What kind of threat is this? Why so violent? Is this all they can do - to threaten the practitioners because they know they are loyal?
Buddhism never teaches us to be unkind and harm any sentient beings. The picture tells everything.
Have compassion to those who wants to practice. They have done nothing wrong.
To stop all of these the ban must be lifted.

You are right Tenzin K. One of the things that struck me since I became aware of the ban, is how nonsensical, groundless, and coarse anti-Shugden contents are. In the beginning I wanted to find out more about the Dalai Lama's reasons for imposing the ban and soon discovered that anti-Shugden sentiments are nothing more than a shallow core of disinformation encircled by a thick ring of abuse, threats and vulgarities.   Frankly, I do see why it has to be that way. The truth is, there is no legitimate reasons for the ban. It is all based on lies for were it not, the "evidence" that Shugden is harmful to the Dalai Lama, Tibetan cause etc would have surfaced by now. On the other hand, dorjeshugden.com have provided an abundance of proof as to who Dorje Shugden is and how deceitful the CTA has been. Therefore in the absence of facts, attack is the only defence.

I take this threat to mean that the work being done by dorjeshugden.com is effective and hitting the ban proponents where it hurts them most, at the truth. I take these death threats to be an affirmation as well. If a person is threatened for practising a religion that teaches kindness and tolerance, and others oppose this practice, it confirms that the practice is good. Good will never threaten a practice that is good. Neither will evil threaten a practice that is evil. But evil will threaten a practice that is good.

Somehow I feel more threats will come but all they are going to do is drive Shugden people practice harder and do more to bring the ban down.

This is indeed very sad news. Students of the Nobel Peace Prize winner are inciting violence and hatred. How ironic. In front of the Westerners, HH Dalai Lama talked about love, compassion, kindness, equality, freedom etc, but in His own backyard, His administration (CTA) and His students are creating violence.

If you are a supporter of HH Dalai Lama, for His vision of peace, etc, please take a serious look of what is happening. If you donate money for HH Dalai Lama's causes, please take a serious look as well, as it has seriously violated the basic human rights of religious freedom.

This graphic threat rings alarm bells! The people behind this threat are definitely people who will not respond to logic or reason and can only be stopped from proceeding any further by the Dalai Lama or CTA themselves, or people they currently trust and respect. They are either fanatics or people who feel so threatened that they have to react with violence and vulgarity.This graphic illustration of the physical harm they are going to inflict cannot be treated as just an idle threat. As they have inflicted gross physical harm before, their threats have to be taken seriously. They will stop at nothing now.

These are people who have been manipulated with lies and distorted information. Their feelings have been played upon. They have been provoked by unscrupulous people and they will act! The only way is to get across to them the real truth of the situation in a way that they will accept and via people they trust and listen to.

May they remember that they have taken Refuge in the Three Jewels, and hence are committed to peace and love, and not violence and hate.

We condemn such memes whether it is serious or in jest and everyone who is a Dorje Shugden practitioner must take this very seriously.

All actions start with an idea and the idea was conceptualised on a cartoon, how long before they take action on this.

This no longer about Buddhism anymore, to me, more to personal gain. To kill some one who are not in the same idea as you.

it baffles me how could such a group so called pro-Dalai Lama supporter, acted like barbarian and do things which is totally opposite of what Buddhism teaches. What does the CTA have to say about such remarks and threat by their fellow supporter? Is it that CTA condone and accepts threat towards DS practitioners, who are purely seeking for religious freedom just like the other religion which is practice without any fear and violence and threat? What is H.H Dalai Lama view on such violence, Dalai Lama should stop all this by lifting the ban and give us the truth!

Yes, even in secular world these acts of violence are not tolerated but the anti Dorje Shuden people don't seem to think. They are above any sort of law, they think. They violence is the correct answered and is encouraged to keep any Dorje Shugden practitioners in check. It is insane to think you can keep discriminating and harming Dorje Shugden practitioners and getting away with it.
