The return of Denma Gonsar Rinpoche, one of the greatest Gelug Lineage masters of this age,shows, without the shadow of a doubt, the authenticity of Dorje Shugden as an Enlightened Protector. Denma Gonsar Rinpoche was a devoted practitioner of Shugden. Indeed he was a prominent lineage holder of various important teachings and practices of Dorje Shugden.
The previous Denma Gonsar Rinpoche was well respected by the Chinese Government.He had worked tirelessly for the good of all, regardless of whether they were Chinese or Tibetan.There was no personal or political agenda. He was just devoted to the spread of Dharma.His impartial stand, and the high regard the Chinese have for him, as well as the strong Chinese presence at the enthronement of the young incarnation, augur well for Sino-Tibetan relationship.
The recognition of the current incarnation of Denma Gonsar was particularly significant. The previous incarnation had said that his future incarnation would be recognized by the fact that he would be able to recite the extensive and difficult Guhyasamja Tantra perfectly from memory!
