This is a very good article in highlighting on what is going wrong with CTA with continuing on this unreasonable ban. Hopes CTA take seriously in leave up the ban and not continued to enforce this ban and cause shame to own Tibetan.

This is very interesting news. I do agree 100% that Dorje Shugden Lamas who have been working alongside Chinese and Tibetans in Tibet for the spread of Lama Tsongkhapa's traditions and if I may say I think the Chinese had a good look at the monks of the Gelug tradition and if I may say they are impressed. So impressed that the Chinese have supported certain Gelug lamas to teach outside of Tibet, people like Lama Thupten Phurbu and Lama Jampa Ngodup. This is superb news for Lama Tsongkhapa's tradition. Such lamas have stayed behind to serve the Tibetan people, I truly admire their compassion.

CTA and even the Dalai Lama's reputation and influence are on the wane. The immolation that CTA was banking on that to gain mileage with the Chinese. That has fallen flat, and resulted in the pain and death of so many Tibetans who tried and given up their lives for a failed cause. At this time when CTA is faced with zero options, the only thing they have not tried is to engage with the powerful and famous Dorje Shugden lamas.

good to see Lama Tsongkhapa lineage are being kept alive and thriving in China and Tibet, thanks to the Dorje Shugden Lama who had been working hard in spreading the practice of DS and Lama Tsongkhapa from Tibet to the world.

CTA influence are on the collapsing, only the Tibetan in India who ignorantly refuse to listen to the truth but rather believing in the lies hatred orchestrated by the CTA to the Tibetan against Dorje Shugden practitioners. CTA please stop irritating China, and stop your lies and lift the ban of Dorje Shugden now. whole world knows about your lies!

CTA had gotten itself into a stalemate!  For over 50 years CTA had not been successful in its negotiations with China to gain independence or autonomous self-rule status from China.  By now CTA should realise it had failed miserably and noticed its incapability to gain independence or autonomous self-rule from China.  Had the ban not been enforced for so long, CTA would not have been so distracted by the ban but instead work on gaining independence or autonomy. CTA had clearly lost its sense of direction. CTA should stop doing things that irritates China, it is impossible for CTA to overcome the formidable China!

Maybe, just maybe, all these charade on the Dorje Shugden ban is nothing more than a diversion by the CTA  . They need to divert the peoples eyes from the fact that they are unsuccessful in their negotiations with China. they, then need a very big scapegoat and maybe, just maybe the Dorje Shugden issue is so big that eventually people will forget about the real issue i.e. no going back to Tibet. That is a very secular way of thinking.

On a more profound spiritual level, only the Buddhas and Mahasiddhas know what is going on becasue nothing about the ban makes sense except that more people are aware of the existence of this dharmapala called Dorje Shugen.

It's really silly and sad that some people on Facebook are already saying that Shugden practitioners are supported by the Chinese just because of articles like these. They have not even read the contents and they are so quick to jump to conclusions. How childish! The article is proposing a very solid and viable means of starting fresh talks with the Chinese in order to gain some ground with the Tibet cause by abolishing the DS ban and utilising the strong connections that some Shugden lamas have with the Chinese leadership. Not surprisingly, it has and will fall on deaf ears. Not only that, some people continue to further that unsubstantiated claim that Shugden practitioners are funded by the Chinese. Preposterous claim and just meant to inflame anti-Shugden sentiment.

I don't think the article is the only reason people make the unsubstatiated claim that Shugden people are supported by China.... it's because the CTA people actually say that, Robert Thurman says that--- all with what backing?  No backing.... so just like on the CTA website they say that various Shugden groups, including the NKT were involved in the awful murder of three DL monks in the 1990s--- they should prove what they are saying, but no one ever expects them to.... the culprits were never caught--- who knows if they even did our prayers.... but they are quick to point the finger at Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and his organization, though he would never harm anyone ever. 
  This is a normal tatic for the DL side of things to do; when the prior incarnation of Jomgon Kontrol died in a car accident, the DL side of the Kagyus was quick to point the finger at Shamar Rinpoche.  People were still reciting like a litany that he had murdered Jomgon Kontrol, but Shamar Rinpoche is recognized by the 16th Karmapa and as an emanation of Amitaba--- and he displayed rainbow lights at various key points in his cremation ceremony.... so you know, I am really very tired of the DL people accusing people of doing terrible things. 
  They need to prove that people got money from China if they are going to claim they did, okay.  And then they need to prove who does a murder instead of just accusing anyone they want to demonize....

The Dalai Lama claims that Dorje Shugden practitioners will be disruptive in their efforts in achieving the Tibetan cause, which is to gain self-autonomy, but in actual fact, Dorje Shugden practitioners are not to be blamed as explained in the article, Shugden lamas maintain strong ties with the Chinese which could be a bridge for the CTA to regain self-autonomy. In fact, it is the ban on Dorje Shugden by the CTA and Dalai Lama that contributes to them not achieving what they want for Tibet. All the reasons that the Dalai lama stated will result from practising Dorje Shugden, is actually a result of enforcing the illegal ban to religious freedom. Shortening the Dalai lama's life, created by the violence and disharmony between Tibetans and Gelug Buddhist practitioners as well as disparaging of gurus and breaking samaya, Disruption to the cause of Tibet, is because China is weary of the disharmony CTA has managed to bring about within their people and also the protests and riots, which China would very much like to avoid. All these reasons stated by the Dalai Lama is not valid, for practising Dorje Shugden does not contribute to it. Illegally enforcing the ban on Shugden practise does.

I seriously do not think that CTA will ever stop irritating China unless the whole administrati0n does a 360 degree change. As of today for 50 years, nothing has change. There are no improvement. They are not moving forward instead I don't think China actually think much of CTA. Plus the other MEGA countries are submitting to China demands more and more.

These are the 2 points which stand out in this article.

It will be okay; the CTA will stop irritating China because some unmistaken Shugden gurus can teach lojong to the Chinese.
  Now, how will the CTA stop being irritated?  They need to get lojong teachings, too....
