Sikyong addressed the Catalonia Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee
October 21, 2014 12:39 pm

Barcelona, 20 October:  “It is an honour to welcome the delegation from the people of Tibet to the Catalonia Parliament,” said Mr. Jordi Sole I Ferranda, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee welcoming Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay.

The Chairman said that the Catalonia Parliament is concerned wherever human rights are not respected. Other members expressed their concern about the present situation in Tibet.

“Since 2009, there has been 132 Tibetans who have self-immolated in Tibet. Sadly 113 have died,” said Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay. “The Central Tibetan Administration is very concerned.  We have consistently and categorically discouraged self-immolation. But, we support their aspiration calling for the return of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and freedom in Tibet.”

Thubten Wangchen, the monk on the extreme left in the picture had in May this year sparkled a row between China and Spain over a legal lawsuit of human rights in international waters.  The result had been an utter failure on the part of Spain to begin legal proceeding on China.  As China whose economical power is now second to none (has recently surpassed USA) had threaten Spain on bilateral and trade relations made Spain bow out to China on human rights issues in Tibet.

The Catalonia Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee can express whatever human rights concern they had on Tibet but they are not going to bang their heads onto the Great Wall.  I feel it is just a publicity stunt and a game to humour the Tibetan Sikyong.

On the issue of the 132 self-immolations in Tibet, I feel if it had not been CTA encouraging them and glorifying these self-immolators as martyrs, self-immolations would not be on the rise.  The self-immolators had immolated in vain when clearly the whole Tibetan political scene had already been decided by CTA, that is CTA have accepted and made a declaration to come under the Communist rule.  Why do CTA keep deceiving her own people at the expense of their lives to gather sympathy of other nations?

Totally agree that the Catalonia Parliament should be educated on the ban and the violent, mistreatment towards the Lord Shugden practitioners. The concern from Catalonia Parliament on human right should be on ban instead of the free Tibet.

What is the point of free Tibet if they don’t even know how to unite their own people? Instead of discriminating their own people for unnecessary ban on their own people believe CTA should create or encourage harmonious among their people.

What a shameful for Sikyong to travel around and to tell their difficulties and problem they face to the world!!! Where the CTA is creating the difficulties and problem which include violent to their own Tibetan people….what a SHAME!!!

There is no respect of HUMAN RIGHT by the CTA and should make known to the world!
The way how Sikyong is trying to get sympathy from the world will not success at CTA ugly picture already revealed with evident. More people should read up on dorjeshugden.com for all the facts.
