Even Grandma knows Dalai Lama is wrong.
« on: November 17, 2014, 04:40:13 AM »
From a facebook post by Sofia Neumerkel: [url]https://www.facebook.com/sofia.neumerkel?fref=nf.] https://www.facebook.com/sofia.neumerkel?fref=nf.
I quote her.

Quote
My grandmother read about the Dorje Shugden protest. She's 89 years old this year, she doesn't really have a religious faith. But she believes in humanity.
She knows I am a Dorjes Shugden practitioner, she could not understand why this deity is called a demon or spirit by some people because I have not turned worse but instead I am a more patient and more tolerant person.
My grandmother says Dalai Lama must be out of his mind to impose a ban that creates separation among his people.
Nana, now you know why I want to support the protest.

Wise Grandma. Maybe she should go tell the Dalai Lama. LOL. But seriously even older folks who do not know religion one from the other has the common sense and basic belief in human rights and in the results of a practice that transform people. Religion and its doctrine are just the methods that arise from the skillful means of the Buddhas to address the sufferings of beings. It is given a label for the understanding of beings. Otherwise there needs no label for ultimately there is none. The Buddha is better than the next. This deity is a spirit and can hurt a Buddha. Ridiculous. Who cares? Except that the karma of people is such that the Buddha need to hurt the practitioners of another Buddha arising from the ignorance of beings.

Yes, indeed that is a very wise and neutral grandma. She has seen right to the core of the problem. Please Dalai Lama do lift the ban. Please be consistent as eventually, calling Dorje Shugden a spirit will turn other protectors into spirits as well.

Grandma is wise. She believes in humanity and human rights. Please Dalai Lama lift the ban. Families have broken apart and DS practitioners had to suffer so much because of you. You know that Dorje Shugden is not a spirit so why are you still doing this to create so much disharmony and sufferings?

Wise grandma know from life’s experience that if the cause was incorrect the result must be similar to the cause. It was also a saying that a peach stone cannot resulted into an apple tree, the pure lineage stamped from enlightened master who is one with Manjushri cannot resulted to being reborn as a spirit!

A student that learned from teachers of pure righteous lineage cannot be worse than he/she was before.
By reversing this analytical sequence, the guru or protector must be of righteous to result in a righteous student such was what observed by grandma based on common sense.

Very well said. If the guru can be 'wrong' for something as important as a deity then what about the Dharma and realisation he has, could he be wrong too? Then what confidence can we have for his students?

This is one wise grandmother!!  It is sad to see H.H.Dalai Lama prosecuting his own people - causing them incredible fear, sadness and loneliness. It is time for reconciliation between Dorje Shugden and non Dorje Shugden practitioners. Let there be religious freedom.

What grandma said about Dalai Lama is so true, how can Dalai Lama imposed a ban that separate its own people. As a leader, he and his CTA should unite his people and fight for the independence of Tibet. Dalai Lama must have compassion towards his own people. He should not do something that will harm them, causing them to suffer. A wise grandma can see that Dalai Lama is wrong, why there are still many blindly following and supporting the Dalai Lama.

Dalai Lama please stop all this wrong act, lift the ban and let your people do the practice of their choice. Lifting the ban is the most compassionate act Dalai Lama can do for his people.

We can only guess or suspect why did Dalai Lama imposed the ban on the practice of Dorje Shugden but ultimately since the ban it has create more sufferings and separations to the people of Tibet. Not only that, since Tibetan Buddhism is growing rapidly every year it is also somehow effected millions of non-tibetan practitioners around the world. Let's hope the ban will be lifted very soon so that all of us can be as one in order to concentrate on our spiritual paths without any propaganda.

Even grandma is so wise to know that the Dalai Lama is wrong and that DS is not a demon. Changes in people who is practicing DS to be more tolerant and patient is a good example for all to see. If grandma can understand that it brings good result to those who practice then let's hope the ban be lifted as soon as possible.

There will never be peace as long as the meaningless ban is there, just the ban itself had brought so many problems to thousands of family members and friends. Sofia's grandma has witnessed her transformation through practising Dorje Shugden, this is another testimonial to support the fact that Dorje Shugden is not a demon and that He can save lives, He can help people to change for the better. The ban is just meaningless, it brings nothing but only pain and sufferings to the people who love Dorje Shugden. Everyone deserves to practise their own religion freely, even a person without a religion supports that, then why can't we? May the ban be lifted very soon so that we can all live in harmony, there's no point of fighting amongst ourselves, we are all normal HUMAN BEINGS.

If HHDL wants to make unity and win Tibet of its independence imposing this ban is not the answer. Imposing a religious ban of his own people doesn't earn him the Nobel peace prize. HHDL has done many great things to spread Buddhism throughout the world especially the western side, but his own people are suffering from practicing a practice given to them by their own guru.

My guru said: "One highly attained being cannot be better than another one. Its just how they manifest."

How can HHDL impose this ban on Dorje Shugden practitioners, does it mean all the highly attained masters, geshes, lamas and even his own teachers Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and Kyabje Ling Rinpoche were wrong?

Way to go grandma, she speaks wisdom. I do not hate HHDL, nor do I want to put him down, we just want this ban to end and allow all of us to practice in peace. Our main goal in humanity let alone Buddhist is to spread peace and liberate beings from suffering throughout all the realms. Why fight amongst our own for what we believe in and practice. We are just following what our Guru taught us, let us practice guru devotion.

Through Sofia's Facebook post it shows that her grandmother noticed her transformation and also felt that she has changed for the better. With that, her grandmother knows that Dorje Shugden is not a demon, instead is a deity. Reason being is that there is no way that when we practice something that is demonic, we can transform into a better person. If we do demonic practices, we would only be a worst person, we would never be able to transform to be a better person and be able to influence the ones around us to do this practice that many say is a demonic practice.

If even H.H Dalai Lama's guru can be practicing Dorje Shugden, it would mean that this practice is correct. Reason being that if H.H Dalai Lama's guru is wrong, then whatever that the Dalai Lama is teaching us now would be wrong. Then that would not make any sense. At the same time, if the Dalai Lama's teacher is wrong, then why should the Dalai Lama go pay his respects at his Guru's residence every time the Dalai Lama goes back to Gaden?

The  older you grow the wiser you become due to your life experience and discernment . No doubt Sophia’s grandma  knows nothing about Dorje Shugden’s practice and neither is she a DS practitioner, this elderly woman was puzzled as how the results of devil worshipping could lead to positive end of tolerance, patience, compassion and loving kindness. Based on the above simple logic, the ban on the holy protector is a farce in the eyes of common folks.
