With US President Barrack Obama already officially recognizing Tibet as part of China, and with the likelihood of the other Western countries following suit, it is amazing to see that the TYC is still struggling to uphold a lost cause. If TYC truly cares about the future of Tibetans in Tibet and everywhere in the world, shouldn't they really take a hard look at the real situation with Tibetans in Tibet. Instead of clinging on to a past where, a country was lost, letting go, and seeing that the culture and religion of Tibet can still be preserved, although in a different political climate, is surely the best way going forward.
Hence, going after DS groups, who are fighting for the ban on Shugden practice to be lifted , is wasting time and effort, which should be used more constructively. The ban divided Tibetans not the protests against the ban.
