Here Professor Powers says, Western Dorje Shudgen buddhist organisations are not funded by the Chinese. Although in the areas controlled by China the monasteries with Dorje Shudgen have Chinese support and the Chinese are placing Dorje Shudgen statues in many monasteries in Tibet. Since Dorje Shugden has spread to all various Tibetan Sects before, and it could have taken a greater hold on other tibetan traditions if it were not for the ban it is only good that many Tibetan meet with Dorje Shugden and come under his protection.

The Dalai Lama can just speak up that Tibetans and other Buddhists should not look at Dorje Shudgen people and practitioners as people who some kind of demonic or pariah of the Buddhist community.

The Dalai Lama reversed his decision before with the Jonangpas after almost extinguishing them during the time of the Great 5th Dalai Lama. So the Dalai Lama does have the power to end this conflict and we all can go back to meditate on the Lamrim and do our practices.  So Why does he do that?

It is indeed true that H.H Dalai Lama can end all of these controversies. The big question is what doesn't He do that?

Why create schism within your own Buddhism school and make friends with other religions? It doesn't make any sense at all. It shows nothing at all. It will be pointless for that kind of courtesy to try create peace within different religions. Simple reason, even within your own religion you are not able to create peace and harmony why extend the gesture to other religions?
