When will Lobsang Sangay CTA stop taking from people and own up their own mistakes? 60 years of non performing resulting in the suffering of its people. Already incurring wrath of deities and other sponsoring countries already talking of stopping to support the disfunctional CTA. Seems inevitable that CTA will be doomed one day, not because of Dorje Shugden but it is because of their own making.

The CTA and Lobsang Sangay will never own up their mistakes because they don't think they are wrong. It is Dorje Shugden's fault that they fail in their free Tibet movement. The CTA always play the role of a victim, they paint the picture that China creates so much suffering to them.

They think the world should take pity on them and give them what they ask for. They have been doing this for the past 60 years, they will continue to do it without shame. When the CTA can get easy money by showing the West a few photos of people suffer, why do they want to work hard for the money?

It is very ridiculous to put the blame on a deity who doesn't even have a physical form. But yet there are still people who believe it. If Dorje Shugden is so powerful to make the cause fail, he must have the same power to make it a success. If The CTA is smart, they should make Dorje Shugden their friend so he can help to make the Tibet cause a success.

Not only that, it seems that the latest news about Dharamsala is that Lobsang Sangay now doesn't get along with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. It is even reported in the news. 

Differences between Dalai Lama and CTA president put Tibetan politics in a tailspin

Tibetan politics is in a tailspin as there are signs of serious differences between the 14th Dalai Lama, unquestionably the supreme and undisputed leader of the Tibetans, and Lobsang Sangay, president of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).

The immediate provocation is the unceremonious cancellation of the 13th Religious Conference of the Schools of Tibetan Buddhism and Bon Tradition, which was scheduled between November 29 and December 1 year in Dharamshala. Insiders have revealed that the conference was cancelled by Lobsang without consulting the Dalai Lama.

Even more intriguing is the timing of the move. Knowledgeable sources in the Tibetan establishment in India disclosed that Lobsang made the move while the Dalai Lama was travelling back from Japan, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to do anything to stop it.

Tibetan leaders never produce any results. They hide behind being refugees when they are rich. They just want free money. Many sponsors of Tibetans are tired of them and realize this truth. I have many friends who told me so.

This is so embarrassing. After 60 years instead of asking for help they should start helping others. Show that Tibetans have gratitude.

How many years more the Tibetans intend to get help from others? It has been 60 years and they still end up in the same spot begging for donations and hopefully someone can drop out from the sky and save them from their failing Tibetan cause? It ain't going to happen. Recently, Lobsang Sangay even has the audacity to announce to the world that Tibetan Cause will be on-going for another 50 years.

Where are all the donations that the Tibetan government receive every year? The amount of those donations are millions in USD. With so much of assistance and help from people all over the world, they are still stagnant in the progress of getting back Tibet. They never actually did anything that really shows their effort and their will in getting back Tibet from China. All they do is just travel around the globe, trash talk China and then leave with money in their hands.

There were no attempts to initiate a dialogue with China seriously to kick-start the process of getting back Tibet. They just went on and collect donations from all over the world and I think they were quite happy with it. There are no real issues for the government to deal with since they do not have any land to be responsible with. They only need to take care of the 100,000 Tibetans in Exile which is decreasing every year. It is not that hard, they just want to get free money without doing anything in the end.

He has not contributed anything to the Tibetans but created a lot of disharmony within the community. He criminalised Dorje Shugden followers and published books and videos that are full of lies and distorted facts to segregate the Tibetans. He should know without unity, the Free Tibet movement will not progress. Why does he continue to do that? It seems like he doesn't really want to free Tibet.

After so many years as the president of the Tibetan leadership, what did he achieve? The only thing I can think of is that he manages to pay off the mortgage of his Boston property. Everyone knows where he got the money from and it's not a secret anymore. During his years of serving as the leader of the Tibetan government, there is absolutely no progress in the Tibetan Cause.

What is he doing flying all over the world giving speeches? All of the money that he spent does not have any result and he still dares to ask more for donations. Why are Tibetans willing to let the CTA exploit them and stay quiet? Why is His Holiness the Dalai Lama is keep quiet with all the nasty things that CTA did?

Lobsang Sangay is the most useless leader in the world. He may have a very impressive qualification but he really cannot deliver anything to the Tibetans. The free Tibet movement is still not showing any progress, the future of the Tibetans in exile is still not promising.

Lobsang Sangay has a very bad reputation. He siphoned money; he is a womaniser; he even sexually assaulted a few women. He uses his power to give favour to people he likes, for example, Dhardon Sharling. He runs the CTA as if it is his personal business.

Lobsang Sangay is using his position to try to make money for himself. He has access to a very wide network which he could use in future when he decides to leave the CTA. He is not here to serve the Tibetans, he is here to serve his own interest. The Tibetans have made a very wrong decision to let him serve his second term as the Sikyong.

Lobsang Sangay is useless, that is for sure. There should be more Lukar Jam Atsok in the Tibetan community. So far, he is the only person who is making more sense. He went against Lobsang Sangay not because he could not get what he wants but because Lobsang Sangay is really abusing his power and incapable to bring the Tibetans a better future.

For the past 60 years, the Tibetans have been exploited by their own government. The CTA is using their refugee status to ask for free money from the west. It is such easy money, therefore the CTA has to make sure the Tibetans continue to remain as refugees. It is impossible that a cause can be run for so long and yet there is no result. Bear in mind, the CTA has also received a lot of financial aid for their cause.

People like Jam Lukar Atsok really wants to bring benefit to the Tibetans. He sees that the CTA has not achieved much and he would like to make a change. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a lot of support. I guess it is also because most of the Tibetans are also very happy to remain as refugees because they don't believe they can change their lives for the better.

It has been 60 years since the Tibetans fled Tibet and took refuge in India. India is so kind as to have opened their doors to them and hosted them. India went all the way by providing lands for them to develop their own community and even allow their government to operate on their grounds. This is totally unheard of in the world where a country will allow another government to set up and operate on their land.

However, the Tibetans are taking their own sweet time to resolve their situation and get out of India as soon as possible to avoid being a burden to them. Lobsang Sangay even announced to the world that Tibet cause will need another 50 years. This means that Tibetans will stay in India for a total of 110 years which is over a century!

Who in the world will be willing to host refugees in their country for over a century? India is not obligated to do anything for the Tibetans and they certainly do not appreciate the help that they are getting. They have so much of donations and support from all over the world but they failed to make any changes to their situation. This shows that the Tibetan government are comfortable with their current situation and they do not wish to get out of it.

One should ask as to why the Tibetans in exile would tolerate incapable leader like Lobsang Sangay who just go from one country to another to collect cheques that do not benefits Tibetan refugees in general.

Just to be frank, if after escaping from your country for 60 years you still need donation, it means that the government is a failure and does not provide enough opportunities for advancement.

Lobsang Sangay is so useless that he has to always ask people to help him. He asks free money from the sponsors so that he is still paid monthly. He expects India to let them stay in India because they are still poor refugees after 60 years. CTA's failure is not their own fault but it is Dorje Shugden and China's fault. They are always the victim. The fact is, Lobsang Sangay is not sincere in fighting for a free Tibet. He just wants to get some financial benefit from being the leader of the Tibetans.

Let me remind everyone that they were the ones who created the karma to be attacked by viciously reporting falsehoods particularly with regards to Dorje Shugden.

CTA President responding to questions on cybersecurity

DHARAMSHALA, March 21: The ongoing 7th session of the 16th Parliament-in-exile today saw the President of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) Dr Lobsang Sangay referencing to Buddha’s teaching as a useful practice to counter phishing and cyber-attacks targeting the exile setting.

Dorjee Tseten, a member of parliament from Dotoe province raised the question on what measures were taken to mitigate the impact of cyber-attacks like the pro-China threat actors phishing attack that happened early this year that used a CTA mailing list.

Calling it a worldwide reality and something CTA has been facing for years now, Sangay revealed that during the 60th Tibetan National Uprising Day Ceremony proceeding held recently, the official live broadcast suffered malfunction with subtitles emerging automatically on the screen and disruption to the live broadcast during Sikyong’s speech that remained omitted from the broadcast. 

The DIIR technical team had to switch off the transmission and use a different set of equipment to continue.

Sangay also said that tibet.net, the official website of the administration in exile continues to face attacks making it difficult for governments around the world to visit the website from their office computer systems.

“The staff of Radio Free Asia (RFA) and Voice of America (VOA) claimed to be unable to view the website from their respective office computers although they could view on their mobile phones,” he said of his experience during one of his visits to Washington.

The CTA also faced an issue with the live transmission on the first day of the ongoing parliamentary session and foresee similar obstructions during election time.

To better prepare for such attacks, an expert cyber security team with members from the Netherlands, Germany and Italy was invited for a 2-day workshop for the concerned staff a few weeks ago.

CTA continues to impart tips and workshops by experts from its Tibetan Computer Resource Center (TCRC), the technical wing of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR).

Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar, a member of parliament from U-Tsang province urged the president who is also the head of DIIR to not let it pass as a common phenomenon but to actively counter it as it is impacting the daily work of the whole exile workforce. She proposed having the staff of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) included in such workshops teaching good practices in cybersecurity.

Sangay responded by saying the administration will tackle the problem even it would mean hiring experts from abroad or from India to improve cybersecurity know-how and agreed that the threat cannot be differentiated between CTA and NGOs as the interexchange of emails expose everyone to the same vulnerability.

“We will invite representatives of NGOs or attend workshops organized by NGOs,” said Sangay, projecting a united front to tackle the cybersecurity threat.

Since Lobsang Sangay refused to do anything and continue to let the Tibetans in exile to sufffer, they have finally woken up from the delusion of relying the CTA to return to Tibet. Many Tibetans in exile now leave India and have decided to move on. After all, you don't really need 60 years to realise the uselessness of the CTA and the Dalai Lama cannot do anything all by himself.

Mumbai, India - For many years, 34-year-old Kunsang Tenzing has been thinking about leaving India. 

His family did years ago. Most of his closest friends have also moved. 

Over the last seven years, the Tibetan refugee community in India has dropped by 44 percent, from around 150,000 in 2011 to 85,000, according to Indian government data. 

Tibetan authorities say most are going to countries such as the United States, Canada, Germany and Switzerland. 

Some are returning to Tibet.

Across 40 countries, the Tibetan diaspora stands at 150,000, Tibetan authorities say.

This month, the community celebrates 60 years in India after the Chinese invasion of Tibet in March, 1959.

If the emigration continues, what will remain of the community in India, the country where its spiritual leader the Dalai Lama sought refuge and made his home?

"It is very difficult to make money here. There are barely any jobs here," Tenzing says.

Tibetans are not officially recognised as refugees in India. Instead, on paper, they are designated as "foreigners". 

India has refused to sign the 1951 United Nations convention on refugees. 

"As a result, Tibetans are not allowed government jobs. Sometimes, even universities don't admit Tibetan students," says Sonam Norbu Dagpo, the spokesman for the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), the Tibetan government-in-exile, which is based in Dharamshala, India. 

Dakpo says the number of incoming Tibetans fleeing Chinese rule has plummeted, from around 3,000 annually to about 100 last year.

Economic concerns are central; many Tibetans say that buying property and accessing bank credit are difficult, leaving them with few options. 

In addition, India's dithering over its support to the Tibetan cause makes people nervous.

Last year, the government issued a directive prohibiting bureaucrats and leaders from attending events organised by the CTA marking 60 years in India. 

The directive came on the eve of an informal summit between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. 

An embarrassed CTA was forced to cancel eventsfeaturing the Dalai Lama and hold them outside New Delhi.

It isn't easy to go anywhere, being a refugee. No country wants us.

In the streets of McLeod Ganj, a small hill town in northern India which is the de-facto capital of the Tibetan community and the home of the Dalai Lama, almost everyone has a story of painful separation.

Yangzom Tsering, 29, was smuggled to India from Tibet by her relatives soon after her birth. Both her parents passed away soon after.

Tsering has always yearned to go back to Tibet to see her siblings who still live there. 

"My brother kept telling me that I should come back home. I checked out all the options but it [going back to Tibet] was very difficult." 

Last year, his brother passed away.

Guilt-ridden, he now feels the need to take more responsibility for his family and plans to migrate to Canada. 

"But it isn't easy to go anywhere, being a refugee. No country wants us."
