What an interesting turn of event - the Indian Union Minister Mahesh Sharma said that "We support the Dalai Lama's struggle for returning to his country." Could this be an indication that India will help to negotiate the Dalai Lama's return to Tibet since China does not trust the Dalai Lama or the Tibetans?

When it's issue of relations between India and Tibet, there is no need for a thank you. This is an emotional moment, the word refugee is painful you are our friends and guests in India. Tibetans have integrated Indian culture as flower and fragrance, thus the word thank you does not hold a meaning. We are committed to protecting and supporting the Tibetan culture. Prime Minister Modi is taking Indian culture and traditional message of peace to the world and Tibetan culture is part of it., said Mahesh Sharma. Sharma added, "We support the Dalai Lama's struggle for returning to his country."

Could this be an indication that India will help to negotiate the Dalai Lama's return to Tibet since China does not trust the Dalai Lama or the Tibetans?

Maybe India is trying to get rid of His Holiness the Dalai Lama? It is an indirect way of saying that the Dalai Lama should go back to Tibet, China. And will China accept the Dalai Lama returning in this way? Just what kind of deal did India make with China in regards to Dalai Lama's return? Let's watch carefully as this unfolds.

If the Dalai Lama returns to Tibet, what does that mean for CTA? The would not be able to use the Dalai Lama's name to raise more funds, and does this mean CTA becomes redundant because we all know without the Dalai Lama, no one is going to give their time to this administration.

AFTER months of Bollywood stunts, India's real motive is revealed: India wants Tibetans to be out. From the cancellation of Tibetan activities/events to giving Dalai Lama cold shoulder, India is finally willing, to tell the truth. India had enough of hosting the ungrateful and demanding Tibetans and voicing out their wish for the Tibetans to leave. India has previously given the Tibetans option to remain in India by taking up the citizenship. With China still seeing Dalai Lama as a separatist, there is no hope for the Tibetans to return to China. Tibetans have nowhere to go except to remain in India as her citizen and that is the last resource. This is India's way to tell the world that the CTA can be eliminated and no more aid will come their way.

After 60 years of support, one would expect some kind of appreciation but the Tibetans in India not only have not shown any but they expect more. Lobsang Sangay wants to fight to free Tibet for another 50 years! How insensitive is that, India is trying to establish a good relationship with China and Lobsang Sangay makes such a statement to jeopardise India's effort.

Not only that, when the Indian government offers citizenship to the Tibetans, it is not appreciated at all. The CTA refuses to issue documents to the Tibetans to apply for the citizenship and many Tibetans rather go overseas. India has given them the land to rebuild their homes but they think India is the second best.

It is no wonder India wants to support Dalai Lama's decision to return to Tibet. Without the Tibetans getting in the way, the Indian government can do so much more with China to grow their economy. At the moment, the most powerful economy in Asia is China and India has a very big potential to become the second one. If they work well with China, it will benefit them a lot and also the Asia region.

The intention for India to support Dalai Lama's struggle to return to Tibet is quite obvious. They wanted His Holiness the Dalai Lama to be out from their land. They have hosted His Holiness for over 60 years now and the situation has changed and he is no longer beneficial to India. In fact, his presence in India is causing more problems for the Indian government now.

China had become one of the most powerful countries in the world over the years and India is trying hard to be on their good side. Tibetans being in India is not helping at all and creating alot of tension between India and China. It is obvious that India is trying very hard to keep the distance between them and Tibetans. There is even a leaked memo from the government telling his government people not to attend any Tibetan functions.

This how bad the situation is for the Tibetan-Indian relationship. Tibetans had stayed stagnant in their own world 60 years ago and the whole world had progressed since then. That is why Tibetan will never be able to get back their country anytime soon.

It is very obvious and logical for India to be tired of Tibetans in their country and creating problems for 60 years. Which country is willing to accept refugees to live on their land for 60 years without any contribution to their country?

Now that China is one of India’s interest, Tibetans will be out of the picture very soon. China has been giving India problems ever since Tibetans took refuge in India. China had grown to be one of the most powerful countries in the world and India would very much like to work with China to improve their economy and power too.

Tibetans who are not contributing anything at all for 60 years will be seen as an obstacle for them to achieve their collaboration with China. Soon, India will choose to let go of Tibetans and they will be forced to go back to China eventually. Tibetans should just leave India before India take action on them and it won’t be nice if they do.

China is the big brother in the Asia region now, soon they will be the big brother of the world. Everyone wants to work with China for economic benefits, so does India. India is predicted to be the next most powerful economy in Asia if they work closely with China, they will be able to achieve that very soon.

There is no benefits to be associated with the CTA and the Dalai Lama. Giving support to the CTA or the Dalai Lama will jeopardise the relationship with China. When a country is not associated with the CTA, China will be very willing to help and work with t hem. For example, Nepal, after they have disassociated themselves with the CTA and the Dalai Lama, China injected a lot of funds in Nepal to help them to develop their country. 

When someone is associated with the CTA, they will have to give something to the CTA, the CTA does not have anything to give them. They have been a beggar for the past 60 years who only takes, what do they have to give? India experiences that first hand and they don't want to be used anymore. Sending the Dalai Lama back to Tibet is a wise decision. If they manage to do that, their relationship with China will improve immediately and it will help their economy to grow.

Oh dear! When I read this, I couldn't help but laugh! Such diplomacy these Indian Ministers. Yes, they are all in support of the Dalai Lama going back to Tibet and then only will they be able to retrieve their valuable land and be free to trade with whomever they wish without having to scramble to cover some blunders by the Tibetan Leaders. And the part where "When it's issue of relations between India and Tibet, there is no need for a thank you", Urmmm, why did the Indians boycotted the big Thank You event organised by CTA and made them move this event which then turned out to be a failure. Now, this is great diplomacy for you to learn from. All in all, it is a good idea for the Dalai Lama to go back to China as that is where the future is in Buddhism and also China is strong now in politics, trade and power. China is not the enemy but CTA is as it is causing everything wrong and negative towards their own people due to their greed and pride. Such a shame!

After all, what can the Tibetans give? Not that they can stimulate the economic growth of a country.

Who does not want a strong and powerful economy? China has become one of the most powerful countries in the world and having a trade relationship with her can bring tremendous benefits to one's country. That is why India cannot afford to risk their relationship with China for a bunch of refugees which is proven to be problem makers.

The Tibetans have always been a thorn in China's flesh. Whoever that sides with the Tibetans or treated them nice, they will offend China. Hence, it is not a good choice for India who wants to work with China to treat the Tibetans nice. In fact, it is the best for the Tibetans to leave India on their own and make India’s life easier.

Tibetan leadership is stupid to have gone against China. They will never be able to win because China is way more powerful than them. They are just a fake government with no physical real land to govern over and survive on donations from other countries. They should just stop making problems and lay low.
