Why do only Tibetans inside Tibet self-immolate? Not Tibetans outside of Tibet?

This is what the Central Tibetan Administration should do, but what they should do and what they actually do are two complete different things. Why they never really stop their own people to kill themselves? Because the people are just the tools for them to gain moral and monetary support from the world, from the West especially.

While Lobsang Sangay is talking about making Dalai Lama's dream to return Tibet comes true, he himself couldn't care less about returning to Tibet as he can go to United Sates and enjoy his good life there. We all know he has lots of money and has property there. He is such a hypocrite. The money pumped in for the Central Tibetan Administration all goes to where and who? I need not have to say much.

I think all this while he has just been plotting and finding a way to get rid of the Dalai Lama and once the Dalai Lama is gone, he probably think he has full control then. How stupid can he be thinking he can ever be respeted by Tibetans. My goodness, there is actually a guidebook published by the CTA to guide people to self-immolate? No government in this world will advise their people to kill themselves for the country, the CTA is the only one. I am even more surprised that the Dalai Lama encouraged it. Didn't the Buddha said if we kill ourselves, we will go to the lower realms?

The CTA and Lobsang Sangay are real murderers, they may not have murdered someone themselves but the guidebook they published that encourages people to self-immolate is already a big crime. Up to date, more than 160 people in Tibet have sacrificed their lives for a cause that has not shown any result after 60 years. The thing is why are there more people self-immolate in Tibet but not outside of Tibet?

The CTA encourages the Tibetans in Tibet to self-immolate because they are more gullible and not exposed to the outside world. They are not aware of what the CTA is doing, how the CTA is using these self-immolation cases to get donations for themselves. The CTA has not done anything good but only evil deeds, causing pain and sufferings to their own people.

Agreed with Thaimonk. It came to my thought always when I see those self-immolate person are so young in age. Some are even students. How many heart break it causes to the family when seen their son did self-immolate. And why, Tibetan in India especially those CTA members, why not they do it? To show they are determine to get back China, to Free Tibet? Or they just too busy to do so.

I personally do not encourage these self-immolate, it do not bring any meaning but tragic. I am just angry when I read this news, the Dalai Lama, the CTA is not stopping it. But, some how seem to encourage it. This is really disasters. And, it show how CTA do not appreciate the human's life.

I also think that the a lot of news about the Dalai lama and CTA, are propaganda. Such propaganda can only result in more and more immolations happening.

There is also a widespread censorship by China to protect its citizens, still if Tibetans keep looking to whats going on India they a re abound to find it. Still I feel the Tibetans outside Tibetan have a lot of access to many types of information and knowledge hence they can make much more better decisions. We should take not China's censorship is not for the Tibetans only it affects all the groups and tribes in China.

It is actually quite suspicious that most of the recently Tibetans who self-immolated are from Tibet and also quite young. Why there are no Tibetans from foreign countries such as America and Switzerland kill themselves by self-immolation? Does that mean the Tibetan cause is not important for them?

I guess Tibetan cause is really not important to those who had escaped to other countries because they can clearly see that they have a future in their current countries and they can't see any future if they are in India or Tibet. Why would they want to kill themselves because they are doing quite well now? I believe that is the reason why non of the Tibetans outside of India and Tibet killed themselves for the Tibetan cause.

Only Tibetans who are trapped in Tibet and India had to resort to such extreme measures to escape from their current situation because they could not see any future ahead for them. CTA certainly did not help when they glorified self-immolators as if they are some kind of hero. This is very inappropriate because CTA should discourage their people from killing themselves because that is not the right way of doing it.

You are quite right to say that. The Tibetans outside of Tibet are exposed to more information. They can see what the CTA is doing and also because more people are standing up to question the way the CTA is handling things. The CTA has not delivered what they have promised to the Tibetans for the past 60 years.

The younger generation once asked the CTA about the Dorje Shugden ban before because they are doubtful of how the CTA managed this issue. This is just one of the examples. Knowing the inefficiency of the CTA and the fact that self-immolation will not be able to free Tibet, why would anyone sacrifice their lives? However, it is easier to manipulate the Tibetans in Tibet because they are not very exposed to the information outside. They still regard the Dalai Lama as the god-king. The CTA uses the Dalai Lama's name to encourage the Tibetans in Tibet to self-immolate. The other reason is also that the CTA wants to create disharmony in China, therefore there are more self-immolation cases in Tibet.

Apart from creating disharmony in China, the CTA also uses the self-immolation cases to beg for more free money from the West. All the CTA cares about is the money, they don't really care about the welfare of the Tibetans. They value their lives more than the lives of their people.

A government that encourages and glorifies self-immolation is unbelievable and the leaders of the government must be crazy. Tibetan leadership actually created a guide book for fellow Tibetans on how to burn themselves to death effectively. In the guide book, they even included a guide on how to choose the day and also what slogan to shout when they performing the act.

Tibetan leadership thought they can get away with it by releasing the guide book and delete it quickly not long after that. However, cache pages of the guide have been recorded to expose the true nature of Tibetan leadership. They are evil and selfish government that can only think in a very small frame of mind that can only think about how to benefit themselves.

See the fact that Tibetans who are exposed to the outer world and not only the world that is being shown by Tibetan Buddhism will never self-immolate is a very good tell-tale sign already. Tibetan leadership is brainwashing their own people to kill themselves to generate attention and also a donation for them.

The human rights activists are also hypocrites, they work for the benefits, not out of their righteousness. The CTA is the one who glorifies and prints the guide book to encourage Tibetans to self-immolate, why are they not confronting the CTA but they work with them? I don't believe these activists work for free, they must be paid to do their job.

There might be some small group of activists who are really concerned about the Tibet issue but they don't have enough information to know the CTA is the culprit of the Tibet issue. They never question why there is still no progress for a cause after 60 years of fighting? Something is very wrong here. They never evaluate if the CTA is going to be able to give a better future to the Tibetans.

Why do things like the US? The US wants to be a hero so in the name of freedom, they started the war in Iraq and other middle east countries. After they 'won' the war, what happens? Did they help the people to rebuild their country and their economy? No, they leave behind a big mess. The life of the people is worse than before the war. Do the activists want this to happen to the Tibetans? Do the Tibetans want this? They better think twice.

Yes, it is very sad that the lives of the Tibetans in exile worth nothing to their own government. They are only tools for them to use to get more donation and to make China look bad. For 60 years, they did not do honour their promise which is to fight for Tibet's independent and bring them back to Tibet.

Instead of seizing the opportunity to claim back Tibet when China is still weak, they choose to create schism in their people and create a lot of problems to divert public's attention from what their shortcomings and also failures. Now, China had progressed to be one of the most powerful countries in the world, and they have no chance of getting back Tibet now.

However, China recently had opened its doors to Tibetans in exile to return to Tibet if they choose to and they should treasure the chance very well. There is nothing left for them in India, only sorrow, betrayal and poverty while Tibet is getting prosperous now with the help of China government.
