What the Sogyal affair tells us about anti-Shugden hypocrisy
« on: February 02, 2019, 03:06:07 PM »
This new article on DorjeShugden.com based on Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche's article (Guru and Student in Vajrayana) is a good read to understand 2 things about the Dorje Shugden controversy:

(i) Why Dorje Shugden practitioners cannot simply give up the Protector practice that has been given to them by their teachers, regardless of what pressure is applied on them to do so;

(ii) How utterly hypocritical and wrong it is to cite obedience to the Dalai Lama as reason why everyone must obey the Central Tibetan Leadership's illegal and immoral religious ban.

What is important to note is that the very crucial 'Vajrayana Rule' is not a rule that Dorje Shugden practitioners made up but instead, it is an important law for everyone who regards their practice of Tibetan Buddhism seriously. In short, in persisting with their Dorje Shugden rituals, Shugen Buddhists are not intending to oppose the Dalai Lama or act against the Tibetan people but merely upholding a very vital aspect of Vajrayana. Why practice Tibetan Buddhism if we do not intend to hold honestly and steadfastly to its tenets?

It should be clear from this article that the Dalai Lama and Central Tibetan Adminsitration have wrongly forced many Tibetan Buddhists to commit spiritual suicide and land in Vajra Hell.

Quote:

Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche’s writing may be in relation to Sogyal Rinpoche’s scandals but the Vajrayana rule that he referred to must surely apply to all situations involving a Vajrayana teacher and his students who are on the Vajrayana path. There cannot be one Vajrayana rule for Dorje Shugden practitioners and another one for others. Those who agree with what Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche wrote, and acknowledge that a proper Vajrayana student must not see the teacher with impure perception, should also understand why Vajrayana students who have received the Dorje Shugden practice from their teacher cannot abandon the practice or criticize their teacher without breaking samaya and creating the cause to end up in Vajra Hell.

Both Dzongsar and Sogyal's Rigpa are recipients of Jewish terrorist financier George Soros' money through his Tsadra Foundation.

The same can be said about virtually every single Nyingma and “Rime” “lama” or propagandizer thriving in the West.

It is just natural that accomplices try to cover each other's crimes. They are in the same boat.

And, of course, such “lamas” will always hold a very “pure” view of the dirty money sponsoring them, together with their sponsors.

Such Nyingma and “Rime” “lamas” are de descendants of those very anti-Pabongkha Rinpoche aristrochratic slave-owners and religious extremists posted along the Kham opium route used by the Jewish drug dealer David Sassoon. They hated the holy master Pabongkha Rinpoche because his disciple, the Chinese patriot Liu Wenhui, destroyed their opium entrepôts which they called “monasteries”.

As one can see, the sinister association between Nyingmapas and “Rimepas” on one hand, and Jewish criminal money on the other, is not from today, and is just exemplified by the indecent display of accomplicity between the Soros-sponsored Shugden-haters, Dzongsar and Sogyal.

Thanks Matibhadra,

This goes a long way towards explaining the campaign of defamation against Pabongka Rinpoche. Are there key articles on this subject that you can share?

As for Dzongsar Khyentse, it is suspect that suddenly Guru-Student samaya becomes significant when his pal Sogyal is involved. Rigpa also lost DKR as one of the people steering it in Sogyal's absence and I am wondering if one should read that to mean that DKR is Sogyal's proxy.

DKR also has close dealings with the Chinese and yet not once has the Dalai Lama or CTA referred to him as a Chinese agent. There is an article on this wherein it is said:

In the Khyentse Foundation’s 2012 Annual Report, it was shown that the Foundation’s equity stakes in China amount to 16% of their total investments, just 1% lower than their total investment in the USA (17%). This is in addition to the Khyentse Foundation receiving funding from China and the many occasions Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche remarked that the Chinese will be the future Protectors of Buddhism, not just in terms of spiritual practice but in funding too.

If people can accept Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche's way of Guru devotion practice, then all the more they should understand how important Guru Devotion is to the Dorje Shugden practitioners who received the authentic protector practice from their Gurus. Why is it selective acceptance, especially when DKR is using it in reference to his pal Sogyal who was accused of his power as a Guru and investigations had found him to be guilty of sexually abusing his students? Dorje Shugden practitioners just wish to have their practice in peace and not face false allegations of spirit worshipping or being Chinese spies which is so beyond logical. In fact, it is a stupid connection. After all, DKR receives China sponsorships and why is he not accused of being a Chinese spy? Even the Dalai Lama is receiving sponsorship money from China and he wishes to return to China with Tibet as a province under the governance of China. So are they accusing him as a Chinese spy? CTA lead by President Lobsang Sangay is just so free that they have to look busy for the sake of sponsors. Such is the life of professional beggars!

Dear Sabs,

In my opinion, Dzongsay Khyentse Rinpoche is not the main issue here. My only comment is, as you have already highlighted, when didn't he voice his opinion about how the DS ban creates countless breakages of samaya. Dozngsar Khyentse had over 20 years to say the very same thing about the guru-student relationship in the Vajrayana. I guess his brand of Rimé doesn't cover an interest in the Gelug which is too bad. But I guess no one will accuse him of being sectarian. For that matter, why didn't any lamas whether he is from Gelug, Nyingma, Kagyu, Sakya or Rimé come to the defence of Shugden people as they were being forced to denounce Dorje Shugden and their Shugden-practicing teachers? Why didn't any of these so-called lamas speak up and warn about the dangers of breaking oaths and samaya once a Vajrayana relationship is established with the teacher? Surely the Guru-Student samaya applies equally to all Vajrayana schools.

I can only think they either they could not be bothered because it didn't concern them, or all were too afraid of stepping on the Dalai Lama's toes. Still, one cannot trick karma and so today, via the Sogyal case and Dzongsar Khyentse's letter, we see what heinous crimes the CTA committed and forced so many innocent Shugden-Buddhists to commit.

The CTA's crimes and those who knew the truth but kep quiet are especially dire because they knew the gravity of what was happening and chose self-preservation. How can anyone reach any form of attainments if the basis of their dharma practice is nothing more than to have reinforced the ego?

Exactly, I had been wondering the same thing myself too. Why had all the lamas (with the exception of Geshe Kelsang Tsultrim and H.E. Tsem Rinpoche) kept quiet on the matter of breaking Guru samaya in giving up Dorje Shugden's practice? Regardless of what sect of Tibetan Buddhism that they may be, it is only the practice of compassion to care for another's spiritual path. How would the student gain any attainments with the broken samaya when we are always told the golden or ultimate practice is Guru Devotion? To me, they are just remaining in their comfort zone or simply not caring as it did not affect them. That is to me, very wrong thinking. This illogical Dorje Shugden ban had created controversy beyond the Gelugpa sect. and had created doubts in people's mind about great Gurus who have so much to give in pure lineage teachings and practices. In not speaking up regarding the illegal ban on Dorje Shugden practice, had embolden the Tibetan Leaders to interfere and intervene in the other schools of practices as well. Look at the Sakyas or the Karma Kagyu who due to interference in their recognition process resulted in two Karmapas. And it has gone on to siphoning the sponsorship funds meant for development of their people for their own luxury living, traveling, fattening up their retirement fun, anything but the welfare of their people. I had heard that there are not many scholars that had come out of Anti-Shugden's monasteries. The Dorje Shugden ban had purged many eminent high Gurus. Such a shame!

Hmmm, come to think of it. CTA is like CANCER. When you do not cut off the roots, it will spread to infect everywhere and destroying everything good. Urghhh!

Dear SabS,

I must add that there were some good lamas who were honest, knew the absurdity of the Dorje Shugden ban and did their part to help. One in particular was the Nyingma Lama, Penor Rinpoche. Penor Rinpoche's monastery was somewhere between Sera Monastery and the nearest town which is Byalukuppe. When shopkeepers in Byalukuppe were intimidated by the CTA to refuse service to Dorje Shugden monks especially those from Pomra khangsten of Sera, Penor Rinpoche instructed the stores in his Namdroling Monastery to serve Shugden monks, sell them the much needed provisions and not participate in the marginalisation.

It just goes to show that when you are a good monk it doesn't matter what lineage you are from. Compassion does not discriminate.

It is sad sad that most of the Tibetans are not righteous and they don't really care if things do not affect them. When the CTA imposed the Dorje Shugden ban, the reasons they gave was very unreasonable, they blame a Buddhist deity for their failure to deliver their promise to the Tibetans. It has never been a good idea to mix the religion with politics, but the Tibetans allow that.

For Vajrayana practitioners, they should know very well what Guru devotion and Samaya is. They should know that a student cannot give up the practice that was conferred by the Guru. But no one defended the Dorje Shugden practitioner using this basis. Most probably it is because they don't want to get into trouble with the CTA.

The CTA has a history of being revengeful since the old Tibet time. The Tibetans are selfish in the sense that they will keep quiet if the problem does not affect them. From the ban, we also learned that many Sangha members do not understand the basic of Vajrayaba practice,  ie, Guru devotion and Samaya.

Thank you Vajratruth for this message. It is encouraging that in times of trouble, the real compassion of true practitioner such as Penor Rinpoche shone brightly in the light of Shugden monks. It is a true practice to treat everyone just the same as ourselves, without the segregation of differences. It is sad but most time it is only in times of need that people's true characters will show up.

Penor Rinpoche was definitely a real Buddhist practitioner, he demonstrated the quality of compassion for all sentient beings by extending help to Dorje Shugden practitioners. Buddha taught us to help all sentient beings, if we want to practice to become a Buddha, how can we be selective with the who we want to help? Penor Rinpoche was very compassionate, and it is sad to see there are not many people like him.

From the Dorje Shugden ban, we can see how degenerated it is now. Many Sanghas do not practice guru devotions, they go after fame and money. They want an easy and comfortable life so they abandon their teachers. Some receive money and they tell lies to create schism and disharmony.

The CTA uses the Sanghas to achieve their personal interest. Sanghas are supposed to spread Dharma but the CTA makes them a political puppet to make money for them. Even though there is much suffering created by the ban, we also get to learn something from the ban. The most important thing we learn is guru devotion, which is very fundamental for a Vajrayana student.

It was said that the Dorje Shugden ban is actually a huge test to differentiate true practitioners and non-practitioners. The ban forces the practitioners to choose between their Guru samaya which will be difficult since they will be not agreeing to what His Holiness said. They can also do it in a way where they still can be a Dorje Shugden practitioners.

However, many had abandoned the practice that their guru gave them once they know His Holiness the Dalai lama bans the practice even if it was their other gurus who gave them the holy practice. They revered His Holiness more and override their Guru's instruction just because His Holiness is much more famous and whoever that is seen to be on the same side as His Holiness the Dalai Lama will automatically gain benefits.

Those who persevere through all the humiliation and obstacles must have very strong guru devotion. Imagine that your whole community turned against you just because you practice Dorje Shugden and did nothing wrong. The community that was your friends and neighbor all refuse to talk to you and reject you. Only those who have true guru devotion will be able to survive that and continue to practice the sacred practice that was given by their Guru.

Thanks Matibhadra,
This goes a long way towards explaining the campaign of defamation against Pabongka Rinpoche. Are there key articles on this subject that you can share?

Unfortunately not that I am aware of. Until such articles are written, and don't hold your  breath, one has to rely on the few well-established facts that
  • Liu Wenhui was a devoted student of Pabongkha Rinpoche,
  • Liu Wenhui sytematically destroyed opium outposts in Nyingma-controlled Kham,
  • opium traffic could not happen in Nyingma-controlled Kham without its Nyingma-controllers' connivance
  • Pabongkha Rinpoche is tirelessly accused by Nyingmapas of destroying Nyingma ”monasteries”, which remarkably are never individuated
  • Pabongkha Rinpoche did not have an army or any physical means to “destroy” any “monasteries” or structures protected by the powerful local Nyingma landlords together with their armies, let alone in hostile territory
  • therefore the “destruction of monasteries in Kham”, ascribed to Pabongkha Rinpoche, is actually the destruction of Nyingma-controlled opium trade outposts by his devoted student the Chinese patriotic warriorLiu Wenhui
Add to this the interesting circumstances that
  • the opium traffic routes between India and China, which includes Kham, was controlled by the Bombay-based, drug-trafficking Jewish Sassoon family,
  • that the Jewish Sassoon family of drug dealers is linked by marriage to the also Jewish Rothschild family
  • that the well known Rothschild agent, the Jew George Soros, is himself a massive sponsor, through his Tsadra Foundation, of numerous Nyingma and “rimey” ideologists, characterized by their sectarian, poisonously anti-Gelugpa, anti-Pabongkha Rinpoche, and anti-Shugden vitriol.
Which brings us to the source of the current topic, which is the statement that ”both Dzongsar and Sogyal's Rigpa are recipients of Jewish terrorist financier George Soros' money through his Tsadra Foundation.”

And of course the now disgraced Shugden defamer Tenzin Peljor had to be the devoted student of some Jewish Soros-Tsadra-sponsored “lama”, in case the “rimeypa” Ringu Tulku.

As one can see, the Jewish-Nyingma anti-Pabongkha, anti-Shugden, anti-Gelugpa, anti-China conspiration moves full steam ahead in front of our eyes.

Did I mention that the Jewish Sassoon family of drug dealers and the Jewish Rotschild-owned East India Company was behind the Opium Wars and the destruction of more than one thousand Buddhist temples in Beijing's Summer Palace, built by the Dorje Shugden emanation the Qianlong Emperor?

Not to mention, of course, the instant genocide of hundreds of thousands of mainly Buddhist Japanese people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki with the nuclear devices developed by the Jewish mass-murderer Julius Robert “I became Death, the destroyer of worlds” Oppenheimer, with the help of the Jewish nuke-psycopath Albert Einstein, or the US conducted mass-murdering of millions of Buddhist people in Korea, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodja under, among other Jews, the Jewish mass-murderer Henry Kissinger.

What we are directly watching at is just the recent and current developments of a centuries-old Jewish and Abrahamic war against anything Buddhist, and specifically against anything Gelug or Dorje Shugden -- with the convenient help of the pseudo-Buddhist Nyingma violence and depravity cult, as described in their own “termas”, which nicely fits the Jewish terrorist ideology as graphically described in their own racist mass-murdering manuals known as “Torah” (included in the Christian Old Testament) and “Talmud”.
