PLEASE HELP PRACTITIONERS DISCRIMINATED IN NEPAL

Discrimination on a devotee of Dorje Shugden at the Indian Embassy in Nepal
Please write to Indian Authorities using the information below,
in a language that is simple, clear, and well mannered, avoiding harsh language against DL or TGIE, that would offend the authorities, who, in India, if addressed with proper protocol and manners, are very helpful
Thank you

The following incident took place in Kathmandu, Nepal. On June 3, this year 2010, 14 newcomers from Tibet went to the Indian Embassy to obtain Entry Permits, which allows them to seek asylum in India. All but one of those newcomers received a permit. The asylum seeker whose Entry Permit was refused is Jampa Gyaltsen, 18 years old.
Jampa is a devotee of Dorje Shugden. He came to Nepal to join Serpom monastery and to study Buddhism in India.

Tibetan refugees go to Tibetan Reception Centre, and through this centre they apply for Entry Permit. In view of the consistent discrimination and abuses faced by devotees, there is a strong doubt that Tibetan Refugee Reception Center was behind the rejection. They might have provided a note which triggered the rejection of the permit for Jampa.
It obviously indicates that Tibetan Government in Exile tries to stop Shugden devotees coming to India. They wish Shugden monasteries to dry and vanish. And Tibetan Government in Exile attempted several times to stop Shugden devotees coming to India from Tibet.

We have a growing concern about Tibetan refugees (who are associated with the deity Dorje Shugden) who might face the same fate in future, unless the rejection is revoked and he is issued the permit.

It would be very helpful if each of you wrote to the following authorities with request and prayer to ensure that no Shugden devotee has to experience discrimination because of their religious faith, as well as to provide entry permit to Jampa Gyaltsen.

Thank you for alerting us to this. It is now up on Wisdom Buddha Dorje Shugden blog too: http://wisdombuddhadorjeshugden.blogspot.com/2010/06/help-stop-discrimination-against-dorje.html

More people might be encouraged to write if one or two people demonstrated some sample letters (e.g. TK?!) -- this is often what people do when organizing campaigns. People can then copy and paste and add their own thoughts too, or modify it, but they won't have to start from scratch. As there are many hundreds of Dorje Shugden practitioners who will read this post, this might be a good way to get a lot of them to write in, even if they are very busy or are not otherwise exactly sure how to pitch it.

The sample letters could appear here on the Forum and on the comments section of the blog.

Thanks!

Thank you to both of you so far who have added your letters to the comments of http://wisdombuddhadorjeshugden.blogspot.com/2010/06/help-stop-discrimination-against-dorje.html

Anyone else who writes a letter, whether long or short, please also copy it to the comments here as it gives others good ideas.

Thank you.

This is just one nation, there are many more people in different countries are ostracised and discriminated just because they practise Dorje Shugden. Where is the freedom of religion?? Why must only Dorje Shugden practitioners be excluded from the society? We must do whatever we can to help to lift the ban faster, families and friends have been separated and this has to stop.
