Trijang Rinpoche confers Dorje Shugden initiation in Mongolia

Trijang Rinpoche’s visit to Mongolia was auspiciously punctuated by the fact that, for the first time during this present incarnation, His Holiness gave Dorje Shugden sogtae (initiation) and this event is taken to be extremely significant because it means that Rinpoche is resuming what he had been doing in his previous life – spreading the holy practice of Dorje Shugden to hundreds and thousands. This is indeed very auspiciously momentous, and it proves beyond doubt that this is the true incarnation of Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche !

According to Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, “People who have this Shugden initiation and people who practice Dorje Shugden, those people have very great, successful meditation and practice. Even worldly measures, like worldly activities and business and job; everything becomes very successful.”

Kyabje Zong Rinpoche also said “After receiving this Dorje Shugden initiation, you have to do puja once a month. Also, it is necessary to follow the commitment, and you have to make a commitment with the lineage and with the order.

So that means, for example you [might] receive teachings from different traditions but mainly, your practice, your focus, your energy [should be put] into this lineage, the Gelugpa lineage.”

We rejoice at this wonderful news of Trijang Rinpoche giving his first Dorje Shugden initiation in this life, and without question there will definitely be more and the whole world is waiting in great anticipation!

As we all know, His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche is no ordinary being, and in fact, His Holiness has been anything but ordinary. Trijang Rinpoche has been reincarnating in a successively celebrated line of Teachers, Masters, Mahasiddhas and Yogis since the time of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni.

In each of his rebirths, one glorious life after another, Trijang Rinpoche tirelessly worked for the benefit of others. For someone as precious, unique and valuable as Trijang Rinpoche, the longevity of his life is very important. The longer he lives, the longer he remains, the more good works he will manifest and in that way the more sentient beings and denizens of this planet as well as other planets and dimensions will benefit.

In late 2011 His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche made a long awaited and highly anticipated historic visit to Mongolia, and thousands of people and devotees turned up to receive the blessings of this eminent Master. Rinpoche gave speeches, teachings and blessings in the Amarbayasgalant Monastery in Mongolia.

Many people from India, Nepal, Tibet, Taiwan, USA, Switzerland, and many parts of Mongolia were present to meet His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche.
