After the demonstrations in Oslo, Norway, the International Shugden Community (ISC) and a group of Tibetans made their way to Rotterdam where the Dalai Lama was scheduled to visit next. There, the group once again staged a peaceful demonstration calling upon the Dalai Lama to grant freedom of religion and to lift the ban on Dorje Shugden.
Unlike the previous demonstration in Oslo which proceed without incident, the peaceful protestors in Rotterdam were greeted by angry Tibetans, who cursed and spat in their direction.
