American police break up bouts of violence against protestors by Dalai Lama supporters asking for religious freedom. Tibetans paid by the CTA to incite opposition in order to counter the peaceful protests of the Shugden worshippers. The kindly police officer shouts “What’s this suppose to be? I’m not playing knock it off.” It was only with the interception of the police could the violent Dalai Lama supporters stopped.
His Holiness Dalai Lama recently began a teaching tour of North America (October 21st-November 4th, 2014) as part of his endeavor to promote peace, love and compassion encapsulated at the core of Buddhist teaching. But did his talks have those results? The tour led His Holiness to Vancouver, Birmingham, Boston and New York City, where lawful protests against the Dorje Shugden ban took place outside the teaching venues. During these peaceful protests by people asking for the ban against Shugden to be lifted, bouts of violence erupted yet again between protesters airing their right of freedom of speech and supporters of the ban, which infringes on everyone’s indelible right to religious freedom.
Violence is turning out to be a common occurrence at these protests, as the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) continues to incite Tibetans who attend His Holiness’ teachings to vehemently adhere to policies of religious discrimination against the lawfully present and peaceful protestors. It has come to light that the CTA are themselves supporting these violent outbursts by paying pro-CTA supporters to attend these events. The CTA’s policies betray a complete lack of democratic ideology and is reminiscent of a backward government bent on suppressing its own people, to secure its power upon the religious sphere.
Rather than transforming their minds after attending His Holiness’ teachings on compassion and kindness, the perpetrators of violence show their vulgarity by attacking and making rude hand gestures towards protestors in support of the CTA. Why is the Dalai Lama not asking his followers to refrain from vulgarity, violence and public disorderly conduct? As long as the discriminatory ban against Shugden remains intact, both the protests and the violence against protestors are set to continue, dividing practitioners of the same lineage and increasing in intensity. When the CTA or Tibetan Leadership state that this ban creates no discrimination or division within the Tibetan community, this starkly contrasts what can be clearly seen at these protests. The ban has created a divide within the Tibetan community, one that is marred by outright discrimination, violence and vulgarity. The divide within the Tibetan community is worsening and the Dalai Lama can stop this with a single statement, that the ban is lifted. Freedom to worship without discrimination restored.
We appeal to those who have attended the teachings, and will attend teachings in the future to take the precious Buddhist teachings to heart and not follow the politically motivated and archaic rule of the CTA, but to practice compassion and kindness. Write in to the Central Tibetan Administration for the illegal ban against Dorje Shugden to be lifted now.
Dalai Lama supporters immediately after teachings by Dalai Lama on compassion, love and tolerance show clearly nothing has been applied. It is up to the Dalai Lama to make this stop. At every talk, symposium and event he can easily tell his followers that all Shugden people should not be discriminated against. Furthermore he can say the ban is over and let there not be any shred of violence towards any religious denomination. All Tibetans should live in peace with each other and their neighbors. The Dalai Lama can easily reiterate this point strongly to his followers. What is stopping him to do so?
Why would Dalai Lama supporters show their support with vulgarities? Is this what is taught in the teachings they just attended?
The Dalai Lama can easily stop all the violence and anger towards Dorje Shugden followers by saying the ban is lifted and we are all equal.
Until the illegal ban bringing untold sufferings to four million Dorje Shugden practitioners is lifted by the Tibetan Leadership, the peaceful protests will continue.
We appeal to everyone to write to Human Rights organizations, your congressman, your leaders both state and federal, to the Dalai Lama and Indian Governments for this ban to come to an end. Everyone should be able to worship as they like without discrimination in the 21st century.
UPDATE: 2ND NOVEMBER 2014 – MORE VULGARITIES FROM DALAI LAMA’S SUPPORTERS
NYC – November 2nd, 2014.
Another vulgar and rude Tibetan woman who supports Dalai Lama’s ban. She have just attended a teaching by the Dalai Lama, whom taught on compassion, love and acceptance. But when she sees the Tibetan protestors against the unjust ban against Shugden, she starts screaming rude vulgarities at the protestors and even started spitting.
This is the kind of behaviour Tibetan leadership encourages. How can a person attend a Dharma teaching by Dalai Lama and act in such manner immediately afterwards? The Tibetans who remained loyal to the practice of Dorje Shugden are subjected to this type of insults and vulgarities even in NYC, the home of the brave and land of the free.
Imagine the lives of Dorje Shugden practitioners living in India and Nepal. Dorje Shugden practitioners are subjected to abuse, violence, hatred and threats constantly ever since the ban started in 1996. This is the kind of behaviour encouraged by CTA and they never speak up against this type of bad behaviour. You will find no real attempt to curb this type of attitude by the Tibetan leadership, and yet they claim that everyone have a choice and there is no ban. There is most definitely a ban.
The Tibetan woman shouts, “Ghost, ghost, you guys are blind and you will go blind. You all eat Chinese money and it still not enough. You guys are beggers!”

The Dalai Lama supporters definitely did not show any form of basic manners, not to mention understanding and applying the teachings of peace, love and compassion. None of his supporters show any qualities of that. It is very ironic that these supporters obviously paid by the CTA supposedly to make a scene to show the “rudeness and violent” sides of the Dorje Shugden practitioners, but in turn show their true babaric colour!

The Dalai Lama keeps visiting Australia to talk about ethics, transformation, compassion etc. and we have had to purchase pricey tickets to attend but as I can see in the video above and many other videos, perhaps what he says is not being practiced.
Perhaps he should be addressing these unruly supporters about human rights and non-violence since he is the one who has also won the Nobel Peace Prize sometime ago. G’day everyone, this is a wonderful blog and I thank all the contributors.

Why has the situation escalated to this stage ? It is very disgraceful for the whole world to witness this gross division between groups in Tibetan Buddhism. The public may ask – “doesn’t Buddhism promote Peace and Harmony ?” In fact these topics are often discussed in the Dalai Lama’s tours around the world – to promote peace, love and compassion. Why then are the Buddhists fighting and swearing amongst themselves ? Shouldn’t they show a good example to the world on how they can be from different sect but still care for each other – the practice of EQUANIMITY !
I appeal to the CTA, to the HHDL, to all Tibetan Buddhists, please close ranks and work together in harmony to benefit all sentient beings !
To ds.com, thank you for continuing to report on such crucial events. Although it is not the most pleasant news to showcase, nevertheless it is the truth of the current situation within the Tibetan Buddhism community. It is embarasing and totally unproductive for anyone to hurt others over a slight disagreement on a religious practice. The authorities have to let down their ego and make positive decisions that will take away the sufferings of those practicing DS.

If we love our leaders, religious leaders and gurus, we should show with good virtue actions; definitely the action is not including showing bad fingers sign, excel violence towards those with different belief with us.
We show love by showing our good quality, being a good person. I doubt the love or respect for those yield violence publicly towards people from different camps, belief or stand.
This is not a right from any angle or any philosophy of life. Thank you.

I wonder what does it feel inside when listening to Dalai Lama teaching, because these Tibetan came out even more angry and full of hatred, which is total opposite of what their Lama is promoting. I hope the human rights is watching this, the attacks and persecution is real, and now they even dare to attack the Wested Shugdenpa, imagine those in India who are practicing in fear!!
Dear Admin, thank you for reporting this, i hope you will continue to report what is happening to Shugdenpa and also more news on our High Lama, your work is very much needed to bring the ban down.

The Dalai Lama can easily in one short speech tell the Tibetans to stop acting like this. It is a extremely bad image. He tells the whole world to be peaceful, practice tolerance and kindness, so why not his own Tibetan people. He teaches people to accept each other no matter what color, creed, religion and sexual orientation they are so WHY NOT INCLUDE THE DORJE SHUGDEN PRACTITIONERS? The major news media has seen with their own eyes how Shugden practitioners are treated and one of the reporters from New York Post even shed a tear today at the protests in New York Nov 11, 2014. It’s about time media highlight this unjust ban and bias against four million followers of Dorje Shugden. Everyone has the right to their religion without being cursed at, spat upon and called vulgarities. The protests will continue and the news will spread. We wish Dalai Lama to bring an end to this with one speech and written declaration.

We living in time where the rule of the past not hold any more. Everywhere around the world, civil movement doesn’t matter the topic of demonstration, are targeting by troublemaker agent to create schism inside and/or bring discredit on the group by violent action.
We should be all aware of the way they work, be able to reconize them, you will meet them in forum,in demonstration, in any social mouvment, you will reconize them mostly by them endless insults, aggressivity, provocative behavior, they have a amazing ability to create trouble. It’s them job, they are pay for provoking, to bring you to say or do something that they will use to discredit you or the cause of the movement that you are involve. I’m from Canada and those thing was be seen here at G20, where police undercover had infiltrated protester and acting as provocative of authority. http://youtu.be/DCRsj06wT64 You could see a report on that ) those technic are use everywhere around the world to manipulate public opinion, those technic are involve in Arab spring, in maple spring, in Ukraine. Gouvernements fall undercover of troublemaker agent, they using us against us. When you recognize them for what they are, than they losing them power to manipulate.
If the one you have front of you doesn’t have the wisdom and comment sens you should have for two.

From this incident happened to Shugden practisioners, we could see the crowd behavior as emotional, and intellectually weak. And crowd experienced certain degree of de-individuation by a lowering of accountability, resulting from a degree of anonymity, group immersion, and reduced identifiability & responsibility; and action involved are always extreme.
What I curious is the factors make the crowd adhere to societal norms, and doing something violence which they might not be doing individually? CTA that is strongly control and manipulate the Tibetan people, and people afraid to not to conform to? They take HH Dalai Lama as someone can rule their life, including what to love what to hate?

We see nothing but ill manners, vulgarities and extreme negative behaviours of these Tibetans. So shameful! Tibetan Buddhism suffers due to these ignorant individuals! Weren’t these Tibetans aware that the World is watching their every action? It severely reflect their upbringings. Had Dalai Lama taught them these? Had their kind spiritual teachers taught them these? Had their kind parents taught them these?
Dalai Lama, please reprimand your followers for their misbehaviours. Your followers as listed here in this article do not even practise basic human manners let alone Buddhism! No point preaching peace, love and compassion everywhere around the world if the people who attended your talk do not practise them!
The ban must be lifted immediately Dalai Lama, as more and more of your followers are misbehaving. This is very damaging to Tibetan Buddhism.

Everywhere the Dalai Lama goes, stormy and violent scenes seem to follow him. What I can’t understand is why HH Dalai Lama turns a blind eye to all this. The media reports are more direct now; the media now also talks about Shugden and the ostracism and discrinmination of Shugden followers by the Dalai Lama, CTA and followers.
It’s just so unbelievable that inside, HH Dalai Lama is teaching and urging Tolerance and Compassion, and outside, his followers are showing gross intolerance and belligerence towards protestors who are peacefully protesting the ban and the discrimination and the atrocities against Shugden practitioners. What must the world be thinking about us Buddhists? Behaving like this on foreign soil? Didn’t Lord Buddha teach peace, love and compassion?.
Yet, peace is but a breath away. If only the Dalai Lama could just say -”Lift the ban! End the violence! Let there be peace!.

H.H.Dalai Lama’S supporters are definitely not applying Dalai Lama teachings on compassion, kindness and acceptance by behaving in a rude and unruly behavior right after attending a Dharma teaching by Dalai Lama. Violence is turning out to be a common occurrence where ever Dalai Lama tours around the world.
Why H.H.Dalai Lama not requesting his followers to refrain from vulgarity, violence and public disorderly conduct remains unanswered!
May all Buddha Dorje Shugden practitioners be blessed and the ban be lifted!

Thank you DS.com for the comprehensive news. I agree with what you write. Why does His Holiness give a deaf ear to the cries of the protesters? He always talk about peace, dialogue and unity among human race. But where is his action. These protesters are sending a message to him and he pretends he doesn’t hear? Wow, I amazed by his action. Thank you also to all the non Tibetan protesters who have spent their precious time, energy and their own money to support us and bring light to our suffering. We greatly appreciate your effort. Thank you very much.

Pure evidence of the result of a ban; where the Gelug Tibetan Buddhist community is split because of extreme thinking. Buddhism is the practise of tolerance, acceptance, respect, compassion and kindness but what the Dalai Lama has created is far from that. It is sad to see practising Buddhists treating each other the way Dorje Shugden devotees and Anti Dorje Shugden people do. If you’re talking about the way anti-ds people are treating ds practitioners, they should also be doing the same towards people of other religious faith and believes. But they do this solely to Dorje Shugden practitioners..why? It is unfair.
It is nice to see the protest and see Shugdenpas unite to speak on behalf of the many who cant, but it is so sad to see how Dalai Lama and CTA supporters react to the peaceful protests, and how such vulgarities and actions of his supporters are acceptable to His Holiness, knowing what he has created as a result of the ban.

Am rather embarrassed to find out that Buddhists practitioners have such vulgar behavior. And it’s saddening to know the behavior is towards others of the same teachings but different practices. I guess these people are very much blinded by their anger that they no longer have a clear mind to handle themselves.

The teaching of Dalai Lama has not been practical looking from the action of his followers and the government. Funny thing is that why Dalai Lama didn’t educate his followers? Why he allow his followers behave in such?
Look like vulgar and violence is the practice of the followers! It’s really inappropriate as Dalai Lama is the symbol of Buddhist practice and what the followers showing is totally opposite….how to prove and convince people his teaching is effective where the followers is doing the opposite?
Looking at the peace protest from Lord Shugden practitioners really show the unity and the good moral of showing disagreement. What important even though we have things that we disagree but we show in a respectful manner and did not against our practice and ethic.

This so ridiculous usually after or before Dharma talk at least we will behave more kinder than usual how can this people after attending the teaching still act so violence towards people even they do not agree with DS practice. His Holiness has teaching about compassion and kindness how come his fellowers did not do what he said very sad.

This is ridiculous! I was at all the teachings this past weekend and these fights and scuffles that are videoed here are bogus. First off, people were not wearing coats and hats as it was near 70degrees. Additionally, I live in NY and this location is not near the Beacon and must have been an old video since this building has completed construction.
Both groups were ridiculous and both, for being Buddhist, were not peaceful or tolerant. Although I am sure this post will be censored and not posted, I strongly believe that both sides are wrong in these protests and the point being made by either side is lost by due to the misbehavior of certain individuals.

I agree with Glen. This is completely false. These protesters are NOT part of New Kadampa Tradition. In fact, NKT is appalled at these protesters actions. After a dharma talk, they act with the basest of emotion in reliance on the 3 poisons. Absolutely ridiculous. They heard a dharma talk, then proceed to be a nasty and showcase all their violent and rude behaviour. Like the contaminated pot described in the lamrim, a pot that is laced with poison when you put food into this pot, when you eat this food you will be poisoned. NO two ways about , no matter how delicious the food.

@Glen and Geshe Gyletsen. It looks like everyone is wasting their time on protesting, whether for or against, based on your claims. If that is truly the intention of HHDL and the CTA and non Shugdenpas, then lift all restrictions. Allow everyone the complete freedom to choose their practice. Mahatma Gandhi would have agreed with this freedom. No division or class or caste should be created, no pro-Dalai Lama or non. Buddha left behind a precious set of instructions to create peace, harmony and happiness. Hence, it is not the rights of anyone to tell the other they should not practice something they believe is a teaching of the Buddha ! With all due respect, time is precious, life is impermanent, we should all focus on our practice in order to gain ENLIGHTMENT for the benefit of others.

@ronykhan — I agree — everyone has a right. Therefore, believe in what you want to believe in and let others believe in what they believe in. If people do not wish to practice DS, then that is their right — just as His Holiness has said that if you DO wish to practice DS, then you have the right, but just not under his guidance. Practice whatever makes you happy — and let others do the same without spreading hateful and angry lies. This is what this website and the inauthentic DS practitioners have done. NKT has nothing to do what these DS are doing — it’s an entirely different “clan” of angry and hateful people who don’t know the meaning of peace, protest or authenticity. The NKT have made a very clear statement that they DO NOT agree with what these DS practitioners are doing. The people who blindly and ignorantly believe what these DS practitioners say are only encouraging this negative cycle.

As always thank you DS.com for such a complete, honest and truthful coverage on the way the supporters of the Dalai Lama behave.
Namo Guru Beh, definitely the supporters are following the instructions of the Dalai Lama and his authority CTA. It is abhorring how such behaviour can manifest after teaching of love, kindness and compassion by the Dalai Lama by His supporters.
The protest against the BAN and the response from Dalai Lama’s followers is a true reflection of how the division and sufferings are manifesting for the worshippers of Dorje Shugden. Shugdenpas take peaceful and legal ways to express their sufferings and the followers of Dalai Lama take abusive methods.
Let all of us worshippers of Dorje Shugden be firm in our believe and make Buddhism a religion for the brave and courageous.
Most of all thank you Ds.com for always telling us the Ultimate truth to every situation. Knowledge enhances our faith as Shugdenpas are sharp disciples of a Brave and loving Protector.

Lies! Lies! Lies!!! All Lies!! This is NOT the truth!! Have the DS cult given you some kool-aide? This is a cult! His Holiness has clearly said that if you want to worship DS, then do it….but don’t take vows or refuge or teachings from him. So what is your problem and why do DS worshipers say they have no religious freedom? If His Holiness is SOOOO evil, then leave him alone and get on with your life and DS worshiping! Thanks for revealing all these. I really appreciate this website that putting all these information in an organized way. It’s so true and it opens up our eyes to see what is truly happening in the reality.
It’s not gonna be long for Dalai Lama who speak and act differently, it’s not convincing at all when we see how Dalai Lama’s followers do such a vulgar actions toward others. It clearly shows that Dalai Lama is just something to worship on the altar, but not to learn the Dharma internally.

Looking at what is happening at every venue where HH Dalai Lama is teaching in his latest round of North American cities, we see the inevitable display of violence outside – together with vulgarities and inane profanities shouted at peaceful and lawful protestors, coupled with threats and vulgar offensive hand gestures . These peaceful protestors are there to appeal to HH Dalai Lama to lift the ban, so that all the disharmony, the schism within the Tibetan community-in-exile and the suffering of the millions of Shugden practitioners – practicing Shugden out of pure Guru Devotion, will end. These protestors have tried every avenue to negotiate peacefully with the Dalai Lama, but have been unsuccessful. Hence these peaceful protests.
What must puzzle people looking at these scenes, is how people can go in and listen to Dalai Lama’s talk on peace, love and compassion(a talk which is geared towards transforming the minds of listeners), and then come out and create violence, and attacking also with vulgar profanities and equally vulgar hand and body gestures. It’s like a gang of brigands and ruffians being let loose on the protestors. Then to learn that these people are being paid by CTA!
Furthermore, there are protestors among the ISC who are Tibetans who have personally suffered unbearable atrocities in the hands of the Tibetan leadership because of the ban. They are there because the protest gives them a platform to express their heartfelt appeal for the ban to be lifted.
Please lift the ban Dalai Lama that all may practice the pure lineage of Je Tsongkhapa’s teachings freely and fearlessly.

First of all, His Holiness has been a world icon for peace, love and goodness for decades. So, why is it even necessary to pay people to display support to His Holinesss against the peaceful Dorje Shugden protestors? Could it be because the conflicting and inconsistent actions of His Holiness and the CTA is creating cause for people to loose faith in his teachings? Besides the possibility of causing this dilemma, is this a good way of using sponsor money: paying Tibetans to show vulgarity and crass behavior in public? I am not convinced sincere Dharma practitioners wants their generosity to be used to engage people to stick out their middle fingers that reflects poorly on His Holiness and the Dharma.
The loud and uncontrolled display of aggression is a form of inability to control the actions of the body, speech and mind. How is it possible that people who just attended the teachings of the manifestation of Avalokiteshvara behave this way? We often say that the speech of powerful and highly attained masters are able to transform the minds of his or her student due to the accumulated power of his and her virtuous actions over time. Would this mean that the teachings of His Holiness is loosing its impact?
It would be best that Dalai Lama supporters think before they act. As Buddhists, we must believe in the law of Karma and if they do not care for themselves, at least consider the negative impact their actions can directly cause the Dalai Lama and the Dharma.

It’s odd to read here people pretending like these protests did not exist. This is like when the virtual protests happened and Robert Thurman says my account is paid by China and all this sort of crazy nonsense. One thing I have noticed about Dalai Lama’s followers is that they DO follow their guru’s example, rather than his words, and therefore they do tend to lie almost non-stop with anything regarding Dorje Shugden. Maybe it’s too much Nechung intereference? I mean, why rely on on a spirit like Nechung when you could go for refuge to a perfectly nice Wisdom Buddha like Dorje Shugden? Just saying….

Despite of the Dalai Lama continuing tirelessly to promote love, peace & compassion in his teaching as seen in this tour around north america, it is sad to see that a handful of his followers are still behaving violently with rudeness & vulgarity towards the peaceful DS protestors. Not only they have broken their samaya with their guru & disparage the reputation & symbolism (compassion) of what the Dalai Lama represent, they have also collected heavy negative karma by their negative actions.
All these would not have happen if there is no ban on Dorje Shugden practice. Therefore for the sake of those who are continuing to commit more negative actions due to their ignorance & those who are suffering for the truth, I humbly appeal to the CTA to stop instigating disharmony among your own people as they already lost their home land, family members & friends in Tibet.
If you want to unite the Tibetan people & gather their support, it is only logical that there is harmony, love & peace in the Tibetan community. To do this, please stop all the discriminations & the illegal ban on Dorje Shugden practice immediately.

It is really sad that the Dalai Lama’s teachings obviously have no effect on his followers/students. They have not even bothers to apply an iota of his teachings into their actions when immediately after listening his teaching session, they could be so crude and offensive. I wonder how the Dalai Lama feels knowing all this is going on… What more his government, CTA is paying for all this vulgarity against Shugden practitioners who were protesting against the ban and seeking religious freedom. CTA who should be a good reflection of the Dalai Lama and his teachings are totally contradictory. Sad indeed and all those negative karma collected!

These supporters are not disciples of the Dalai Lama nor are they practitioners of Buddhism. They are merely groupies of a celebrity i.e. the Dalai Lama. These groupies are so high on their addiction that they cannot see what is right or wrong or what was taught.
Even when the Dalai Lama came out and say the Dorje Shugden cannot harm him, these groupies are still condemning all those who practices Dorje Shugden. Even when the Dalai Lama says anyone can practice and where these official Dorje Shugden monasteries are, the groupies are still shouting ‘harming and cannot practice’.
They cannot hear anyone anymore, not even the Dalai Lama. If they cannot even hear the Dalai Lama’s new message as it is not what these people want to hear, how can they represent the Dalai Lama? Surely, they should listen to the Dalai Lama and not turn a deaf ear?
Can 20 years of habituation be so ingrained that it is so difficult for them to listen to their idol speak what they don’t want to hear?
Dalai Lama should set things right

Dear Dalai Lama,
Since you started the cruel ban against the 350 year Dorje Shugden practice, how has it benefit your Tibetan society and Buddhism in the world? Things have become worse and most educated Tibetans can see this. They don’t speak out not because they don’t see your ban as wrong, but you instill fear in them and not respect. It is like fear of a dictator. I am sorry to say so. Everyone is divided. There is no harmony. Before your ban there was more harmony and unity.
By enacting the ban, you split the monasteries, split so many families, split regions in Tibet apart, split your disciples from you, split your own gurus from you, split Tibetan Buddhism apart. You have created so much disharmony.
It is not democratic what you have done to ban a religion within your community. You always talk of tolerance and acceptance and democracy and yet you do not accept and tolerate something different from your beliefs. When people practice Dorje Shugden you ostracize them, ban them from seeing you, ban them from using Tibetan facilities. You know you have done that. There are videos that capture your speech and prove this point. You even had people expelled from monasteries just because they practice Dorje Shugden. Some of the monks you expelled have been in the monastery for over 40 years. Many older monks shed tears because of this.
Many young educated Tibetans lost confidence in you as they saw the damage the Dorje Shugden ban created and they lose hope. Many have become free thinkers. They reject what you have done. So many people in the west left Buddhism because of the confusion you created with this ban against Dorje Shugden which is immoral.
You could of had millions of people who practice Dorje Shugden to support, love and follow you, but you scared them away. They are hurt and very disappointed. They loved you and respected you deeply before the ban. It has been 60 years and you have failed to get Tibet back. Your biggest failure is not getting Tibet back after 57 years in exile. Now you are begging China to allow you to return to Tibet to the disappointment of thousands of people who fought for a free Tibet believing in you. So many self-immolated for a free Tibet and now you want Tibet to be a part of China with no referendum from Tibetans. Just like a dictator, you decide on your own. It was your government and you that lost Tibet in the first place. Your policies and style of doing things do not benefit Tibet and Buddhism. You have been the sole ruler of Tibet your whole life and you still have not gotten our country of Tibet back for us. Our families and us are separated. Yet you create more pain by creating a ban to further divide people. Please have compassion.
No other Buddhist leader has banned or condemned any religion except for you. It looks very bad. You are a Nobel laureate and this is not fitting of a laureate. You should unite people and not separate them by religious differences.
You said Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi did not do right to the Rohingya people in Myanmar due to religious differences, but you are doing the same thing to the Shugden Buddhists within your own society. There is a parallel in this. You separate the Shugden Buddhists from the others in Tibetan society.
You have lost so many people who would have loved and supported you. You have lost so much support around the world. The Shugden Buddhists who love you number in the millions. When you are fast losing support from governments and private people, it will not do you well to lose more.
After you are passed away in the future, the rift you created between the Dorje Shugden and non-Dorje Shugden people will remain for a while and that will be your legacy. Disharmony. You will be remembered for this. Not as a hero but a disharmony creator.
Dorje Shugden will spread and further grow, but you will be no more as you are a human. No one wishes you bad and in fact we hope you have a long and healthy life, but we have lost so much hope and have so much despair because of you. All the hundreds of Dorje Shugden lamas, tulkus and geshes are maturing and there are hundreds of Dorje Shugden monasteries in Tibet who will not give up Dorje Shugden. You have made a mistake. These hundreds of teachers and teachers to be will spread Dorje Shugden further in the future.
The gurus that gave us Dorje Shugden as a spiritual practice and you have called these holy gurus wrong and they are mistaken in giving us Dorje Shugden. How can you insult our gurus whom we respect so much? If they can be wrong, then you can be wrong. Then all gurus can be wrong. So no one needs to listen to any guru? You have created this trend. It is not healthy. Your own gurus practiced Dorje Shugden their whole lives. Your own gurus were exemplary and highly learned.
Dalai Lama you have created so much pain with this ban against so many people due to religion. You are ageing fast. Are you going to do anything about it or stay stubborn, hard and un-moving. You show a smile and preach peace and harmony wherever you go. But will you do the same to your own people? Please rectify the wrong you have done. Please before it is too late. You can create harmony again or you can pass away in the future with this legacy of peace. May you live long and think carefully and admit what was a mistake in having this unethical ban against Dorje Shugden religion.
