In the following articles, UK-based independent journalist Indy Hack uncovers how the Tibetan leadership engaged Michael Jäckel (aka Tenzin Peljor) to create a string of propaganda campaigns to justify their persecution of Dorje Shugden practitioners. Indy Hack provides a detailed account of Jäckel’s approach to demonizing Shugden Buddhists, which seems to come straight out of a Stasi training book.
Following Indy Hack’s exposé, the Tibetan leadership’s house of cards built by Jäckel begins to fall apart. This is a strange tale that explains to some extent why the Tibetan cause has failed, especially given the fact that the Tibetan leadership focuses more on its smear campaign than working towards freedom for the Tibetans in exile. The Holy Spy
Unmasking a CTA Intelligence Officer
16th March 2015
Initially it may seem a ludicrous concept to associate the Dalai Lama with spying, however that’s only because of the carefully crafted media persona most people assume he lives up to.
From 1959-1974 the Dalai Lama received $180,000 a year from the CIA just for his own personal expenditure. They trained and armed resistance fighters and used the Dalai Lama extensively to promote anti-communist propaganda.
Throughout the entire history of the Dalai Lama in exile you will find the fingerprints of the US intelligence community. Bearing in mind the direct and indirect involvement of the CIA with all aspects of the exile leadership it is unsurprising then that the Dalai Lama uses spies in much the same way other leaders do.
Unmasking a CTA Spy
For those of us who grew up in the 80′s the concept of a spy is very much like James Bond, a tough guy risking his life behind enemy lines to get secrets for his government. Dramatic, daring, dangerous and completely unrelated to reality.
Since June 2013 the world’s concept of spying was irrevocably changed by Edward Snowden when he chose to reveal exactly how far and wide the reach of the US intelligence community was. Rather than tales of derring-do it was more a case of being geeky, wearing glasses and sitting behind a computer screen. The spy was actually an Intelligence Officer, James Bond was James Bland.
In February 2014 Snowden released to the media a file which has an incredible bearing on the Dalai Lama controversy. It was a Power-Point presentation from the UK Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) entitled, “The Art of Deception: Training for Online Covert Operations.“
For those who have been living in a cave or shipwrecked on an island for the past few years GCHQ is the UK’s intelligence and security organisation responsible for spying on communications. The document Snowden released was part of a training course for GCHQ’s Joint Threat Research Intelligence Group (JTRIG). It’s function was to train intelligence officers how to control and manipulate online resources to affect a target.
In an article for The Intercept entitled, “How Covert Agents Infiltrate the Internet to Manipulate, Deceive and Destroy Reputations“, Glenn Greenwald wrote:
“Among the core self-identified purposes of JTRIG are two tactics: (1) to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable.
“To see how extremist these programs are, just consider the tactics they boast of using to achieve those ends: “false flag operations” (posting material to the internet and falsely attributing it to someone else), fake victim blog posts (pretending to be a victim of the individual whose reputation they want to destroy), and posting “negative information” on various forums.”
If we compare the GCHQ training with the activities of Tenzin Peljor it becomes quite apparent that there are some alarming similarities. For the purposes of comparison it is easier to look at both tactics separately.
(1) Injecting False Material onto the Internet
In 2006 Michael Jäckel visited Dharamsala, India, the home of the Central Tibetan Authority (CTA) and its leader, the Dalai Lama. He claims he was ordained as a Buddhist monk and received the name Tenzin Peljor. He then began his main work for the CTA as an intelligence officer tasked with discrediting the Dorje Shugden protest movement.
For the purposes of clarity I will refer to Tenzin Peljor throughout the remainder of this article by his legal name, Michael Jäckel, as I remain unsure whether he genuinely is a Buddhist monk, or whether this is a cover he has been given by the CTA.
As explained in previous articles for someone with a vow against lying Mr Jäckel has been caught lying with a shocking freqency already. In addition, as a footnote to his online biography he claims to have no affiliation to any specific Buddhist tradition stating, “I am just a Buddhist monk in the monastic order of the Buddha“, which seems somewhat vague.
The process of undermining or discrediting protest movements is quite widespread amongst the intelligence community. For instance in East Germany, where Michael grew up, the Stasi would routinely engage in such operations against groups who promoted ideologies that were opposed to the state.
Such operations fell under directive 1/76 of the Ministry of State Security and were referred to as Zersetzung. One commentator referred to the similarities between the GCHQ briefing document and the Zersetzung:
Having grown up in East Germany and served in its armed forces for nearly two and a half years these methods would not have been unfamiliar to Mr Jäckel. In fact when he first contacted the religious website, Dialogue Ireland, to try and exert some influence over their articles about the New Kadampa Tradition he stated, “I am much interested into the dynamics of Nazi, Stasi, dictatorship, totalitarian systems“.
Yet when they asked him to explain his background in relation to these issues he wrote, “I appreciate your interest in the Stasi / Nazi / East German dictator ship issue. I am interested in these too and I would be happy to meet you and to discuss this. But I don’t seek a public discussion about my background or person.“
Back to 2006
Skipping back to 2006, after he received his ‘ordination name’ Michael then proceeded to set about his main work for the CTA, undermining the Dorje Shugden protest movement by using the Zersetzung methods in a more up to date context.
Since the main organisation supporting the protests was the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) the CTA’s approach was to try and discredit it. Since 1996 they had been trying to present the NKT as a rogue tradition, a dangerous cult which was not to be trusted.
In 2006 Michael began to work on the NKT’s Wikipedia entries, injecting false information and trying to promote the CTA’s agenda. As previously explained his attempts were quite unsophisticated and drew the attention of various Wikipedia editors who raised concerns about the accuracy of his information.
In 2008 Michael began to develop his own websites after proclaiming to the members of his anti-NKT ‘survivors’ group, “maybe we use the power of the many people here and the motivation to protect others (giving fearlessness) by setting up 1-2 websites.“
In order to maintain a pretense that the websites were not solely directed at discrediting the NKT he included various academic articles and some limited criticism of other traditions of Buddhism. Despite this, all of his websites shared the main theme of being critical of the NKT and seeking to discredit them in line with the CTA agenda to which he was working.
Whatever the pretense it is very clear from the above quote that Michael’s main intention behind establishing his websites was to discredit the NKT.
The advantage of using his own websites rather than Wikipedia was that he could strive for credibility whilst being able to control criticism of his information. In this respect he was fulfilling the intelligence officers role as described by GCHQ, “to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets“.
(2) Manipulating Online Discourse
Whereas the first aspect of the GCHQ briefing document is fairly straightforward it is the second aspect which is the most disturbing, and as Glenn Greenwald says, “extremist“.
Within strand two of the GCHQ document subtitled, “Influence and Information Operations“, they state:
People make decisions as part of groups. People make decisions for emotional reasons not rational ones.
It is this part of the training which encourages intelligence officers to become influential members of the groups they seek to manipulate online. It is also this area that has the most alarming parallels with Mr Jäckel.
He became a member of the Buddhist forum e-sangha as he was scouring online groups to find disenchanted members, or ex-members of the NKT, he could form alliances with. It wasn’t long before the ideal candidate appeared.
David Cutshaw, a disillusioned NKT member was on e-sangha discussing doubts about the tradition and his experiences within it. Very quickly Michael struck up a friendship with David and persuaded him to establish an exclusive online forum dedicated to ex-NKT members and people thinking of leaving the NKT.
On 22nd May 2007 David created the group which was called “NKT survivors” and after David, Michael was the first person to post on it. Michael had now created his very own group dedicated to discrediting the NKT by gathering disgruntled former members and those with some doubts.
Within strand four of the GCHQ document it details the qualities intelligence officers should look for to bond groups together: shared opposition, shared ideology, and common beliefs. It also details some of the attributes that pull a group apart: competition, and ideological differences.
For the survivors group to work in line with the CTA’s agenda it was essential that it was focussed solely on opposition to the NKT and anyone who showed ideological differences such as supporting the NKT needed to be quickly removed.
For this reason the group established the following rule:
“No NKT members/followers/students are allowed.
If you are happy with the NKT, and have no desire to leave, this group is not for you. If you join anyway trying to post and try to get Yahoo to delete this group, we can only assume you are a troll trying to cause disharmony. Such people will be banned and removed at once from the group.”
Anyone posting comments which were deemed in any way supportive of the NKT were dismissed as ‘trolls’ trying to promote ‘NKT propaganda’. In this way they ensured that members self moderated their comments avoiding anything that could be accused of being ‘Pro-NKT’.
Now Michael had a group of people who were either ex-NKT members who were unhappy about their previous treatment in the tradition or current members who were thinking of leaving.
Fake Victim Blog Posts
In order to get the ball rolling Michael created a false identity online which he used to join the group and post comments. The fake identity was called “York Johns” and he posted as if he was an ex-NKT member with bad experiences.
Unfortunately for Michael his trade-craft wasn’t very good with ‘York Johns’ and he used the same persona to create a YouTube account for some videos he wanted to use on his websites. The ‘York Johns’ account also uploaded some teachings in German by Dr. Birgit Schweiberer who was at Instituto Lama Tzong Khapa in Italy with Michael.
‘York’ was meant to be English, yet he was uploading German videos of Michael’s friend. ‘York’ also recently uploaded footage Michael had recorded of the protesters outside the Dalai Lama’s teachings in Frankfurt in 2014. Either Michael has multiple personality disorder or he was creating fake victim posts using his ‘York’ persona.
his wasn’t an isolated incident, Michael’s friend Rory Tasker also joined the ‘survivors’ group and posted under a false name. Rather than using his ordination name (Jamyang Khedrup) he posted using the name Lobsang Jangchub.
Over the course of 6 months several people replied to him using this false name, yet Rory never corrected them. An account of his time at Sera monastery was also published by Michael on one of his websites but attributed to, “the monk Lobsang Jangchub“, even though Tenzin knew it was written by the monk Jamyang Khedrup.
Exactly how many of the other victim posts are fake is anyone’s guess, there’s no way to prove who the person is who posted the account or if it’s accurate. This aspect of the ‘survivors’ group made it an incredibly potent tool in Michael’s work for the CTA.
At this point I’d like to note that I am not trying to dismiss or belittle anyone’s actual experience of dissatisfaction with the NKT. The issue is with the ability to ascertain if the accounts are truthful or if they are fake. Michael has demonstrated a willingness to use fake accounts within both the ‘survivors’ group and his own websites, which raises a valid question about which are accurate and which are false.
Posting “negative information” on Various Forums
In addition to using false identities within the ‘survivors’ group Michael also runs various different online identities which he uses to post negative information throughout the internet. He often comments on any articles which present anything other than a negative portrayal of the protests and almost always includes links within the posts to his own websites. Needless to say he pretends that the websites are not connected to him.
So far I’m aware of the following online identities he runs, although there are probably several more not included here:
- Tenpel
- Mick
- Mick Jackman
- York Johns
- Tashi
- KT66
- Losang Tashi
Generating Outcomes with the ‘Survivors’
With respect to using, “social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable.“, we need to consider what outcome the CTA would find desirable. If you bear in mind that their tactic is to discredit the NKT by calling it a cult, their desired outcome would be to create an appearance that accords with that narrative.
For this reason the main outcome that the CTA want from the ‘survivors’ group are statements or testimonies that support this premise. Such testimonies can be used to encourage others to see faults in the NKT, as evidence to the media to support the CTA claims, and as a method to influence the views and comments of religious research organisations such as Inform.
Inform is a UK charity based at the London School of Economics that specialises in researching minority and new religious movements. It’s use by the CTA has been so widespread and significant that it warrants an article in its own right, which is due to be published in the near future.
For the time being if we return to how the ‘survivors’ group is used by Michael in relation to the aims of the CTA its importance comes sharply into focus.
Within strand two of the GCHQ briefing document there is a section they term ‘Social Creativity‘ and illustrate with the diagram below:
When considering that the function of the ‘survivors’ group for Michael is to generate negative testimonies about the NKT this diagram explains the route an intelligence officer would take. Note that NKT members who are not thinking of leaving the NKT are not allowed in the ‘survivors’ group, so consequently those who are considering leaving are welcome.
By planting seeds of doubt within the minds of people considering leaving the NKT and nurturing those doubts you eventually arrive at converts, people who have left the NKT and are ‘survivors’. Only those posting negative comments about the NKT are allowed in the group, so the only converts allowed a voice are those who are negative ex-NKT members.
According to this diagram converts function in two ways, firstly they help to sow seeds of doubt in the minds of people still thinking of leaving the NKT and they also transition to those converts who share their experiences. When the ‘survivor’ has shared their experience and written a ‘survivor testimony’ that is shared with the group it functions to sow more seeds of doubt in those still in the NKT and also to encourage those who have left to write their own testimony.
This is the theory for how the ‘survivors’ group should function according to the people who train intelligence officers for the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters. In other words this is the model a spy working for GCHQ would follow to manipulate an online group.
So how does this theory compare to the way that Michael Jäckel uses the ‘survivors’ group?
From my research into the group it follows exactly this pattern. Visitors who are still within the NKT are encouraged to leave the tradition. They are directed to several ‘survivor testimonies’ and encouraged to see negative aspects of the NKT.
After someone announces that they have left the NKT there is a steady increase in pressure on them to write about their experiences, to share with the group. This functions to encourage others, but also there is a strong pressure running throughout the group that members should contact Inform.
This step highlights the fact that the ‘survivors’ group isn’t intended as an end process, but a stage within a larger process. Its function is to generate testimonies and also to share those testimonies with Inform and influence their opinion of the NKT. In so doing the ‘survivors’ group forms the very heart of Michael’s methodology in that it generates statements used to influence an independent research group in order to lend credibility to the CTA’s claims.
This trend is apparent and starkly obvious to anyone who looks through the archive of posts on the group. Time after time people are encouraged to contact Inform, to send their accounts to them. In one case a ‘survivor’ was strongly encouraged to ask Inform for advice on publishing a book based on their experiences within the NKT.
Inform are so entwined with the CTA’s campaign that they regularly feature in official press packs for the Dalai Lama’s events and they are promoted as a point of contact to the media to prove the CTA’s narrative that the NKT is a cult. The CTA even go as far as to say that the NKT must be dangerous because they have a ‘survivors’ group.
Conclusions
In conclusion to his own article Glenn Greenwald stated:
“Claims that government agencies are infiltrating online communities and engaging in “false flag operations” to discredit targets are often dismissed as conspiracy theories, but these documents leave no doubt they are doing precisely that.”
If the UK and US intelligence communities are engaged in discrediting targets who oppose them through manipulating online communities is there any doubt that the exile Tibetan government would do the same? They have a long history with the US intelligence community and Michael Jäckel has a history within the East German armed forces and an interest in the Stasi/Nazi approach which would include Zersetzung methodologies.
Interestingly Mr Jäckel’s response to my previous expose of his web of lies was to state that I am an “ill-informed conspiracy theorist“. Yet here we have an official training document from the UK intelligence services which mirrors the exact methods he uses for the CTA.
How can Mr Jäckel manage to recreate the same methods of operation that GCHQ use unless he is working as an intelligence officer for the CTA and is following the training he has received?
- Is it just coincidence that he was ‘injecting false material onto the internet‘ via Wikipedia and his own websites?
- Is it accidental that he was ‘manipulating online discourse‘ through the survivors group?
- Was it a random chance that he created ‘fake victim blog posts‘ and published one of them on his website?
- Is it incidental that he has been ‘posting “negative information” on various forums‘ using multiple false identities?
- Is it unintended that his use of the ‘survivors’ group follows the plan explained by the GCHQ ‘Social Creativity‘ diagram?
- Why is it that Mr Jäckel’s online activity to counter the Dorje Shugden protest movement follows the GCHQ document, “The Art of Deception: Training for Online Covert Operations“?
Bearing all of this in mind there is only one question to answer:
Is Mr Jäckel a Buddhist monk, the victim of some ill-informed conspiracy theory, or is he an intelligence officer working directly for the Central Tibetan Authority?

House of Cards
14th May 2015
In the two months since publishing an article entitled, “The Holy Spy”, which exposed Tenzin Peljor/Michael Jäckel as an Intelligence Officer, working for the Central Tibetan Authority (CTA), there have been some surprising developments.
In the weeks that followed, further revelations showed how far and wide reaching Tenzin’s work for the CTA was. What had been intended as a single article turned into a series of pieces which demonstrated how he had manipulated vulnerable members of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) and co-opted a UK religious research charity (Inform) to help fulfill his aims.
With every additional piece of evidence Tenzin’s carefully crafted web of lies began to show signs of weakness. Eventually through the sheer weight of the truth his house of cards started to tumble down.
Sources close to both Tenzin and Carol have revealed that they are now struggling to maintain any significant degree of support beyond their die-hard core members, which number about 5-10 people. The illusion of a movement which boasted over 1,300 members appears to have evaporated, which raises questions about how many people were actually active behind the scenes in the first place.
The problem facing Carol and Tenzin is that they have no rational way to explain the accusations levelled against them, other than the obvious conclusions. Instead they have resorted to simply dismissing any claims as “conspiracy theories” and “false evidence“.
One such example is Carol’s private meeting with the Dalai Lama in Basel and her sharing the stage with him at one point. She sought to downplay this incident as somehow normal despite the fact it is anything but normal and serves to illustrate her close ties to the CTA.
At present Carol has been tasked with re-invigorating the “survivors” discussion group and trying to re-establish her relationship with Inform.
Tumbleweed and Ice
One of the biggest loses for Tenzin has been the almost deserted “survivors” discussion group which he established in 2007. Since the expose revealed exactly how he had established this group as a propaganda weapon against the NKT it has seen a massive drop in activity.
Perhaps its members, realising they had been lied to and deceived by Tenzin, chose to disengage from it. It was certainly no coincidence that the group was established and run in exact accordance with the training given to UK spies at GCHQ, as revealed by Edward Snowden.
In the 7 weeks since exposing this elaborate manipulation there have only been 12 messages posted in the group. Of those 7 were posted by Carol in a desperate attempt to re-ignite some semblance of activity.
Aside from Carol’s input there were only 5 messages posted, 2 of which were in response to a question from Carol as she attempted to track down someone whom she hoped could restart a campaign against the NKT.
Without the “survivors” group Carol and Tenzin’s main set-piece against the International Shugden Community (ISC) protests is worthless. This was a declaration against the protests signed by a handful of members seeking to represent the 1,300 “survivors”.
What’s now apparent is that there are nowhere near 1,300 “survivors” of the NKT. If the discussion group is in any way representative of them the true figure is dramatically smaller, much closer to 10 than 1,000.
The truth is that Tenzin followed the training he had previously received from the East German intelligence community and adapted it using modern day training from the CTA. The Central Tibetan Authority has been heavily trained and influenced by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), therefore in this context the parallels between Tenzin’s activities and those revealed by Edward Snowden is not too surprising.
Another knock-on effect of their loss of credibility with the “survivors” group is that it has weakened their position with Inform. Following another expose showing how Tenzin and Carol had co-opted them into their work for the CTA, Inform have themselves faced closer scrutiny.
As well as already having had to answer questions from their main funding body, the UK government’s Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), they also face serious questions from the UK Charities Commission over their independence in this issue. At the same time Inform have witnessed the “survivors” group almost vanishing before their very eyes. This has raised serious concerns about the validity of the group and just how genuine they were.
Whilst Carol faces an uphill struggle to try and resurrect the myth that the “survivors” group is real, rather than an elaborate ploy by Tenzin, she is also experiencing a cooling of her previously cosy relationship with Inform. Meanwhile Tenzin is also struggling to generate any new or continued interest in his propaganda websites against the ISC protest movement.
Hits vs Visitors
When Tenzin left Carol in charge of the “survivors” discussion group he focussed a large part of his efforts on developing supposedly “independent” websites about Tibetan Buddhism. As previously shown they were far from independent and simply served as a smokescreen to promote the CTA’s own agenda against the protest movement.
Even Inform weren’t entirely convinced by Tenzin’s claims to be independent and when pressed on this point Dr Suzanne Newcombe conceded:
“We are aware that he works towards the [sic] promoting the Dalai Lama’s position on various issues.”,
adding,
“it is clear from his many public websites that Tenzin Peljor works actively in ways that support the agenda of the CTA.”
Since he was exposed as an Intelligence Officer for the CTA, Tenzin’s main website has dropped off a cliff in terms of visitor numbers. He has been desperately trying to garner support but seems to be lacking any new or compelling material.
His recent attempt to disprove claims of the Dalai Lama’s connections to Shoko Asahara, the man behind the Tokyo subway sarin gas attack, were weak and poorly thought out. It did nothing to discredit the large volume of evidence that shows his relationship with Asahara was that of a teacher to his student.
In terms of Tenzin’s attempts to discredit the protests against the Dalai Lama’s ban on Dorje Shugden Buddhists they too have been weak and half-hearted. The latest of which was just re-publishing a 3 month old anti-protest editorial from a newspaper as if it was recent.
This weakness in his arguments and rhetoric hasn’t gone unnoticed by his readers, who like members of the “survivors” group appear to have all but deserted him.
An analysis of his website has shown that on average he receives only 5 page views per day. If each visitor looked at just one page this would mean 5 people a day, if they looked at more than one page then obviously that number would fall.
The analysis showed that on average there are 500 ‘hits’ per day on Tenzin’s main CTA propaganda website, however a hit doesn’t equate to a visitor. A hit is a record of every file request that’s made when you visit a web-page. Every time you visit the homepage for Tenzin’s main website it makes 109 separate file requests, so one visit will record 109 hits. When you compare that to 500 hits/day it shows how few people are actually visiting it.
Some of the People, Some of the Time
It would seem the elaborate plan Tenzin hatched with his superiors in the CTA back in 2006 is finally falling apart.
Perhaps the only reason his deception has lasted for so long is because no-one has properly researched it and challenged him. In addition to losing traction in the west his status within the CTA is similarly diminishing.
Due to a combination of arrogance on Tenzin’s part, some well placed and helpful sources (albeit sometimes grudgingly), and a smattering of luck, his elaborate ruse has been very publicly unwoven.
The truth of the allegations revealed on this site is evident in his catastrophic failure to maintain any convincing level of support. Survivors he could once count on no longer want to play his game after realising they were pawns directed against the NKT at his will.
People have grown weary and tired of his unceasing rhetoric, so much so that they don’t even bother to visit his website anymore.
As for the academics and researchers he could once count on to battle behind the scenes and off the record in his favour, they no longer want to be associated with him. The only ones who remain connected to Tenzin share his own ties to the CTA and the exile Tibetan leadership.
What becomes of his attacks on the protest movement now is uncertain. For the time being though, Tenzin’s bubble has burst and re-inflating it will take more effort than ever before. Whereas previously he could fool some people with his claims to be independent and a “survivor”, his true colours are now visible for all to see.
It appears that only his core followers are willing to battle to the bitter end to try and defend the Dalai Lama’s “right” to discriminate and persecute Shugden Buddhists.
Update
30th May 2015
Immediately after publishing this article Carol and Tenzin denounced it as “lies” and sprang into action to try and enact a “spontaneous” flurry of activity on the “survivors” discussion group.
As explained above, in the 7 weeks following my initial expose of the “survivors” group there was practically no activity on it at all. Aside from Carol’s increasingly desperate posts there were only 5 messages in those 7 weeks, 2 of which were in response to Carol. The last activity was on 4th May.
The day after I published this article the “survivors” group returned to life with activity from a number of users, including some who had never been active on there before.
Their ruse to try and create the illusion of an active and involved group soon dissipated and it became obvious that there was almost no-one active on the group. Kathleen, who by her own admission hadn’t even been involved with the NKT, posted a message to the other 4 active members.
Carol has referred to the claims in this article as “nonsense” without offering any explanation to support her view. Both she and Tenzin have failed to refute any of the evidence against them, which is by now a sizeable amount.
Information from sources close to them revealed that there are just 5-10 core members of their group who remain active. The message from Kathleen above proves that this information is accurate.
Carol and Tenzin also attempted to feed me false information to give the impression that their campaign was gaining strength. Lots of “behind the scenes” activities were fabricated or just outright lies. The truth is that they have run out of ideas and now that their fraudulent behaviour has been exposed they have lost the support of people and organisations that can no longer trust them.
Tenzin’s blog continues to fail to get any traction and he has resorted to being more active on Facebook in order to try and get his message out. From 12th May – 30th May his website had an average of 430 hits/day. As explained above this equates to just 4 visitors per day.
Even on Facebook though Tenzin seems unable to stop himself from being dishonest. He fails to use either his legal name or his “ordained” name, preferring instead to pretend to be “Mick Jackman”. The reason for this is so that he can pretend to be someone else when he posts comments on media websites.
When contacting the media to brief them against the protest movement he uses his legal name (Michael Jackel) and his ordained name (Tenzin Peljor). When articles are published online he uses one of several false identities to comment on them such as, “Mick”, “Tenpel”, “York Johns”, and “Mick Jackman” to name but a few.
In response to someone querying why he wasn’t using his real name on Facebook he explained that it was primarily so that he could comment on articles on US media sites, as shown below (excuse the poor translation by Bing):
A more accurate translation would be: “Mark I prefer to remain anonymous. I had to create the account because you can only post comments on US media with a FB profile.“
Given that he publishes numerous websites all aimed at undermining the protest movement and that he issues press releases against the protests in his official capacity as “media spokesperson” for the German Buddhist Association (DBO) it raises the question as to why he wishes to remain anonymous when posting comments on media websites.
Using multiple false identities is another aspect of the training given to spies working for the UK, as explained in the GCHQ document, “The Art of Deception: Training for Online Covert Operations.” Tenzin has repeatedly refused to explain why his own online activities so closely resemble the training given to agents by the UK’s GCHQ spy agency. Nor does he explain why it is acceptable for a supposedly fully ordained monk to lie and use false identities, acts which he has explained are against the vows of ordained Buddhist monks.
It’s actions such as these that demonstrate how blatantly Tenzin and Carol both try to deceive and manipulate the media and other organisations. They seem to make up their own rules and realities as they go. It’s as if they believe their mission to try and shield the Dalai Lama from public scrutiny place them beyond the rules and conventions of society.
The only “nonsense” and “lies” it would seem come from their own deceptive activities, not my exposing of them.

CTA will lose
June 7, 2018
Tenzin Paljor aka Michael Jäckel is an admirer of the Nazi regime. He praises them and looks up to them. Disturbing I know. This says a lot about this ‘monk’. A career monk. Became a monk to get money, respect and livelihood. Not for spiritual reasons. All that he writes on his blog is negative, vulgar and hurtful. A worthless blog to read.
Indy Hack does another great expose on this fake monk Tenzin Paljor.
(Photo—I know Tenzin Paljor looks mentally challenged, but he is suppose to be ‘normal’) 😜

Things are going to be very different for Tibetans in India from now on as Sino-Indian relations get warmer by the day. India has vowed to firmly adhere to the one-China policy and ensure Tibet-related issues are handled ‘properly’. This means India will tighten her grip on all Tibetan-related activities. So, the trouble-making Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) better watch themselves and not create further problems that may antagonise China. This is something India will no longer tolerate.

Many thanks is due to Indy Hack for exposing the activities of Tenzin Peljor. It is surprising to hear someone can make a living from exploiting the misery of a fellow man.
Still this is very valuable information about tenzin peljor that we should not take lightly.

Ex-Prime Minister Samdhong Rinpoche caught sleeping in a meeting
The representative of the Dalai Lama and former prime minister of the Tibetan government in-exile Samdhong Rinpoche during an important meeting having a nice sleep. The Tibetan government in-exile are run by people like this who have no control over their body and manners. They only stay awake in the meeting if there is FREE aid money coming their way to line their pockets. Shameful how Samdong Rinpoche is sleeping in the middle of a meeting and he represents the Tibetan government in-exile. This is why after 60 years Tibetan leaders have failed to get Tibet back but blame others for their failures. Shame!

The Dalai Lama has emerged as the biggest talking point during informal Sino-Indian bilateral talks during 2018, such as the Wuhan Summit. This is all due to concerns related to the Dalai Lama’s health. China wants the Dalai Lama to travel to Tibet, knowing that it would most probably be a one-way ticket. India on the other hand initiated the talks, shunning the Dalai Lama and kowtowed to China’s rising power. Their aim was to strike a deal to resolve border issues.

The Central Tibetan Administration may be delighted to read the Daily O’s claim that His Holiness the Dalai Lama was the main subject of discussion during the recent informal summit in Wuhan between Prime Minister Modi of India and President Xi of China. However, it is said that the discussion was prompted by the Dalai Lama’s ailing health, and that China and India entered into discussion to avoid a sequel to the 73-day stand-off between two countries. Perhaps the dialogue between His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s representatives and Beijing may finally resume since Prime Minister Modi and President Xi are being brought into the picture.

Here is another article that gives a bleak assessment of the situation regarding the Dalai Lama and of the Tibetan cause. It mentions clearly how Tibet is losing out to China and why. It also explains why Lobsang Sangay is feebly respected by the Tibetan diaspora. The articles does not foretell good news for the Tibetan diaspora, in fact it does not even give a possible outcome for what is going to happen to them. It shows how the Dalai Lama is losing influence over world leaders from countries like the Netherlands to the United States. Such articles are becoming increasingly common because they reflect the situation for the Tibetans in-exile and their leaders.

UNRULY TIBETANS FIGHTING AT DALAI LAMA BIRTHDAY PARTY AGAIN
July 2018-NYC- Tibetans fighting at some birthday celebratory event for His Holiness the Dalai Lama. They set up a throne in the back, place Dalai Lama’s picture, and they fight, push, shout, scream at each other right in front of the throne of Dalai Lama and it’s filmed. That is the level of the Tibetans overall. Tibetans are not gentle, Buddhist, peace-loving, tolerant people as they portray to the world. They are rough, rude, hateful, vengeful, violent, regionalistic, narrow minded and will create trouble wherever they go. Very feudal. They always resort to vulgar words and violence. There are some moderate Tibetans, but on the whole they are very violent people who do not practice Buddhism. The average Tibetan know nothing of Buddhism and do not practice. Buddhism is just a meal ticket for them to get to another country. Their support of Dalai Lama is blind and only to be politically correct and they never practice what he teaches. Disgraceful to see a group of violent Tibetans fighting at a Dalai Lama birthday event. Shameful.☹️
Tibetans are not welcomed wherever they go. Bhutanese kicked them out. Nepal hates Tibetans. India has no more use for the ‘refugee’ Tibetans and their temples made of gold. After 60 years they cannot get their own country back. What a bunch of losers and useless government people they have.

The letter:
It is about the incident that happened at His Holiness’s birthday celebration in NYC recently July 6, 2018. Some members of Tibetan woman association approached to Parliamentarian Tenpa Yarphel during the ceremony and complained that his comments regarding Nechung was disrespect to the protector and His Holiness. They also said him that he made many Tibetan people sad with his comments. And told him not to do that again in the future. Then Dhondup Tseten stood up and shamelessly touched those women. That incident almost made the ceremony stopped. To keep maintaining the relationship between Tibetan Woman Association and Tibetan Parliament Representative, TWA are asking for a apology letter from Dhondup Tseten for touching their members.
(It is so sad that in the fake democracy of the Tibetan leadership in Dharamsala you cannot say anything against a leader or criticize. Too bad)

Dalai Lama for debate, discussion to reconcile opposing viewpoints
The Dalai Lama always says we should have honest face to face discussion so misunderstandings are resolved especially on religious issues. Why does the Dalai Lama refuse to meet the Dorje Shugden followers who number in the hundreds of thousands to resolve the Dorje Shugden issue. Many letters have been submitted to request audience since 1996 and he and his office does not reply. Dalai Lama’s spirit of open debate and resolutions is not across the board. Too bad. WHY DOES RICHARD GERE AND DALAI LAMA SUPPORT SOGYAL THE DISGUSTING ABUSER?
As long as you are friends with the Dalai Lama, your actions are excusable, no matter how horrendous they may be. Even something as heinous as sexual abuse of over 60 women can be overlooked when the perpetrator is friends with the Dalai Lama namely Sogyal Rinpoche. Why rush to join the chorus of Hollywood voices condemning Harvey Weinstein’s criminality, but remain silent against Sogyal’s exploitation and abuse of women? Richard Gere was vocal in condemning against all the abuses and attacks against women by Harvey Weinstein. But silent on Sogyal Rinpoche. BBC has a full length documentary on Sogyal’s abuses as you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWhIivvmMnk. Yet Richard Gere can take photos with the disgusting and abusive Sogyal. Is it because one group of women are worth protecting and the other are not? If it is not for that reason, then it can only be because Sogyal is the Dalai Lama’s friend. The Dalai Lama’s condemnation against Sogyal is very light and it’s disappointing. I guess since Dalai Lama supported Sogyal so much, he can’t be seen as wrong in doing so. Politics is sad.

TENMA VERY ANGRY WITH SIKYONG LOBSANG SANGYE AND PENPA TSERING
Tenma deity takes trance of her oracle in Nechung Monastery in Dharamsala, North India. The deity is highly displeased and angry at Sikyong Lobsang Sangye and Penpa Tsering. She is scolding them by waving her arms at them and throwing rice at them. You can see Penpa Tsering shielding himself. These two has always been corrupt and extremely self-serving. Naturally the oracles of the Dalai Lama take trance and are very angry.

SUMAA has been consistent in their efforts to evict Tibetans from Arunachal Pradesh as the Tibetans are known to exploit benefits given to locals. The Central Tibetan Administration, especially their so-called ‘president’ Lobsang Sangay, made the situation worse by rubbing salt in the wound, making a statement that Chief Minister Pema Khandu is an ardent follower of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and a lifelong friend of the Tibetan people. This was right after Khandu announced the adoption of the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy in Arunachal Pradesh.
Tibetan refugees create a lot of problems for the locals no matter where they are, especially in Arunachal Pradesh. They take the locals’ land and resources without giving anything in return, making the locals furious to the extent that they are now demanding a written undertaking from the Tibetan refugees not to claim Indian citizenship and STC/PRC in Arunachal Pradesh. It is time to impeach Sangay for a better leader to guide and take care of the Tibetans in India before the wrath of locals evict Tibetans from the state or even the country for good.

Hollywood is one of the most influential groups of people who have promoted the mysticism of Buddhist Tantra to the world. Together with the media, they have packaged Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan lamas into a fantasy Utopia, filled with God-like beings who are able to lead people along the quick path to enlightenment.
This propaganda has been widely exploited by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) to garner support, especially financial aid, for the so-called Tibetan Cause and the Tibetan struggle against Chinese rule. Little does the West, including Richard Gere and the so-called Buddhist Professor Robert Thurman, know that efforts from China to improve the infrastructure and standard of living for the Tibetans in China have created opportunities for Tibetans to grow and be successful. This is something that is rarely seen in exile under the governance of the CTA.
This false image that has been promoted for the past 60 years or so is now slowly fading away as more and more victims come forward, exposing the sexual abuse they have suffered under the hands of Tibetan lamas like Sogyal Rinpoche. The root of the problem is clear, people are greedy and lazy while wanting quick success and attention. Since they get these from the Tibetan lamas like Sogyal, they are willing to accept the exploitation. This is further driven by fear that they would no longer be seen as the privileged ones in the inner circle if they do not clutch at their lamas and be seen showing tremendous devotion to their gurus. With only a superficial knowledge of Buddhism, this cult-like group of Hollywood stars and American politicians like Richard Gere continue to generate respect and love for their skewed version of the “Dharma”, while real Buddhist masters are relegated to the side lines.

While the government of Nepal has framed a policy to tighten the noose around non-governmental organisations, they have welcomed 30 Chinese NGOs to enter the country. These NGOs will penetrate the country’s social sector at the grassroots level. This is the first time such a large number of Chinese NGOs have entered Nepal at one time. Nepal is increasingly open to Chinese influence, a sign that ties between both countries are strengthening, while India’s influence is being reduced. The time has passed for India’s monopoly to remain uninterrupted in Nepal as opportunities to engage with China are being welcomed.

Dalai Lama says returning to China is better for Tibetans-What do rangzen (Tibet Independence fighters) people fighting for Tibet’s freedom do now??? Have we wasted our time?
Suddenly the Dalai Lama keeps insisting he wants to be a part of China. How about all the tens of millions of dollars in money and so much time and resource poured into the Free Tibet movement for 57 years in exile. Is that all wasted? Is that all down the drain? How can the Dalai Lama turn around on us like that?
If Dalai Lama returns to Tibet/China, then he is telling the world China is good for Tibetans and we Tibetans want to be a part of China. Is that correct? So Dalai Lama is telling the world that Tibet is a part of China? After so many years of saying we want independence and our country was eaten and now Dalai Lama is sending what message to the world?

The Nikkei Asian Review is a highly reputable news platform. They are not tabloid in any sense of the word. What they publish is reputable and thoroughly reliable. They mention clearly in an article published August 7, 2018 that the Dalai Lama has a terminal illness. The Prime Minister of India knowing this is now conciliatory towards China. He understands that the Dalai Lama cannot be used as a pawn in irritating China any further. Negotiations are progressing that after the passing of Dalai Lama, his government in-exile will close. Dalai Lama should set things right

Dear Dalai Lama,
Since you started the cruel ban against the 350 year Dorje Shugden practice, how has it benefit your Tibetan society and Buddhism in the world? Things have become worse and most educated Tibetans can see this. They don’t speak out not because they don’t see your ban as wrong, but you instill fear in them and not respect. It is like fear of a dictator. I am sorry to say so. Everyone is divided. There is no harmony. Before your ban there was more harmony and unity.
By enacting the ban, you split the monasteries, split so many families, split regions in Tibet apart, split your disciples from you, split your own gurus from you, split Tibetan Buddhism apart. You have created so much disharmony.
It is not democratic what you have done to ban a religion within your community. You always talk of tolerance and acceptance and democracy and yet you do not accept and tolerate something different from your beliefs. When people practice Dorje Shugden you ostracize them, ban them from seeing you, ban them from using Tibetan facilities. You know you have done that. There are videos that capture your speech and prove this point. You even had people expelled from monasteries just because they practice Dorje Shugden. Some of the monks you expelled have been in the monastery for over 40 years. Many older monks shed tears because of this.
Many young educated Tibetans lost confidence in you as they saw the damage the Dorje Shugden ban created and they lose hope. Many have become free thinkers. They reject what you have done. So many people in the west left Buddhism because of the confusion you created with this ban against Dorje Shugden which is immoral.
You could of had millions of people who practice Dorje Shugden to support, love and follow you, but you scared them away. They are hurt and very disappointed. They loved you and respected you deeply before the ban. It has been 60 years and you have failed to get Tibet back. Your biggest failure is not getting Tibet back after 57 years in exile. Now you are begging China to allow you to return to Tibet to the disappointment of thousands of people who fought for a free Tibet believing in you. So many self-immolated for a free Tibet and now you want Tibet to be a part of China with no referendum from Tibetans. Just like a dictator, you decide on your own. It was your government and you that lost Tibet in the first place. Your policies and style of doing things do not benefit Tibet and Buddhism. You have been the sole ruler of Tibet your whole life and you still have not gotten our country of Tibet back for us. Our families and us are separated. Yet you create more pain by creating a ban to further divide people. Please have compassion.
No other Buddhist leader has banned or condemned any religion except for you. It looks very bad. You are a Nobel laureate and this is not fitting of a laureate. You should unite people and not separate them by religious differences.
You said Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi did not do right to the Rohingya people in Myanmar due to religious differences, but you are doing the same thing to the Shugden Buddhists within your own society. There is a parallel in this. You separate the Shugden Buddhists from the others in Tibetan society.
You have lost so many people who would have loved and supported you. You have lost so much support around the world. The Shugden Buddhists who love you number in the millions. When you are fast losing support from governments and private people, it will not do you well to lose more.
After you are passed away in the future, the rift you created between the Dorje Shugden and non-Dorje Shugden people will remain for a while and that will be your legacy. Disharmony. You will be remembered for this. Not as a hero but a disharmony creator.
Dorje Shugden will spread and further grow, but you will be no more as you are a human. No one wishes you bad and in fact we hope you have a long and healthy life, but we have lost so much hope and have so much despair because of you. All the hundreds of Dorje Shugden lamas, tulkus and geshes are maturing and there are hundreds of Dorje Shugden monasteries in Tibet who will not give up Dorje Shugden. You have made a mistake. These hundreds of teachers and teachers to be will spread Dorje Shugden further in the future.
The gurus that gave us Dorje Shugden as a spiritual practice and you have called these holy gurus wrong and they are mistaken in giving us Dorje Shugden. How can you insult our gurus whom we respect so much? If they can be wrong, then you can be wrong. Then all gurus can be wrong. So no one needs to listen to any guru? You have created this trend. It is not healthy. Your own gurus practiced Dorje Shugden their whole lives. Your own gurus were exemplary and highly learned.
Dalai Lama you have created so much pain with this ban against so many people due to religion. You are ageing fast. Are you going to do anything about it or stay stubborn, hard and un-moving. You show a smile and preach peace and harmony wherever you go. But will you do the same to your own people? Please rectify the wrong you have done. Please before it is too late. You can create harmony again or you can pass away in the future with this legacy of peace. May you live long and think carefully and admit what was a mistake in having this unethical ban against Dorje Shugden religion.

The cracks in Tibetan society are starting to show, and it is now coming to the attention of local Indians who have all but identified the Tibetan leadership as the source of the divisions. According to this author, disunity amongst the Tibetans is now creating problems for Indian law enforcement agencies, and this disunity may culminate in young Tibetans holding silent grudges against their host country. It is incredible that after six decades of generosity from India, Indians are now facing the very real possibility Tibetans can be ungrateful towards India. The Tibetan leadership totally failed to impart positive values upon their exiled community, like gratitude for those kindest to them and the need to repay these kindnesses with real, tangible results. It’s also very unlikely that the Tibetan leadership will now start to do this, after six decades of failing to do so. Indians need to realise this, and see that there is no benefit for their nation to align themselves with the Tibetan leadership, and there never will be.

This is a very interesting article to read. The CTA is really determined to smear Dorje Shugden so they can distract people from questioning their failure to fulfill their duty as the leadership of the Tibetans in exile. They use the donation from people to suppress their own people instead of to take care of their welfare.
Tenzin Peljor may not be a monk as we thought because his main focus seems to be spreading fake news and condemning NKT. He is wearing a monk’s robe probably because it is more convincing as the general public would think a monk will not lie. Coming from a Stasi background, disguising himself to achieve his goal is not something he is unfamiliar with.
It is a shame for the CTA to use an ex-Stasi to help them spread fake news and propaganda to smear NKT and Dorje Shugden followers. They even let him wear a monk’s robe in order to do his job. The CTA is creating a lot of bad karma by misusing the holy monk’s robe.

Wow! This really read like those dark spy stories which I think normally people would have an inkling but never really believe how black those minds could be. This brings the threat of the Nazis so real to us and scary to know there are still many with like minds in positions to destroy. Actually to me, the scariest part is that the Tibetan Leaders are in cohorts in this espionage. Really destroys what I thought of the Tibetan Leaders, whom I had always thought are “practitioners” of Buddhism. Yes maybe some bad stuff to win back Tibet but this Peljor guy is really really dark. So much for the sanctity of spiritual purity. And now there seem to be the split between the autonomy wish of the Dalai Lama and those wishing for independence. Is the Dalai Lama losing the grip on his subjects to follow his wish?

It is bewildering that His Holiness the Dalai Lama mentioned that he had known of sexual abuse by Buddhist teachers since the 1990s, yet nothing was done to reprimand these Buddhist teachers. After all, such abuses inflict substantial damage to the reputation of Tibetan Buddhism as a whole as compared to smaller issues like Dorje Shugden.
The Central Tibetan Administration was fervent in executing the Dorje Shugden ban, launching a documentary film, books, expelling monks, splitting monasteries and denying access to hospitals, clinics, schools, retail shops and so forth down to even publishing a hit list of Shugden activists in order to encourage violence and lynch mob. Yet, the damage done to Tibetan Buddhism by these lamas seems to be ignored and hushed. Why is the Central Tibetan Administration not doing more to warn the public about these sex offenders like posting a warning list on their website?

His Holiness the Dalai Lama as the Tibetan spiritual leader revered by millions of Buddhists around the world should ensure that the Tibetan spiritual leaders do more to denounce sexual misconduct and abuse of Buddhist teachers as there are far-reaching repercussions and negative impact on Tibetan Buddhism.
While His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been consistent in reminding practitioners about not practising Dorje Shugden in lieu of the social and religious problems associated with it, despite the unsubstantiated claims or justifications, the indolence of the Central Tibetan Administration in taking action to pacify the public disgust against the misconduct of these Buddhist teachers is severely lacking and appalling. The bias in dealing with these issues related to religious matter has again proven the political nature and conspiracy behind the ban on Dorje Shugden.

When compared to the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) in Dharamsala that does not take any responsibility for their people like any proper government normally would, China is radically different and liberal for allowing sex abuse victims to express themselves on social media, despite its heavy censorship of the Internet.
For people like Luo Xixi, whose online postings on sex abuse has garnered millions of views on Chinese social media, said that the government is gradually opening up to the #MeToo movement, a hashtag catch-phrase movement that encourages and empowers sex abuse victims to stand up against sex abuse. In China, those who are convicted of sexual abuse are severely dealt with by the law and laid off from work. The Central Tibetan Administration should take heed of how such cases are dealt with in China and not allow sex abuse perpetrators, especially Tibetan lamas to continue committing their crimes unchecked and without consequence.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s speeches create headlines nowadays not because they bring wisdom and enlightening thoughts, but rather unpleasant feelings and disapprovals. From the sexist quip in 2015, his gaffe on Nehru, and his recent comment about Europe that caused him to be labelled as White Supremacist, there is now one more to add onto the list. In order to be congenial and consistent with the image of a Nobel Peace Laureate, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been issuing statements, especially about Islam, such as redefining Jihad as an interior struggle.
More and more people are expressing their doubt, with some even directly pointing out the mistakes in the Dalai Lama’s speech. This pattern of speech of strong statements that ends up in denial or apology seems consistent with his advice concerning the practice of Dorje Shugden. With the reasons behind the ban shifted so much over time, perhaps there really was never any validity behind the ban at all.

Dalai Lama is a piece of shit and a disgusting scumbag. It is, it is insane this cunt comes to Europe and tells us that we should not accept more refugees. Is he fucking retarded? It is amazing, like you don’t expect from people like, like those to be Nazis and to support all the right. It’s just insane a spiritual leader is a fucking Nazi dude. Europe needs more refugees, way more than we already have. Do you understand? And this degenerate says that we should send refugees back to where they came from and that we should help the countries of the refugees. His suggestions are, it’s obvious, like obviously we should help the countries of the, of the refugees, of their origin, but we should not send anyone back. We need more refugees in Europe and we should not deport anyone. We should give money to the refugees so they can stay in Europe and live here. What this Dalai Lama is suggesting is very inhumane, that’s all what I wanted to say. Hopefully in future we will get more migrants in Europe. Hopefully we can help more people. Let’s hope, let’s hope for the better.

The issue of Indian resentment towards the Tibetan refugees living on Indian soil is nothing new. The Tibetans have built comfortable lives for themselves in India and enjoy many privileges including exemption from paying tax. All of this is done without Tibetans showing genuine concern for the less fortunate in their host country.
The story below, which took place over 24 years ago, is a reflection of how fragile the Tibetan situation is in India. When a Tibetan murdered an Indian following a dispute, chaos ensued, and the Dalai Lama had to consider moving out of Dharamsala. Tensions between the Indian and Tibetan community have not normalised and remain high in the area even until today.

A plot to murder the Dalai Lama by a Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorist named Kausar was recently uncovered. Kausar planned to cause the Dalai Lama’s demise and blow up Buddhist temples in the Indian State of Karnataka as revenge for the attacks on Rohingya Muslims by some Buddhists in Myanmar.
Although Kausar’s plans are appalling and cannot be justified, it is a reminder that the Dalai Lama as a well-known Buddhist personality has a moral obligation to discourage religious persecution in any form. This even includes the discrimination experienced by Dorje Shugden practitioners.

The fact that rangzen activists aim for the goal of Tibetan independence is at odds with the Dalai Lama’s goal for Tibet’s autonomy. This is nothing new but it is an undeniable fact that the Dalai Lama is the most recognisable Tibetan face and representative for the Tibetan Cause. However, for years now there has been a deficit of trust between China and the Dalai Lama, which leaves the future of Tibetan refugees in limbo.
Recently, the Dalai Lama tried to take conciliatory steps towards China by acknowledging that development in the Tibet Autonomous Region is beneficial and expressed his desire to return to China. He even said he wants to go on pilgrimage to Mount Wutai, China’s most famous Buddhist site. The fact that the Rangzen people are still protesting against China however shows their true colour. They are against the Dalai Lama and want to make sure that his efforts to help Tibetans are unsuccessful.

Sex Predator in a Monk’s Robes?
In USA, Shambhala’s head Sakyong Mipham with his huge ceremonial hat, blue and gold brocades on a high throne. So much pomp and ceremony and underneath it all was a monster… a sexual predator in religious robes exploiting women and people. Such a disgusting shame. Sakyong should be barred from any activities in the future and go for counselling. He needs it badly. His father was Chogyam Trungpa who did the same thing to women and included drugs and orgies in the 70′s. Dalai Lama supports Sakyong Mipham as sizeable donations were given to the Dalai Lama’s office. Shame. We all thought Dalai Lama was clairvoyant and can see the hearts of sentient beings? Sakyong Mipham wears monk robes, shaves his head but has a wife and kids. Why keep wearing monk robes? He is wearing monk robes to look authentic as he is not authentic. Easier to swindle and fool people. Ontop of wearing robes, shaved head masquerading as a monk, has a wife and kids, he further attacks other women sexually. What kind of spiritual leader is this? Disgusting.

China and India are becoming closer and in a recent meeting have agreed on some points. One of these points is that the Dalai Lama will not be allowed to carry out any more political activities against China on Indian soil. Being a spiritual leader, why is he so political anyway? The Indian leaders are slowly silencing the Dalai Lama and the Tibetans in India. The Dalai Lama and his Tibetan government in-exile regime had better make friends with China already. They should either go back to Tibet/China or become Indian citizens and remain silent.

Dear Lobsang Sangye and Tibetan Govt in exile in Dharamsala,
How come after 60 years you are still not at the G20 meetings? How come you cannot get your country back? How come the world economies and power are shifting towards the East which is China? How come you cannot get Tibetan autonomy, or freedom or any leeway with China? How come your negotiations with China is a failure and you produced nothing?
You run around begging for FREE MONEY from Europe, Australia, Japan, Canada, Taiwan and US for 60 years now but no one in your refugee community has made it big or successful? Where did all the money go? In your pockets? How come all your Tibetans from India/Nepal are going back to Tibet or leaving to the west. How come your schools in India are empty? How come Dharamsala is emptying out?
How come you are getting weaker and more world governments are ignoring you? How come more are paying attention to China? Less governments are willing to pay attention to you and the Tibet cause? Where is all your rangzen groups? How come they are not effective? Maybe they are disillusioned with your corruption, lies and underhanded tactics and human rights abuses using religion to divide your own people?
What happened to you? Why are you and your community your Tibetan ‘parliament’ such losers and failures? How come you cannot achieve anything?
Are you going to continue to beg for more FREE MONEY to fund your trips, houses, children’s education, vacations, five star hotels, nice brocade chubas, expensive accessories, and properties. You know the ordinary Tibetan in India has gotten nothing in financial help of the hundreds of millions in aid for that last 60 years you Tibetan exiled government pocketed. Is that why your Tibetan people in India and Nepal are all leaving to back to Tibet and the west? You failed?
Your policies and work are not effective.
Too bad.

TIBETANS SHOULD NOT HAVE MONKS AS LEADERS, THAT IS A BIG MISTAKE
Note what Namdol Lhagyari said is progressive and unlike the usual Tibetan rhetoric:
“The problem I see right now is how reliant we are on one individual,” Namdol Lhagyari, 32, the youngest member of Tibet’s exile parliament, said. “I understand that every freedom movement requires one role model, one leader, who would push everyone in the right direction, bring everyone to one goal. But he has reached an age where we will have to prepare ourselves for a post-Dalai Lama.”

👎
These are important points to remember:
1. Tibetan lamas and monks SHOULD not enter politics. They should not hold positions of power, leadership and political roles. It will demean the Dharma. They are not trained, nor qualified nor have the credentials to be in government. They also do much damage to religion as people start to respect them less. The lines between respecting them as spiritual beings (sangha) and speaking against them when they are in government and make wrong decisions become blurred.
2. Monks and nuns should not get involved with the running of the country but should stick to education. Giving good education to the public about ethics, morality and in some cases Buddhism. No one wants to see a political monk or nun. Because it contradicts the very reason they renounced the worldly life in order to enter a life of contemplation, learning, meditation and gaining enlightenment.
3. Look at other countries where Buddhism is strong where sangha is sangha and never get involved with government or being public officials. In Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, Sri Lanka etc where there are tens of thousands of sangha, you don’t see them in the government at all. Local or national governments both do not have sangha. Even in Christian countries you don’t see priests in government. That is Tibet’s big mistake to place monks/high lamas in so many government positions and as public officials. Very dangerous for the country as it has proven with Tibet and Tibetans.
4. Monks, nuns and high lamas should do dharma practice, produce books, videos, give teachings, guide the public, do funerals, blessings, be a nurturer, study dharma, build real temples, keep existing temples spiritual, animal shelters, environmentalists, be mediators, help with orphanages, shelters, the poor, half way houses, poor houses, and basically all sorts of charities that benefit the mind and body of sentient beings that is NOT GOVERNMENT BASED. If sangha gives good education, they can produce kind and good leaders to run the country.
Tibetans should never never never allow Sangha (monks, nuns and spiritual personages) to be involved with government, politics and rule of law because it ends up in disaster. That is how Tibet lost it’s country and will never get it back. There are too many monks in the Tibetan Parliament and as leaders remember Samdhong Rinpoche as the prime minister of exiles. That was very bad. The King of Tibet currently is a monk. How does that look? Very political.
Tibet made that huge mistake and Tibet will never recover from it.

Differences between Dalai Lama and CTA president put Tibetan politics in a tailspin
By Rajeev Sharma, November 27, 2018 SouthasianMonitor.com
Tibetan politics is in a tailspin as there are signs of serious differences between the 14th Dalai Lama, unquestionably the supreme and undisputed leader of the Tibetans, and Lobsang Sangay, president of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).
The immediate provocation is the unceremonious cancellation of the 13th Religious Conference of the Schools of Tibetan Buddhism and Bon Tradition, which was scheduled between November 29 and December 1 year in Dharamshala. Insiders have revealed that the conference was cancelled by Lobsang without consulting the Dalai Lama.
Even more intriguing is the timing of the move. Knowledgeable sources in the Tibetan establishment in India disclosed that Lobsang made the move while the Dalai Lama was travelling back from Japan, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to do anything to stop it.
Tibetan politics is turning out to be a cloak-and-dagger mystery. According to sources, Lobsang waited until the Dalai Lama was on his way to the airport before ordering the Department of Religion and Culture to cancel the event. Interestingly, the cancellation of the conference is available by way of an announcement in English on the CTA website.
The CTA’s Department of Religion and Culture announced that owing to the sudden demise of the supreme head of the Nyingma tradition, Kathok Getse Rinpoche, who passed away this week in Nepal and in respecting the sentiments of the followers of Nyingma tradition, the 13th Religious Conference of the Schools of Tibetan Buddhism and Bon Tradition was being indefinitely postponed.
The department cited that many lamas and representatives of the Nyingma tradition were unable to participate because of Rinpoche’s passing away.
On November 22, the CTA organised a prayer service to mourn the demise of Rinpoche, the 7th supreme head of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. Rinpoche passed away following an accident on November 19 in Pharping, Nepal. He was 64.
Sources say the Dalai Lama is furious with Lobsang Sangay for trying to take credit for his negotiations with China about returning to Tibet.
Sangay claimed that the Dalai Lama has failed for 60 years in negotiations with China, but he has the power and ability to succeed. This is also an indication of how weak the Dalai Lama’s current position is. Sangay knows that the Dalai Lama has been negotiating with China about returning and he’s trying to position himself to take credit for it. Had this happened a few years ago the Dalai Lama would have had him removed, but since his cancer has become terminal, Sangay has been consolidating his position among the exiled community. He controls the press department of the Tibetan government-in-exile and has done so since he ousted Dicki Chhoyang.
For the record, the head of the department, which cancelled the conference, was appointed by Sangay.
By the time the Dalai Lama returned to India the event was cancelled and announcements were issued to the media while he was still in the flight, which would have prevented a confirmation with the Tibetan leader and nothing could have been done to stop it. The reason given for the cancellation was the death of a senior monk.
Sources said that the real reason for the CTA president to keep the Dalai Lama in the dark was because the latter would decide again whether to back the Karmapa as his successor. The Karmapa issue has been a major reason of discord between the Dalai Lama and the CTA president. Sources spoke about a telephonic conversation between the Dalai Lama and Sangay in this regard on November 22 when the former was in Japan.
During this conversation, furious arguments broke out between the two. The Dalai Lama is said to have “shouted” at Sangay, saying that the Karmapa wouldn’t be chosen and that he wouldn’t be dictated terms by anyone. In this conversation, the Dalai Lama used some expletives in Tibetan language which he did not expect Sangay to understand as the CTA president doesn’t know the language. However, a Lobsang aide is said to have translated what the Dalai Lama said.
This marks the most significant power play ever between the different factions within the Tibetan exile leadership. In other words, it’s now an all-out battle between the Dalai Lama and Lobsang Sangay over the future of the exile community, which may worsen in the days to come.

===================================
This interesting article has much food for thought:
1. Dalai Lama is angry and shouting expletives as Lobsang Sangay. Everyone knows the Dalai Lama is in full control. He claims he’s retired from politics but this is just to say what the west wants to hear so he can continue getting funding. It looks good to the west that he voluntarily gave up power and this makes him look progressive. But the Dalai Lama controls everything from behind and if you don’t agree with his decisions, he will be furious. Every Tibetan knows this well.
2. Interesting the article mentions Dalai Lama’s cancer is terminal. Everyone knew this but the Dalai Lama tries to cover this point up. Why? Who knows? What is the problem if people knows he has cancer. Tibetan govt tries to play it down.
3. Dalai Lama is angry as his successor will only be on his terms and no one else may dictate to him the terms as Lobsang Sangay tried to do so since it is not a democracy in practice. As all Tibetans know, the Dalai Lama is the Lama-King and he has full power and no one may contradict him. The face he shows the west (soft, friendly, diplomatic, easy-going, democratic) is all just for the west. The face Dalai Lama shows his Tibetan people (fierce, King, angersome, in charge and must be obeyed) is how it really is. Tibetans know the Dalai Lama controls everything and fully manages all politics. People are not happy with this but dare not speak up as there is no democracy.
Writer Rajeev Sharma is telling the situation like it really is. Finally the truth is coming out. Tibetan government in exile is a regime in every sense of the world that depends on all the hundreds of millions of free dollars it has been taking from the west, Japan, Australia and so on. It exists on free money. It is not a good government and has failed all negotiations with China due to the Tibetan leaders’ arrogance. Why arrogance? They think the world will force China to do what Tibetans leaders want and that they are so important on everyone’s agenda. Tibetans are on no one’s top agenda and China is an economic and military super power. China will not and will never kowtow to the Tibetan demands. It is the Tibetans who must beg China to be friends and get some concessions if at all possible. No country has ever dared stand up to USA, but China has and China is growing in power yearly. Everyone is scrambling to be China’s friend and saying goodbye to the Tibetan cause. Tibetan cause is the thing of the past and no economic benefits to support Tibetan cause.
These days every country votes in leaders that can better their country’s economy due to world recession. So every country has to do business and trade and aid with China to improve their economy. If you side with the Dalai Lama and Tibetan govt in exile in India, what do you get? Nothing! So leaders of every nation realize this now and will continue to make friends with China and say goodbye to the Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama on a personal level may be rich, famous and sells a lot of books, but that won’t get Tibet back. That won’t win the support of leaders of the free world and other nations.

“What does Empress Cixi and the 14th Dalai Lama have in common?”
His Holiness the Dalai Lama has a ‘method’ in his very powerful rule.
The Dalai Lama will always say it is not up to him and it’s up to his people. He gave up his power to the people. But it is not really up to his people. His people and his parliament must seek his approval for all decisions or carry out his will. If you ask his people do they want a 15th Dalai Lama after him, they have to say yes as the current one (14th) is watching them and you have to be politically correct to say yes. Who dares to say no? You don’t want to displease him. Who dares to say we want genuine democratically elected leaders. Remember, none of the Dalai Lamas were ever democratically elected (the penny drops). All the Dalai Lamas sit in power on the throne till the end of their lives.
Also how the next Dalai Lama will be found, the current Dalai Lama will definitely set the mechanics during his lifetime and then sit back and say, it’s the people who wanted it this way. It’s the people who wanted another Dalai Lama. Of course they have to say that. If they say they don’t want another Dalai Lama after this one, it is tantamount to treason. It will offend the current Dalai Lama and make him upset. In order for a stateless leader like himself to continue to get millions in aid for free as he has been for 60 years, he must appear democratic. How will he get money to support his vast expenditure of his lama court, if no free donations in the millions are given? So behind the scenes, Dalai Lama pulls all the strings but in front, he acts like he is doesn’t know anything and not involved and his elected leaders are running the show. Nothing can be further from the truth. Just like the last empress Cixi of China. She always enthrones little emperors handpicked by her from her royal family and extended families and controlled their power and ruled China from behind them as their regent during their adolescence. As a woman she could not be the emperor or ruler of all China, so she was clever and put young kids she chose from her royal families on the throne to be their regent and controlled them from behind the gauze curtain. She was suppose to hand power back to them when they reach the age of maturity to rule China, but she never did. She would place the young emperors on the throne during audiences and sit behind a curtain and dictate orders to the ministers in the name of the emperor as their regent. So in this way, she was acting in the name of the emperor (regent), but actually she was in full control. When time came to hand power over to the emperor, she would have them poisoned. Then place another new very young emperor on the throne. She did this for decades.
She was literally the power behind the throne. She could not be dethroned in this way yet she held all power. Like this, she ruled China till her death which was near impossible for any woman to do so. The last emperor Puyi she placed on the throne before the kingdom fell to civil war. (This spawned the movie by director Bernardo Bertolucci “The Last Emperor” and the emperor was played by John Lone.) When time came for the maturing emperors to take actual power from Dowager Cixi during her regencies, she would have them poisoned and install another young emperor and continue to be the regent. In this way, she stayed in power. She didn’t get a chance to poison Puyi because she passed away (rode the dragon to heaven) during his adolescence.
The other only female ‘emperor’ in Chinese history is We Xetian (Empress Wu). Another very incredibly intelligent woman who beat the men around her at their own game and ruled China as a woman.
The Dalai Lama started the Dorje Shugden ban. It came from him and only he can start it. But now he says, it is not him. Because it would make him look bad if he admits the ban came from him which it did. He claims everyone in the monasteries took a vote and they voted Dorje Shugden out. Ignorant western audiences wouldn’t know any better. They had no choice but to vote Dorje Shugden out or the abbots of the monasteries would be dishonorably discharged by the Dalai Lama himself. He places them in power and he can remove them. All Abbots of the great Gelug Monasteries are chosen by the Dalai Lama himself. He can remove them from power anytime, therefore the abbots are frightened of the Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama says he just advised to not practice Shugden, but his people, the abbots in charge, the monasteries took it to another step and outlawed Dorje Shugden and it’s the will of the people. So his ban on Shugden appears democratic. It was up to them. But it is not. He rules behind a ‘gauze’ curtain that he handed his power over to his personal ‘Puyi’ (Lobsang Sangay).
The Dalai Lama cannot show the world he is in full charge, because he would be seen as a dictator and therefore lose all free aid money which he and his government subsist on. Dalai Lama is behind the gauze and holds all power and Lobsang Sangay ‘Puyi’ is on the throne. Strangely similar to Empress Cixi. If Lobsang Sangay does things that does not please the Dalai Lama, you can bet your bottom dollar, he will be dethroned. Again, no Dalai Lama was ever democratically voted into a lifetime of power.

‘Karmapa’ Ogyen Trinley no longer recognised by Indian govt as 17th Karmapa. Indian government is not happy he did not show respect to India for all the years he took refuge in India. He simply renounced his Indian protectorate papers and took a Dominican republic passport. He could have had the courtesy to let Indian government know beforehand and thank them.

Dear Tibetan government-in-exile (Dharamsala),
Sharmapa Rinpoche is the highest authority in the Karma Kagyu after Karmapa. By age-old tradition, Sharmapa is the one that confirms the real incarnation of Karmapa. He recognized Thaye Dorje as the genuine Karmapa. But Dalai Lama endorsed Orgyen Trinley as the real Karmapa. Dalai Lama is a great lama but there has never been a tradition of him recognizing a Karmapa.
Both ‘Karmapas’ have big followings in and out of Tibet. So which one should we follow? We have to follow the genuine Karmapa. If we follow the fake one, we will get fake teachings, fake lineage and no results. We can even take rebirth in the lower realms.
Only the Tibetan leaders can tell us which is the real Karmapa. You have told us which one is the real Panchen Lama. We follow the Panchen of your choosing. Since then we have condemned China and condemned the fake Panchen Lama. Now it is the same situation with Karmapa. We have denounced the fake Karmapa and ask him to step down. He is destroying the Karma Kagyu Lineage.
This issue has torn the Karma Kagyu sect in half. There are many who are so confused and some gave up Tibetan Buddhism altogether because of this. We must solve the confusion. This does not look good for the Tibetan government in exile because the confusion was started by Tibetan government. I support Dalai Lama and Tibetan government. But so many of us need to know the real Karmapa already. Don’t remain silent. Which one is the real Karmapa.
Tibetan government in exile, you have created two Gelugs (Pro-Dorje Shugden and against), you have created two Panchen Rinpoches, two Karmapas, two Dromo Geshe Rinpoches, two Kundeling Rinpoches and so on. When are you going to solve all the confusion. You are destroying Tibetan Buddhism.
