Chushi Gangdrug made to swear against Dorje Shugden who helped them

In this book “Arrested Histories: Tibet, the CIA, and Memories of a Forgotten War” by Carole McGranahan, Duke University Press Books (October 1, 2010), it clearly recorded the incident where Chushi Gangdrug members consulted Dorje Shugden oracle during Chinese invasion in the 50s, and in 2008, they were made to swear against Dorje Shugden!!

Shame on CTA, their evil plot of twisting the history is exposed!

  1. Once again this literature gives us the history of practice of DS and how the ban and the actions of the Chinese have made people give up practices and to “comply”. Where is the natural rights of human choice and freedom? It really makes me sick to the stomach. And then fifty years down the road, they “promise” not to worship the Protector who saved their lives and given them protection and advise…

Do the CTA and HHDL NOT see that there is something naturally wrong and inhuman to give up one’s practice and faith. Really shameful. I am also amazed that the people can actually give up the Practice. Sad…

  2. I agree with your thoughts regarding the inhumane surpression done on DS practitioners and especially on the Chushi Gangdrug army. It is indeed a powerful test of faith for propitiators of His Holiness and Dorje Shugden. I doubt many can still hold on to their practise when being put in such situations.

CTA is very shameful and I must admit that their actions and methods are indeed cruel. But do consider this: Following the band which stripped probably tens of thousands of their faith towards DS, China is heavily promoting this specific practise to their 1.3 billion population, and this amounts to approximately 20% of the world’s population.

DS is definitely growing in general, but at the stake of practitioners who have been propitiating to DS for so long? Should we take pity? I don’t think so. On the perspective of the law of causality, this probably happened due to the collective bad karma of the practitioners, same like the famine and disaster that came after the murder of Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen. However, the sacrifice from this part of the world brings great benefit to others (more in numbers) by spreading the practise of The King DS.

    Peace,
    Arjit.

  3. This is interesting to know there is a non-Dharma book written independently which also depicts the existence and works of Dorje Shugden. Dorje Shugden was propiatiated by many during the time of the establishment of the military Chushi Gangdrug. The army took the advice of Dorje Shugden to heart. Dorje Shugden was always there for them. It is indeed cruel to force them to abandon something so close to their heart when they were made to swear out against Dorje Shugden !

Contemplate This

.…Instead of turning away people who practise Dorje Shugden, we should be kind to them. Give them logic and wisdom without fear, then in time they give up the ‘wrong’ practice. Actually Shugden practitioners are not doing anything wrong. But hypothetically, if they are, wouldn’t it be more Buddhistic to be accepting? So those who have views against Dorje Shugden should contemplate this. Those practicing Dorje Shugden should forbear with extreme patience, fortitude and keep your commitments. The time will come as predicted that Dorje Shugden’s practice and it’s terrific quick benefits will be embraced by the world and it will be a practice of many beings.
