Lama Gangchen travels and teaches tirelessly to promote inter-religious dialogue. Instead of recognising him for his work, just like how UN Secretary General Koffi Annan did, the Tibetan leadership ostracises him. His practice of Dorje Shugden is, on its own, enough to negate all of the good works he has ever done.

How can 350 years of attained great masters be wrong about Dorje Shugden, and ONLY the Dalai Lama be correct about him?

Kyabje Zong Rinpoche and Lama Yeshe had a very close relationship. During the last days of Lama Yeshe’s life, his teacher flew in from Switzerland to do prayers for him. FPMT should not forget the kindness of Dorje Shugden lamas such as Zong Rinpoche towards their teacher, who also relied on Dorje Shugden. They should not forget the integral part Dorje Shugden played in the growth and success of their organisation.

Both Geshe Rabten and Lama Yeshe practiced Dorje Shugden until the end of their lives, and both of their perfect incarnations are back. What happened to the Tibetan leadership’s illogical claim that practicing Dorje Shugden will lead you to the Three Lower Realms?

Before the ban, the Tibetan Buddhist world was harmonious and focused on the spread and growth of Dharma. Once the ban was in effect, monasteries were divided and monks driven out of their homes and schools. Is this what the Tibetan leadership wants for their people, a culture weakened and divided by their self-created politics?

The Dalai Lama recognised Geshe Rabten’s young incarnation. Once the ban was in effect however, Geshe Rabten was blacklisted as a Dorje Shugden practitioner and labelled “bad”. How can the practice of one deity negate the rest of a person’s good qualities and attainments?
On the one hand, the Tibetan leadership presents a smiling face to the Western world but on the other hand, they drive a wedge through their people, causing schism and dividing families, friends, students and teachers.

The Dalai Lama recognises Geshe Rabten’s young reincarnation. In his previous life, Geshe Rabten relied on Dorje Shugden until the moment of his passing into clear light. Why then did Geshe Rabten not enter the Three Lower Realms, which the Tibetan leadership claims will happen to all Dorje Shugden practitioners?

Lama Yeshe, Gonsar Rinpoche and Lama Zopa were all students of Geshe Rabten, receiving innumerable teachings from him. After the ban, Lama Zopa and Gonsar Rinpoche’s once close bond was broken – they were never to meet again because Gonsar Rinpoche continued to rely on Dorje Shugden, a practice given to him by Geshe Rabten. The ban forces families, friends, students and teachers to part ways. Is this what Dharma is about?

When there was no ban, the Dalai Lama was affectionate towards and greatly respected Gonsar Rinpoche and Geshe Rabten. Once there was a ban, Gonsar Rinpoche and Geshe Rabten never met with the Dalai Lama again. How can just one deity completely negate all of the other positive qualities a person has?
