After having graduated from the college, I embarked onto the working life to begin my career. Throughout my working life, I have met many challenges and obstacles. I started to feel frustrated and disillusioned with life. I was constantly asking myself what is the purpose of life? I was always searching for the answers. It was not until 2002 when I first came into contact with Tibetan Buddhism.
Prior to the year 2002, I was completely not interested in any spiritual practice or religion at all. It was during a random book talk, that I was introduced to Tibetan Buddhism. Somehow I was attracted to attend the talk and since then life had not been the same anymore. I started to practise Dharma seriously and in fact I quit my job and travels around the world, where I volunteered at many Buddhist centres. I was very connected with the Gelugpa Tradition. I have since chosen the Gelugpa path and working full-time in the Dharma. On hindsight, I strongly believe now it was Lord Dorje Shugden who has brought me back on the spiritual path.
Since Dorje Shugden is the main Dharma Protector of the Gelugpa Tradition, Dorje Shugden had been protecting me and guiding me on my journey to liberation. I may not have realized that Dorje Shugden had averted many of my mishaps and dangers like car accidents, carelessness and mistakes which could have cost my life! During other times, things seemed to be working to my advantage. It is very clear now that Dorje Shugden had been arranging suitable conditions to ripen my good karma so that I can progress faster along the path. It is Dorje Shugden who had been clearing my obstacles so that the ripened effects on me are lesser or completely eradicated.
To conclude, without Protector Dorje Shugden’s help, I couldn’t have come this far! It is Dorje Shugden who had given me the wisdom to walk the Gelugpas’ path again after having wandered aimlessly in samsara in the early years of this life. Thank You Lord Dorje Shugden!

As some seniors have commented “one would not be be practicing Dharma with the blessings of having Dorje Shugden as their Protector, unless they have done so in their previous lives “. Makes sense why our affinity is so natural when meeting Dorje Shugden again in this life.

From what I understand, some of us have stronger affinity than others due to our previous lives. Even to continue practicing dharma for the next life can be more difficult for some more than others.
I rejoice that you found your true calling and on hindsight be able to see the divine hand that made it possible for you to progress fast and far.
