Mongolia is reeling from impending economic meltdown in March as previous measures to solve its almost $600 million financial commitment to bond holders dissolved into thin air amidst qualms over His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visit. Originally in negotiations with China to help solve its dire fiscal situation, the Tibetan religious leader’s visit to Mongolia led to a breakdown in talks between the two countries. The economic situation in Mongolia has now degenerated so badly as to warrant private citizens donating their personal assets to the government in a last ditch attempt to save the country’s economy from financial ruin.
In hindsight this fiscal maelstrom, as reported in the article below, could have been easily avoidable through talks and deals with China and the International Monetary Fund. However negotiations with China collapsed after the Dalai Lama’s visit to Mongolia. Despite warnings from China that such a visit would strain relations between the two countries, the visit proceeded, something that the Central Tibetan Administration publicised heavily on its own website. In the aftermath of China pulling out from the negotiations, the Mongolian government even banned the Dalai Lama from entering Mongolia in an attempt to placate China back to the negotiation table. With such disaster hitting, the Central Tibetan Administration remains silent in regards to Mongolia’s current situation. Having fully supported the Dalai Lama’s visit, the Tibetan leadership now choose to ignore the outcome of their endorsements.
Mongolia and Tibet have a long, complicated but mutually shared spiritual history, something that has led to strong relations between the two countries, since before the time of His Holiness the 4th Dalai Lama, Yonten Gyatso, who was born in Mongolia, and was a great-grandson of Altan Khan. Altan Khan himself is remembered for instigating and strengthening ties between Mongolia and Tibet.
The Central Tibetan Administration’s promotion of this event was originally seen as an extension of their support for Mongolia, its people, its spiritual traditions (that stem from Tibet) and the fact that many people consider the Dalai Lama to be their spiritual leader. They had couched the visit in terms of spiritual wellbeing and harmony, but given their lack of support or even mentioning the fallout from the visit, it is evident that their intentions were not all that pure after all.
Well aware of Mongolia’s dependence on foreign support, the Tibetan Administration have conned the Mongolian leadership to stand up to China for their own ends. In pulling out the sovereignty card and standing up to China, through their heavy support for the Dalai Lama’s visit, the Tibetan leadership has worsened Mongolia’s economic situation. Adding salt to the wound, they do nothing to support Mongolia, do not promise aid or political help but kept quiet when their so-called friend is in urgent need to stave off the worst fears of any leadership – economic breakdown. For all intents and purposes, the Tibetan leadership has used Mongolia for its political usefulness, but offer nothing in return when the country is in serious trouble. They simply chewed on them until there was no taste left, and spat them out to be discarded once their usefulness was over. A simple glimpse of Mongolia’s financial situation and events over the past year, makes the Tibetan leadership’s exploitation of the country glaringly obvious.
For a leadership that claims to follow the Dalai Lama, a Buddhist monk, the actions of the Tibetan leadership by pulling out the sovereignty card, shows the underhanded and wholly un-virtuous exploitation of an entire country to fulfil their selfish aims. Mongolia now teeters on the edge of disastrous economic ruin, and the Tibetan leadership – the direct cause of the situation, which could have been avoided – are nowhere to be seen and offer not even a statement of support, betraying their own selfish intent. Strangely, India said they would step in among other countries to assist, but it looks like the assistance was too meagre to bail Mongolia out. Unfortunately, it will be the average Mongolian citizen who will need to bear the brunt of this costly political predicament with China while the Tibetan leadership gets away scot-free with yet another one of their underhanded political manipulations to assert their sovereignty at the expense of another country. You can read more about the dire situation that Mongolia faces below.

When you google Lobsang Sangay, his history shows his humble beginnings and brilliant with a Fullbright Scholarship to Harvard. He organised events for the Dalai Lama to meet with Chinese students and an expert in Tibetan Law and International Human Rights Law. So with such credentials, he could have brought the Tibetans in Exile to new heights of cooperation with China and yet he seem to make a 180 degree change instead. Why would that be? He seems to disassociate himself from his people with the lack of empathy for their needs as evident from his ministry spending vast sum of sponsorship money on propaganda instead of their welfare. Instead of expanding on the cooperation with the Chinese, he went directly against the Chinese government in propaganda of insults including vulgarity from his people, dashing hopes of dialogue for return to Tibet seem a distant dream. Expertise? Well it went out the window with so many laws against human rights. The ban against an authentic 400 year old religious practice and subsequent persecution, segregation and discrimination against the practitioners is absolutely against religious freedom and human rights.
And throughout the years of his tenure, he and his ministry had made so many blunders leaving a trail of bad consequences, like this Mongolian visit by the Dalai Lama. Being an intelligent person, he should have thought everything through and be mindful of the outcome of their actions. So in view of this, it is quite clear that as Sikyong, Lobsang Sangay just can’t be bothered or lack care for others in his pursuit to retain his power and monetary gains. It is Mongolian’s burden to bear for being lulled into thinking that the Tibetan Ministry will help them out with their monetary debt should China bail out after the Dalai Lama’s visit. I guess it serves as a lesson or a wake up call for other countries to be smarter than to believe in false assurance by the Tibetan Ministry.
I read lately that Sikyong Lobsang Sangay will be visiting Japan on the pretext of meeting a like minded woman who shares delusional wiping of historic crimes to look good. Learning from the expert? Wonder how Japan will fair after the visit?

Why is the Dalai Lama allowing his government to act this way?

The Mongolians have learned a lesson that they will soon will not forget.
The Dalai Lama does not care about them at all but only about himself.
This will all work out well for the future 15th Tibetan Dalai Lama.
When the future 15th Tibetan Dalai Lama is enthroned in Tibet the Mongolians will accept him as their true spiritual leader.
He will be pro Dorje Shugden and he will have Dorje Shugden as Tibet’s “State Protector” and “State Oracle”.
The 14th Dalai Lama has played into the hands of the Chinese and the Mongolians will bow to both the 15th Tibetan Dalai Lama and to China.
Mongolia’s future is with China and not the CTA.
If Mongolia refuses to get along with China the next move will be the closing of China’s border to all Mongolian trucks. They will be have no way of shipping their goods except through China.
If China closes their border to their trucks Mongolia will be crippled.
Thank you 14th for securing the future of the 15th Tibetan Dalai Lama with the Mongolian people.
Let us guess which country will be next to BAN THE DALAI LAMA.

From my point of view most important not only for Mongolia but also for any nation around the world is self-dependance that is based on dignity and here npot only Mongolia but any nations around the world can rely upon dharma/wisdom and compassion for 100% because of that freedom and wellbeing is rooted in compassion and the understanding of reality/non-duality is where compassion arises from. So our Understanding of non-duality/reality is our compassion and the actions that are rooted in our compassion will cause and effect freedom and wellbeing. There is no other way than wisdom and compassion/dharma, if you want to cause and effect freedom and wellbeing for yourself because reality is free of lastingness and non-existence (free of duality/non-duality) or protective and regenerating/healing cause and efect by itself.
Here HHDL and CTA only come in to support the freedom and wellbeing of Mongilia as well as the freedom and wellbeing of china and any nation around the world. HHDL and CTA are not against china or other nations at all. Freedom and wellbeing is based on research regarding reality/non-duality and science is pointing at the awareness/insight/result of research that is education in order to understand reality/non-duality and thereby to cause and effect an healthy development within one nation in order to cause and effect freedom and wellbeing for the nation in the present and future.
Chinas history is very much linked with wisdom and socialism only causes and effects many problems, so here socialists sooner or later will have to come back to reality otherwise they will fail and will be forced by reality/non-duality itself to adapt to reality that is and stays free of socialism because it is and stays free of lastingness and non-existence. Eternalism and nihilism or duality just does not work within reality that is non-duality and nothing can change this. It’s just the way it is, so WE have to adapt to reality or we will fail. It’s just that simple or evolution that we can’t escape at all. Even if we try to manipulate a little, we already fail.
Not only because of a long spiritual history but because of the benefit of dharma itself also Mongolia should stay with dharma and also should continue to receive support from HHDL and CTA. Dharma will stay/last much longer than socialism by the way, so just stay with dharma and forget socialism that doesn’t work anyway. HHDL and CTA are not responsible for the harmful actions of socialists that are only most harmful for themself by the way because of cause and effect within conciousness that they ignore like nazis did/do.
Of course non-duality is a thread for dualistic betray systems that are in contradiction with reality/non-duality and they only cause and effect injustice, abuse of power, white-collar crime, pollution of the environment and so on. Tibet has not done so much environment pollution like china or other countries together that are facing reality now and have to adapt to reality because of they can’t change reality itself and that it is wiser to cultivate wisdom and compassion/dignity because injustice, abuse of power, white-collar crime and pollution of the environment can’t cause and effect freedom and wellbeing at all.
So let’s stay with reality or at least let’s adapt to reality step by step by cultivating dharma/wisdom and compassion step by step and here. HHDL and CTA are more able to regulate all nations than the leaders of all nations and experts of economy together because of their lack of dignity due to their ignorance that reality is non-duality and that there are natural non-dual cycles. One Lama of one monastery is more able to rule all nations by himself than all experts of public hand and economy around the world together.
Human beings itself are not the problem, the problem is ignoring ignorance regarding non-duality or that reality is non-dual and to continue to be hostile against wisdom and compassion and people who cultivate their intelligence for the freedom and wellbing of mankind and all beings in the present and future.
So what about the quality of our education systems? Not to educate and train human beings in their dignity but only to educate and train human beings to function in dualistic betray systems that are in contradiction with reality can only cause and effect extremism, environmental pollution, injustice, abuse of power and white collar crime, terror and war and even world wars.
All nations have failed, game over! Dharma will continue for many thousand years and many buddhas will appear and turn the wheel of dharma again and again. No way to escape from that reality!

It is sad that Mongolia who has been enjoying rapid growth for the last few years on the back of strong Chinese demand and a commodity boom is now moving into stagnant growth and sharply increased financial fragility.
China’s was Mongolia’s top investment source and it was a foolish move to jeopardise the economy just for His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visit. China took in 83 per cent of Mongolia’s exports in 2015 and accounted for 36 per cent of imports to the country. A slight slowdown in demand or supply in this neighbouring giant could easily play havoc with the Mongolian economy.
When Mongolia hasn’t recorded a surplus in six years and its latest deficit last year at $1.5 billion was a record, anyone can tell that the Dalai Lama’s visit will definitely anger China and the negotiations with China will fall apart. To pacify China, the Mongolians finally reacted by banning the Dalai Lama from ever visiting the country again.
I wonder why the Central Tibetan Adminsitration (CTA) had allowed the Dalai Lama to be hosted at such a time when they are fully aware that his visit would ruin the chance of Mongolia getting the $4.2 billion loan from China. Then again, I am not surprised because CTA’s Sikyong Lobsang Sangay also recently asserted that India should prioritise the Tibet issue above India’s own national interest and cross-border issues matters with China. What kind of an administration would dare ask so much of a kind host who has provided a home for the Tibetan refugees for more than 50 years? It is true that Tibetan politicians are only interested in seeking out what benefits them without further calculating much else.

I find the Mongolian blunders quite unbelievable !! If Mongolia has an economy that heavily depends on China, why did they do something that would obviously upset China ? Never bite the hands that feed you !!
As for the CTA, what did they do to help the Mongolians when they were suffering when the Government of Mongolia implemented disastrous economic policies in the aftermath of the general election of 2012. The collapse of the local currency, falling global commodities’ prices, and a dramatic decrease in the volume of direct foreign investment have contributed to a sharply declining economy. Mongolia must make repayment under an ill-conceived U.S. dollar sovereign bond issue while other needed infrastructure projects are moth-balled or struggle to find funding.
Prior to the Dalai Lama’s visit, China and Mongolia had been in negotiations for a $4.2 billion loan to assist Mongolia in meeting these repayment obligations. But now after the visit, all has gone up in smoke !! And the CTA is keeping mum on it too. They should offer to help the Mongolians to get out of this mess !

For Central Tibetan Administration to show the sovereignty card, Mongolians citizens have to pay a heavy price to get their government out of trouble, all because of the Tibetan leadership. It doesn’t seem to bother Sikyong Lobsang Sangay who later on dare to tell India that they should prioritise the Tibet issue above India’s own, how ungrateful Central Tibetan Administration is to their host. This reflects the overall Tibetan mentality of being takers, still relying on handouts from international aids after decades of being in India and other host countries. Amazing.
I am saddened that Mongolia vows no more visits from the Dalai Lama, but I think that the Tibetan leadership has to learn a lesson of being so arrogant and completely disregards the welfare of others and other sovereign countries.

Good news that Mongolia is prioritizing their ties with the countries that can help them, especially when they are now in crisis. I read that Minister of Foreign Affairs Tsendiyn Munkh-Orgil and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov recently signed a cooperation agreement in Moscow, and that they have agreed to boost ties through joint implementation of the projects specified in the Tripartite Programme on Establishing the Mongolia-Russia-China Economic Corridor. Tsendiyn Munkh-Orgil should be on an official visit to China now.
China is Mongolia’s largest export market. As of early November 2016, about 80 percent of Mongolia’s total exports went to China. By a smaller margin, China is also Mongolia’s largest import market, making up about 30 percent of total imports by early November 2016. The second largest import market was Russia. Definitely Mongolia should prioritize its ties with these 2 countries.

Sooner or later also Russia and China will have to adapt themself to reality – impermanence is forcing all of us to become aware of that reality is non-duality, means that the cycle of elements and nature is a non-dual lifesystem of protection and regeneration/healing (non-violence) where a dualistic betray system of public hand and econmy simply can’t work at all because of it is in contradiction with reality itself and therefore it only causes and effects many different problems for nature/animals and human beings/societies as we can see within Russia and China and many other countries.
Russia and China is not able to take care of their problems at home but they want to take care of ukraine and mongolia although they are not able to do so. Violence can not cause and effect freedom and wellbeing, we only harm ourself most when we practice violence because of it effects our state of conciousness. So it is wiser for ourself to go for non-violence/wisdom and compassion/dignity.
With dharma, mongolia only can be victorious in short term and long term but with the dualistic betray system of russia and china, just for impermanent luck and all the problems that will arise along as well, they only will be troubled like Russia and China are already troubled because of the problems that their dualistic betray system already has caused and effected. Why should maniind continue with it? To destroy mankind? That doesn’t make any sense at all. It is in contradiction with reality that is life, protection of life/lifespaces, regeneration and heealing.
It is wiser to stay with reality an not to follow impermanent betray systems that sooner or later will crash and disappear anyway because of they are in contradiction with reality that is much stronger than these on illusions based dualistic betray systems that are impermanent. All societies in the that where based on duality crashed! What have we as mankind learned from our history?
Remeber that before WW2 it also was because of duality and dualistic betray systems that did not educate people about non-duality and caused and effected more and more problems and more and more illusions arised that at the end have lead the world into WW2!
We don’t need to go this way again and again, just because of impermanent luck that can’t make us happy at all.
So please wake up before it is to late public hand and economy around the world and please let mankind around the world cultivate their dignity to avoid many problems for mankind/any nation in the present and future!
I pray for the wisdom and compassion within all of you, for the freedom and wellbeing of all of you!

Mongolia has experience much difficulty from the price of mineral commodity from country plunging and also due to reduced demand especially from China.
So they are already struggling, and after a visit by the Dalai Lama their situation has gotten that much worst. It is very unfortunate for them. One thing is for sure CTA wherever they go to or meet , people who are in a dire situation it becomes even worst. making friends with CTA is a dead end with dire consequences.

Religion should help peoples to less their suffering. However Tibetan Leadership has keep using religion as a political tools to create more suffering for peoples and arranged Dalai Lama to visit Mongolia. This has caused Mongolia suffer especially the economic degenerated badly. Immediate effect after HH Dalai Lama visited the Mongolia was China has closed a key border crossing, creating huge congestion, hundreds of truck drivers for the mining conglomerate Rio Tinto are stuck at the Gants d crossing in southeastern Mongolia in freezing temperatures. Can you feel the suffering of the Mongolian drivers? Even thought HH Dalai Lama visited Mongolia via “religious”, the consequences of the visit went beyond religion and became a problem for Mongolia’s relations with China. Pray for Mongolia will find the way to solve their problems.

It’s very obvious what CTA is looking for between the relationship with Mongolia. Frankly speak what can CTA offer to help Mongolia? They can’t even support their own people and only depending fund from the west. After so many years in India what has CTA done to be self-sustain? CTA will only use the name of spirituality to buy in sympathy from the world and nothing that they have practice or follow through the spiritual teaching to educate their people, unite their people for harmony or to safe their people from violent and discrimination.
Mongolia definitely had make a wrong move in this and now they will see the true picture of CTA using them for their own interest. I just feel sad for the Mongolian which is trying very hard to safeguard their country and working so hard and even offer their personal cash, jewellery, horses to pay off their government debt. This is truly a unity act for them but sadly being used by CTA for their selfish agenda and put Mongolian into a sadden situation with China.
It’s the fact that China is a growing giant that having effect towards the world economic and even USA is making friend with China. Who will want to go against him and only CTA is still banging the concrete wall with a stick without much thinking of securing their people welfare and the future of Tibetan.
Looking at the geographical, Mongolia neighbouring country that really can help them is China and Russia. Mongolia should really think this through and hope they will able to pass through this difficult time and may they get the support needed.

Pitiful Mongolia! In the first place, you shouldn’t have believe what CTA told you or promised you. Look at where they are now? But Mongolia is blessed that even after what happened, China is still going to help with the crisis. And of course the IMF and some other countries will be helping out as well.
“Mongolia angered China in November by allowing a visit by the 14th Dalai Lama, who has pushed for separating Tibet from China.
In January, during a phone call between Wang and his Mongolian counterpart, Mongolia said it had reflected deeply on the visit and promised to not allow the Dalai Lama to visit again.
On Monday, Wang said the bilateral relationship “is ready for another start”.”

Thank you CTA for your good for nothing help. As usual, the CTA take advantage of whatever they ‘think’ can ‘benefit’ them but it seems now its more harm than good. Despite so many problems, it seems that CTA does not learn at all. With a group of people running the administration, instead of going forward, its moving backwards. Wherever they go, whatever they do, they seem to upset the China more.

I totally agreef what Harold Musetescu mentioned above ( Mongolia’s future is with China and not the CTA. )
Lets put spirituality away, and now we are talking about the relationship of country to country. What’s important for the country? Is Economy.
As i read another article that i searched from Google : China’s economic influence in Mongolia
Like most neighbors, Mongolia and China have a long and complicated relationship. For most of modern history, this relationship has been contentious. In fact, until the transition to a market economy began in the early 1990s, Mongolia had been under heavy Soviet influence. Distrust of its large and populous neighbor to the south was widespread.
Nowadays, nowhere else is China’s growing global economic influence felt more keenly than in Mongolia. By far, China is Mongolia’s largest export market. As of early November 2016, about 80 percent of Mongolia’s total exports went to China. By a smaller margin, China is also Mongolia’s largest import market, making up about 30 percent of total imports by early November 2016. The second largest import market was Russia.
Due to economic restructuring within the past few years, Chinese demand for Mongolian exports has slowed. This has had serious repercussions in Mongolia, and 2015 and 2016 have both been difficult years for the country’s economy.

Mongolian should be more aware of the tricks, CTA have brought them in. From the outlook, the Mongolian with intention of invited HHDL for the purpose of spreading Dharma. On contrary, CTA goal was on political issue against China despite of awareness on Mongolian financial development. Invading CTA turn out to be worsened their country economically especially with China who could secure Mongolian financially.

I liked what SabrinaS said about Lobsang Sangay, highly qualified and highly intelligent to be a Fullbright scholarship holder graduating from an Ivy League school, Harvard and yet seem to lack to see the dire consequences of his political actions.
It is all about holding onto power as the “Head” of a government, CTA, which is totally not accountable to anyone nor any other international organisation. Using the non-legal state of CTA, which is funded by donations, Lobsang Sangay never needed and will never need to be responsible to anything except to himself staying in power.
Using power of such an unaccountable nature will definitely have byproducts of corruption.
Mongolia was tricked emotionally due to her historical link to the designation of the Dalai Lama (which was endorsed and created by the old regime of Mongolia) and now find herself in dire straits.
The very act of a visit by the Dalai Lama to bless Mongolia, can create so much suffering for the Mongolians makes me wonder how the CTA and its officials view compassion and kindness.
To make matters worse, the CTA did nothing to help.

The government of Mongolia knew very well not to get China upset with the visit yet they went ahead with it. And after feeling the wrath of China they ban the Dalai Lama? What were they trying to prove to China? The Dalai Lama’s visit did not have positive results except for spiritual gain for Mongolians. But Mongolia cannot just depend on spirituality to enhance its dwindling economic situation.

I think Mongolia just dug themselves into a deep hole. Everyone in this world respects/feared China in everyway you can imagine and I do not understand why Mongolia actually went ahead with this plan without ever thinking deeper into the potential repercussions. Mongolia needs China and they just left their own people stranded towards political and economical tragedy.

With China’s current economy growth in the world, no other countries would like to go against China. Especially those countries who is looking for financial aid from China. I won’t say don’t have at all, there are still a small portion who still go against China. I can see there’s more cons than pro if a country go against China. In this Dalai Lama’s visit to Mogolia, was really giving Mongolia a hard time. But since Mongolia got the warning before the visit, why they didn’t ban Dalai Lama before he visited, but after China showed their wrath? What is Mongolia trying to do? Are they trying to be two headed snake? When they saw that when China showed their wrath and cancel the funding, but CTA, which Mongolia is hoping they will help them but keep quiet, then only they started to ban Dalai Lama and hoping to patch back the relationship with China? If that’s really the case, Mongolia is really digging their own grave.

To be very honest, CTA has never failed to show us their selfishness and narrow minded. Beside get funding from other country, they never did anything that benefit their citizen or their country, they only create troubles and destruction, Mongolia today is one of the greatest example, CTA wanted to show they have supporters and eventually put Mongolia at stake, but CTA never help/assist them to come out from that hotpot.. It make me wonder, is it they don’t want to help or they are not able to help.
If they don’t want to help, then why sacrifice ourselves to take side with them? If they are not able to help, then no point taking side with them too.. Compare to China, I will definitely take side with China, CTA with their attitude, it will never be my choice.

It was painful experince lesson for Mongolia to learn to Invite H.H.Dalai Lama visit their Country. However is good example show the rest of the countries all the world don’t offence China with no respect. Particular to CTA attitude which they think they get support from whole world. Mongolia which has a long border with China and Russia has no choice but have good relations with China. They are dependent on receiving their good either through China or Russia as they have no access to the sea. On top, they are financially in dire straits. So inviting the Dalai Lama was challenging China very much. So, why offending China like this? How come the government did risk its relation to China
Is there any gain the government of Mongolia could expect? Yes, the Dalai Lama shares the Dharma and the Dalai Lama is also closely connected to Mongolia through his previous lives. Unfortunately, on a more day to day point of view, Mongolia was left with a huge depth and such bad consequences for all his people. I hope that the CTA will pay more attention to the effects that their actions have on others.

What will the all the people around the world and in Tibet do now? Dalai Lama says he is happy that Tibet is a part of China and should remain a part of China. So many Tibetans self-immolated for Tibet to be independent and now Dalai Lama did a 360 degree turn and says he wants to go back to Tibet and China and Tibet should be a part of China. So unbelievable. So many are angry and disappointed.
Dalai Lama should set things right
August 13, 2018
Dear Dalai Lama,
Since you started the cruel ban against the 350 year Dorje Shugden practice, how has it benefit your Tibetan society and Buddhism in the world? Things have become worse and most educated Tibetans can see this. They don’t speak out not because they don’t see your ban as wrong, but you instill fear in them and not respect. It is like fear of a dictator. I am sorry to say so. Everyone is divided. There is no harmony. Before your ban there was more harmony and unity.
By enacting the ban, you split the monasteries, split so many families, split regions in Tibet apart, split your disciples from you, split your own gurus from you, split Tibetan Buddhism apart. You have created so much disharmony.
It is not democratic what you have done to ban a religion within your community. You always talk of tolerance and acceptance and democracy and yet you do not accept and tolerate something different from your beliefs. When people practice Dorje Shugden you ostracize them, ban them from seeing you, ban them from using Tibetan facilities. You know you have done that. There are videos that capture your speech and prove this point. You even had people expelled from monasteries just because they practice Dorje Shugden. Some of the monks you expelled have been in the monastery for over 40 years. Many older monks shed tears because of this.
Many young educated Tibetans lost confidence in you as they saw the damage the Dorje Shugden ban created and they lose hope. Many have become free thinkers. They reject what you have done. So many people in the west left Buddhism because of the confusion you created with this ban against Dorje Shugden which is immoral.
You could of had millions of people who practice Dorje Shugden to support, love and follow you, but you scared them away. They are hurt and very disappointed. They loved you and respected you deeply before the ban. It has been 60 years and you have failed to get Tibet back. Your biggest failure is not getting Tibet back after 57 years in exile. Now you are begging China to allow you to return to Tibet to the disappointment of thousands of people who fought for a free Tibet believing in you. So many self-immolated for a free Tibet and now you want Tibet to be a part of China with no referendum from Tibetans. Just like a dictator, you decide on your own. It was your government and you that lost Tibet in the first place. Your policies and style of doing things do not benefit Tibet and Buddhism. You have been the sole ruler of Tibet your whole life and you still have not gotten our country of Tibet back for us. Our families and us are separated. Yet you create more pain by creating a ban to further divide people. Please have compassion.
No other Buddhist leader has banned or condemned any religion except for you. It looks very bad. You are a Nobel laureate and this is not fitting of a laureate. You should unite people and not separate them by religious differences.
You said Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi did not do right to the Rohingya people in Myanmar due to religious differences, but you are doing the same thing to the Shugden Buddhists within your own society. There is a parallel in this. You separate the Shugden Buddhists from the others in Tibetan society.
You have lost so many people who would have loved and supported you. You have lost so much support around the world. The Shugden Buddhists who love you number in the millions. When you are fast losing support from governments and private people, it will not do you well to lose more.
After you are passed away in the future, the rift you created between the Dorje Shugden and non-Dorje Shugden people will remain for a while and that will be your legacy. Disharmony. You will be remembered for this. Not as a hero but a disharmony creator.
Dorje Shugden will spread and further grow, but you will be no more as you are a human. No one wishes you bad and in fact we hope you have a long and healthy life, but we have lost so much hope and have so much despair because of you. All the hundreds of Dorje Shugden lamas, tulkus and geshes are maturing and there are hundreds of Dorje Shugden monasteries in Tibet who will not give up Dorje Shugden. You have made a mistake. These hundreds of teachers and teachers to be will spread Dorje Shugden further in the future.
The gurus that gave us Dorje Shugden as a spiritual practice and you have called these holy gurus wrong and they are mistaken in giving us Dorje Shugden. How can you insult our gurus whom we respect so much? If they can be wrong, then you can be wrong. Then all gurus can be wrong. So no one needs to listen to any guru? You have created this trend. It is not healthy. Your own gurus practiced Dorje Shugden their whole lives. Your own gurus were exemplary and highly learned.
Dalai Lama you have created so much pain with this ban against so many people due to religion. You are ageing fast. Are you going to do anything about it or stay stubborn, hard and un-moving. You show a smile and preach peace and harmony wherever you go. But will you do the same to your own people? Please rectify the wrong you have done. Please before it is too late. You can create harmony again or you can pass away in the future with this legacy of peace. May you live long and think carefully and admit what was a mistake in having this unethical ban against Dorje Shugden religion.

Why doesn’t the United States and its allies end Refugee Status for the useless Tibetans? They have been refugees for 60 years now and don’t tell me they still cannot get their lives back in order?
Tibetans really know how to put on a good show and use people, take their money and do nothing in return.

Supreme Court of India JUSTICE Mr. MARKANDEY KATJU (RETD) writes that Tibet is much better under the Chinese than it was under the lamas who only wanted to make the populace slaves. It was feudal and it will never return to the backwardness again.

While the government of Nepal has framed a policy to tighten the noose around non-governmental organisations, they have welcomed 30 Chinese NGOs to enter the country. These NGOs will penetrate the country’s social sector at the grassroots level. This is the first time such a large number of Chinese NGOs have entered Nepal at one time. Nepal is increasingly open to Chinese influence, a sign that ties between both countries are strengthening, while India’s influence is being reduced. The time has passed for India’s monopoly to remain uninterrupted in Nepal as opportunities to engage with China are being welcomed.

The cracks in Tibetan society are starting to show, and it is now coming to the attention of local Indians who have all but identified the Tibetan leadership as the source of the divisions. According to this author, disunity amongst the Tibetans is now creating problems for Indian law enforcement agencies, and this disunity may culminate in young Tibetans holding silent grudges against their host country. It is incredible that after six decades of generosity from India, Indians are now facing the very real possibility Tibetans can be ungrateful towards India. The Tibetan leadership totally failed to impart positive values upon their exiled community, like gratitude for those kindest to them and the need to repay these kindnesses with real, tangible results. It’s also very unlikely that the Tibetan leadership will now start to do this, after six decades of failing to do so. Indians need to realise this, and see that there is no benefit for their nation to align themselves with the Tibetan leadership, and there never will be.

Although the Dalai Lama has offered an apology, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) still expressed their disappointment over his controversial comment on Nehru, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC). Dalai Lama called Nehru self-centred.
The Congress said Dalai Lama being a foreigner should shun and refrain from interfering in the internal as well as external affairs of India.
