Two days following the conflicting news reports that their state Dharma protector is the “spirit” Dorje Shugden and then, Pelden Hlamo, the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) started another propaganda to divert the attention of media and protesters on the inhumane ostracization of Dorje Shugden practitioners. The CTA is now claiming that Dorje Shugden practitioners have caused security concerns to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and warned governments that the security of the Tibetan spiritual leader is under threat. They are trying to make Dorje Shugden practitioners look like a group of terrorists. This is total diversion from the point of the protests which is for religious rights and also trying to bring Shugden practitioners in a negative light at least with the various governments. Good tactic, but it will not work. No Shugden follower has any intentions to harm the Dalai Lama in any way as it defeats the purpose.
In fact, it should be the Dorje Shugden practitioners who should be worried for their own security. Two months ago, long-time assistant of His Holiness Trijang Rinpoche Gen Chonze was attacked by five men in Trijang Ladrang.
On what basis does the CTA claim that “Shugden practitioners have caused security concerns” to the Dalai Lama? All four demonstrations in San Francisco, Berkeley, Santa Clara and Los Angeles were peaceful protests. They were widely covered by media and clearly, there was not even a single aggression nor any signs of it. What the sincere and peaceful protestors wanted on those four demonstrations was religious freedom. It was very peaceful as clearly depicted in the videos. There were no sign that they threatened to harm the Dalai Lama.
Clearly, this is another tactic of the CTA diverting the Dorje Shugden ban by accusing Dorje Shugden practitioners that they are dangerous and wish to harm the Dalai Lama. Harming The Dalai Lama does not remove the ban nor fulfil their objective of lifting the ban for religious freedom. On the contrary, they wish for the Dalai Lama to be well, have a long life and fulfil their requests. This has always been their stance.
It would not be surprising that the CTA may stage an attempt to harm the Dalai Lama and immediately blame it on Dorje Shugden practitioners to divert the attention away from the inhumane suppression of religious freedom.
The CTA should focus on the main issue which is the ostracization of Dorje Shugden practitioners if they want international support for their political agenda. The ban is an infringement of religious freedom no matter how they want to justify it. Basic human rights are denied such as medical and education for Dorje Shugden practitioners in India and Nepal, while others followers of Dorje Shugden are spat on around the world.
The Dalai Lama travels the world, propagating peace, compassion and freedom. The Dalai Lama may not want to practice Dorje Shugden but he and the CTA have no right to stop others from basic civil rights of Dorje Shugden practitioners and also no right to continuously incite the ostracization of Dorje Shugden practitioners. At most talks The Dalai Lama gives, he will bring up the issue Dorje Shugden is evil or a spirit. Why repeat this over and over unless you are trying to incite the crowd. On one hand you say you have the freedom to practice, on the other hand the Dalai Lama mentions it is spirit practice. Confusing to the least. There were many requests for a peaceful dialogue to address the concerns and unjust treatment that were slammed down on Dorje Shugden practitioners. But The Dalai Lama and the CTA have blatantly ignored these requests for the last 18 years since the ban was instituted in 1996. Dorje Shugden practitioners have no other options but to bring this breach of human rights to the world via media and peaceful demonstrations.
The CTA may chase away and move protestors far from the entry/exit points of the Dalai Lama’s talks or warn security agencies that they are dangerous. However, Dorje Shugden practitioners will continue to protest peacefully and write to international papers, journalists, leaders, activists, etc continuously till the goal is reached. Someone will listen eventually. As a matter of fact, there has been vast media coverage as a result of these deliberate attempts to distant protestors from entrances of the venues of the recent talks by the Dalai Lama in Southern California. In fact more and more journalists are crowding around the protestors and asking what this ban is about. Many millions more will understand what the ban is about. More media are asking why the protestors are ‘parked’ far away. What is the CTA afraid of? You will not silence the Dorje Shugden practitioners and their right to civil liberties due to their religious faith. Remove the ban.
The CTA, please listen to our appeal and please do what is right. Nullify the ban now!

I’m trying to do some background research on the CTA and cannot even find its own charter on its own website. Why so shy?

Dear Soloman Lang,
The CTA has never been transparent or honest. It is not surprising they do not display their charter or make it easy to find.
Perhaps they are scrambling to remove the section in their charter concerning the civil liberties being disallowed to Dorje Shugden practitioners to save further embarrassment for their undemocratic laws? Therefore temporarily the site is down due to this?

I did find this summary of the charter which is rather amusing (the last line of the quoted paragraph):
“The salient features of the Charter incorporate non-violence, free democratic policy, respect for human rights, and the promotion of moral values while ensuring the material welfare of the Tibetan people. It also outlines the rights and responsibilities of the Tibetans in exile – including the ways to seek the resolution of the Tibet issue and how to bring happiness to the Tibetans inside Tibet. It provides for equal political rights and economic and social benefits in the exile community, including in the fields of education, culture and health.”

Dear Soloman Lang,
The charter summary is very amusing because the CTA contradicts their own charter quiet blatantly by removing all right of Dorje Shugden practitioners by evicting Shugden monks from monasteries, Shugden kids from schools, from government jobs, the ability to vote and so on. Shugden people are completely ostracized due to their religious beliefs. Every Tibetan is allowed the pursuit of happiness except Shugden devotees.

Wow, this looks like a very sad attempt in trying to manipulate the public into thinking Dorje Shugden practitioners as violent fanatical protestors. The author of this article (on Tibet Telegraph) really has to get his facts straight and show some honesty in his words, by simply accusing DS practitioners as violent he/she needs to show some hard evidence to their claims. From years of record, through history, since the ban had been placed there has only been violence acted on DS practitioners incited by the CTA and anti-ds.
Yet through the struggle of being ostracized from practicing Dorje Shugden, DS practitioners have continued to PEACEFULLY protest for religious freedom. Its ridiculous with all the violent reports acted on DS practitioners and there is so much proof on it.
The CTAs attempt to push away the protestors from H.H.D.L entrance and exit points at talks are just shameless acts. But still it doesn’t matter, with that tactic it has given the protestors the slight advantange to give the media an issue as to why are they being pushed back so far from the entrance. The CTA may push the protestors away but they can never push the media away from the truth.
For those who are new should do more research before coming to a conclusion of the ban and when you do, look at the difference of what allgeations the CTA has claimed to have happened without evident backing and what this website has to offer. There is a huge differance by the fact you can see more information to be presented with hard evidence of pictures, videos and reports while the CTA only has blatant accusations against DS practitioners and constantly just uses H.H.D.L statement on the ban. Don’t be fooled and seek for the truth!

With this new recent article as evidence to my statement, it shows the contradiction of H.H.D.L teachings and how much the CTA wants to shamefully hide the truth from the public.

It’s pretty incredible that since the CTA cannot dispute that the ban is unjust and illogical through knowledge and debate, they instead spread false rumours to further pollute the public’s mind in assuming that Dorje Shugden practitioners are here to create violence and harm, especially towards His Holiness. They are trying to create a false understanding in the mind of people taking a neutral stance so that they can cover up for theirs and His Holiness’s false truth that there is religious freedom for their people and Gelug practitioners at large.
Instead of assuming that His Holiness’s security is under threat, why don’t you look into the reason as to why the ban is unjust and illogical? Why not hold a dialogue with the millions of practitioners worldwide to debate on the logic and knowledge behind Dorje Shugden and the ban, as per monastic traditions of studying.
Why not address the issues as to why there are protests going on, and how best to arrive at a result which both parties will be happy with – i.e. remove the ban, because it doesn’t do both parties any good.
Why would Dorje Shugden practitioners want to harm His Holiness? If they really wanted to, why wait for so long, after the ban has been enforced for years?..they should’ve just harmed the Dalai Lama when he first intensified his stance against Shugden. It doesn’t make any sense why we would want to threaten the life of His Holiness only now, when there is increased coverage on this issue. It doesn’t serve the purpose of Shugden practitioners, who only want one thing from His Holiness – to remove the ban.
So please, CTA, before you do anything or spread assumptions, think of the consequence because by doing this, it only made CTA look much more foolish, especially now that there is a video on the violence which Tibetan Authorities organized against Shugden practitioners:

The CTA got it wrong. To be able to gain trust, alliance and support from the public, the CTA should rise to the occasion by practicing pure Dharma and setting an example of peace, compassion and wisdom. Instead of rising up, the CTA is working to push the opponents down to “win”. This approach and method in itself should reveal the true nature of the CTA.
Further reducing the credibility of the CTA is it’s consistent inability to respond to questions about the ban with fundamental logic or even factual supporting statements. Representatives of the CTA just make vague remarks that Dorje Shugden is a demon. But…on what basis is Dorje Shugden a demon? What evidence proves that Dorje Shugden is a demon?
On the contrary, there are many evidence to prove that Dorje Shugden practice is beneficial and empowering spiritually. A solid and tangible proof for this statement is the reincarnation of highly attained Dharma masters who were devoted Dorje Shugden practitioners in their previous lives such as Trijang Rinpoche and Zong Rinpoche. If Dorje Shugden is a demonic practice, then, His practitioners should be reborn in hell and not reincarnate as great Dharma teachers who are recognized by H.H the 14th Dalai Lama himself!
After trying to prove that Dorje Shugden is a demonic practice in vain for so many years, the CTA should really just leave the practitioners of the enlightened Protector to practice in peace if it wishes to save its last shred of dignity.

Antisocial Personality Disorder is also known as psychopathy or
sociopathy. Individuals with this disorder have little regard for the
feeling and welfare of others. As a clinical diagnosis it is usually
limited to those over age 18. It can be diagnosed in younger people
if the they commit isolated antisocial acts and do not show signs of
another mental disorder.
Antisocial Personality Disorder is chronic, beginning in adolescence
and continuing throughout adulthood. There are ten general
symptoms:
not learning from experience
no sense of responsibility
inability to form meaningful relationships
inability to control impulses
lack of moral sense
chronically antisocial behavior
no change in behavior after punishment
emotional immaturity
lack of guilt
self-centeredness
chronic lying
People with this disorder may exhibit criminal behavior. They may
not work. If they do work, they are frequently absent or may quit
suddenly. They do not consider other people’s wishes, welfare or
rights. They can be manipulative and may lie to gain personal
pleasure or profit. They may default on loans, fail to provide child
support, or fail to care for their dependents adequately. High risk
sexual behavior and substance abuse are common. Impulsiveness,
failure to plan ahead, aggressiveness, irritability, irresponsibility,
and a reckless disregard for their own safety and the safety of
others are traits of the antisocial personality.
Socioeconomic status, gender, and genetic factors play a role.
Males are more likely to be antisocial than females. Those from
lower socioeconomic groups are more susceptible. A family history
of the disorder puts one at higher risk.
There are many theories about the cause of Antisocial Personality
Disorder including experiencing neglectful parenting as a child, low
levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, and belief that
antisocial behavior is justified because of difficult circumstances.
Psychotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy are common
treatments. The effects of medical treatment are inconclusive.
Unfortunately, most people with Antisocial Personality Disorder
reject treatment. Therefore, recovery rates are low.
