In the latest shocking incident to take place in Dharamsala, the member of parliament (MP) Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar has been filmed violently attacking an American-Chinese tourist, a Ms. Wen Qi Zhu. MP Lhagyari ignored Ms. Zhu’s protestations that she is a student of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, continuing to attack her with her fists after a disagreement arose between the two women on the topic of Tibet’s history.
MP Lhagyari has been in the news quite a lot recently, and never for good reasons. She was seen in August 2017 attending an all-expenses paid rangzen conference in Paris, where she enjoyed nice hotels, cafes and sightseeing whilst gathering with other Tibetan rangzen activists to discuss strategies for a fully independent Tibet. Their meeting was in total opposition to the Dalai Lama’s umaylam approach (meaningful autonomy) which, as everyone knows, the Dalai Lama has strongly advocated for many years.
Clearly however, MP Lhagyari has no respect for the Dalai Lama, his advice and his decisions. Her attending the conference put her squarely in the company of the rangzen people whom ex-Prime Minister Samdhong Rinpoche has previously said are the most dangerous in Tibetan society.
So in these shocking images and video above, as first reported by Phayul, MP Lhagyari can be seen attacking a Chinese student of the Dalai Lama. The lady, a Chinese-born American citizen by the name of Wen Qi Zhu, had just had an audience with His Holiness when she was attacked. Ms. Zhu also happens to be a sponsor of the Tibetan leadership, having made financial contributions to the recent teachings given by His Holiness. Despite these facts being made evident to MP Lhagyari, she continued to attack Ms. Zhu. Surely anyone including Ms. Zhu, would have been shocked to attend Dalai Lama’s teachings on forgiveness, tolerance and love towards all beings including enemies and their Chinese brothers and sisters. Then when she walks out, she encounters displays by MP Lhagyari that she disagrees with and MP Lhagyari became violent. Does MP Lhagyari represent the Dalai Lama’s exiled government correctly? The Dalai Lama preaches tolerance but his MP Lhagyari enacts violence on the streets outside his temple where the teachings were just given. People who disagree with exiled government of Tibet hear one thing from the Dalai Lama and experience the opposite from his government members.
Questions have been raised about MP Lhagyari’s conduct, as she appears to be against anything the Dalai Lama supports. Not only does she advocate rangzen and gather with people who are against the Dalai Lama’s meaningful autonomy, but now she has also been caught on film attacking supporters and students of the Dalai Lama. Her behavior has been widely condemned as embarrassing of the Tibetan leadership and there are now calls for her resignation.
These are the facts:
- Regardless of whatever Ms. Zhu said, and whether MP Lhagyari agreed with it, her behavior was most unbecoming as a member of parliament and representative of the Dalai Lama’s government. Is this the version of democracy that the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA; Tibetan leadership) espouses, one characterized by intolerance and violence?
- Whatever the disagreement between the two ladies, Ms. Zhu was in India which is a democratic nation. Hence she was well within her rights to protest the exhibition. Likewise, if MP Lhagyari was going to establish an exhibition like that, she should have been prepared for opposition and learned how to deal with it properly. Even if Ms. Zhu did not agree with her, MP Lhagyari as a government official should have remained courteous and polite to someone who is a tourist and guest of India.
- The Tibetan leadership are therefore immature, ill-informed and ill-equipped to deal with dissenting views. If anyone does not agree with the beliefs, their method of dealing with them is arrogant violence.
- For the Tibetan leaders, democratic principles are only applicable when it suits them. When they want to promote their own ideas, or when it will impress potential sponsors to give them money, then they will roll out the red carpet to show how democratic they are. But when other people have their own, different beliefs, they are not allowed to have them and in that case, there is no democracy. This has been experienced by many in the Tibetan settlements who have seen their freedom of speech stifled and freedom of movement restricted over the years.
- MP Lhagyari’s inability to control her emotions, and to get proper authorities like the police to deal with incidents like these, makes her a poor candidate for any leadership position.
- If this is the type of person who occupies a seat in parliament, as someone with so much latent violence in their character, it is therefore extremely conceivable that the CTA is very capable of organizing the same type of violence against anyone else who does not agree with their views. An example of this are Dorje Shugden practitioners who have been rioted against, stabbed, murdered and segregated against.
- The CTA have so many policies that divide and segregate their own people on the basis of religion. Now they are getting some of their own karma back, why are they upset?
It remains to be seen how China will react to this latest incident but China may just bring up this incident as yet another reason to deny dialogue with the Tibetan leadership. After all, why open dialogue with a group of people who so violently and physically attack Chinese-born individuals?
As for MP Lhagyari herself, she is now in a no-win situation. She is a very bad representative of the Tibetan government-in-exile. As a member of parliament of the Tibetan government-in-exile in Dharamsala, she should understand and know how to deal politely with people against her views and not retaliate in violence with any member of the public. She can easily ask for the police which are nearby to intervene. The police stations are very nearby. MP Lhagyari and some Tibetans expressed shock that even in the Dalai Lama’s headquarters of Dharamsala, someone ‘dare’ opposes their view of Tibetan history. This shows pure arrogance and ignorance which is reflective of the Tibetan leaders in Dharamsala located in Himachel Pradesh state of North India. The American-Chinese national was not happy that Tibetans paint all Chinese in the wrong light and indeed not all Chinese agreed with the policy and events in Tibet. MP Lhagyari would not hear of this. No one is allowed to question, doubt or be in opposition of MP Lhagyari’s views which represents her exiled government’s views. If they do, violence breaks out as you see here. This is the Tibetan government-in-exile’s version of democracy. It is no wonder after 60 years of being ‘refugees’ they still cannot make any headway with China regarding Tibet. Who stays refugees for 60 years anyway unless staying a ‘refugee’ brings in free sympathy money from ignorant foreigners?
Thanks to MP Lhagyari’s actions, the CTA or exiled Tibetan government is now a laughing stock of the world. The Tibetan leadership has to learn to accept that the world is not going to agree with them on everything anymore. After 60 years of playing the refugee card to gain sympathy, while living the high life in India and immigrating all over the world, there is very little sympathy left for them. MP Lhagyari should resign and or apologize if she wishes to be dignified and represent the Tibetan government-in-exile as civilized and educated.

The Chinese woman was wrong to rip up posters, but she just came out from the teachings of the Dalai Lama saying he and his Tibetans embrace their Chinese counterparts. Then she is affronted with the posters painting ALL Chinese in a bad light. She is from Hong Kong and not China mainland. She supports the Dalai Lama and Tibet but to paint all Chinese in a bad light is wrong. She was letting the MP Lhagyari know, but as usual Lhagyari would not have it. The Tibetan MP Lhagyari was very violent and reacted so undignified for being a member of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s parliament.
Many Tibetans say MP Lhagyari is a agent of China.🇨🇳
In fact Lhagyari is against the Dalai Lama as you can read here clearly: http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/news/tibetan-mp-juchen-konchok-and-friends-oppose-the-dalai-lamas-middle-way/

Tibetan parliament MP Ms Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar attacks Chinese Dalai Lama student.
Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar who is an MP of the Tibetan ‘parliament’ in Dharamsala seems to like to make trouble. She was recently in Paris on an all-expense-paid luxury trip to have meetings against the Dalai Lama’s middle way. They stayed in nice hotels, enjoyed the cafes and went sight-seeing also. She and other independence (rangzen) activists gathered together to have a meeting on how to oppose the Dalai Lama’s middle way. If you are having a meeting on rangzen, then naturally you are opposing the Dalai Lama’s views. She is against the Dalai Lama as blatantly as it can get. She advocates full independence for Tibet which Professor Samdhong Rinpoche the former prime minister said is very dangerous. 🇨🇳Samdhong Rinpoche said clearly that Rangzen activists and supporters are the most dangerous people in Tibetan society. Because they go against what the Dalai Lama is asking the world to support which is autonomy of Tibet under China. Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar is seen in these pictures in October 2017 in Dharamsala fighting violently with a female Chinese tourist from the USA. 😠This Chinese woman Ms. Wen Qi Zhu had just had audience with the Dalai Lama as you can see in the pictures. But when she left the audience after blessings she was affronted by a CTA member Ms. Lhagyari violently on the streets just below the Dalai Lama’s nose. A random video was taken of this event and in the video Ms. Wen Qi Zhu was saying she is also a student of the Dalai Lama. She has also contributed to the donations of the recent teachings by Dalai Lama to cover the expenditure.😡
Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar is an MP of the CTA and she should conduct herself with more decorum and good manners since she is representing the Dalai Lama’s government. Often they are violent. Of course Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar has the democratic rights to post, protest and speak for Tibet in Dharamsala, but she should also be ready for opposition. Opposition even in Dharamsala must be tolerated as it is a democratic India. 👍Some may be shocked someone opposes Ms. Lhagyari’s views in Dharamsala the headquarters of the Dalai Lama, but that just shows you how arrogant some Tibetans may be thinking if you oppose their views, they can violently strike back. Democracy only works for Tibetans so they think and it should not work against them is their convoluted thinking. Many in the audience may not agree with Ms. Lhagyari Namygal Drolkar’s views on Tibet and as an elected official of the Tibetan government, she should be more courteous, polite and explain things well and not resort to a catfight with a paying tourist. After all she is the official and representative of the government. She should educate the masses and not violently fight with them. She should resign as obviously she is not fit for this job.👎 It is a disgrace and shame. After all the paying tourist Ms. Wen Qi Zhu has every right to protest back or speak against the view of Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar, since India is democratic and allows freedom of speech which goes both ways.👍 Some Tibetans have to learn manners, being polite and accepting that the world is not going to agree with them on everything anymore. Tibetans have to accept their 60 years of playing up the refugee card while living well in India and immigrating all over the world will not gain sympathy anymore. The CTA or Tibetan government in exile have many policies that divide and segregate their own people on the basis of religion so now that they are getting some of their own karma back, why are they upset?🙏

Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar is an MP of the CTA and she should immediatly resign and give honor to the disonorable CTA or Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamsala. She is an elected official. She should not fight with the tourists and spectators. If she is going to post things about Tibet, she has accept there will be people who do not accept what she is posting and be ready for opposition but not using violence. If the spectator gets violent, then Ms. Lhagyari should immediately go to the police and run from the scene. The police station is very nearby. Do not stand around and have violent interaction with people walking by. It does not look good as an MP of the Tibetan government in exile under the Dalai Lama. MP Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar is a disgrace and should resign.👎

It is amazing Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar is an MP of the Tibetan REFUGEE government and yet she has obtained an Indian citizenship. How come she can claim refugee benefits and live on refugee designated land in Dharamsala and not be a refugee and still get a passport? In fact the Tibetan Minister restricts Tibetans to get Indian citizenship as you can read here clearly- http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/tibetan-leadership-sabotages-indian-citizenship/
Looks like for the Tibetan government there is one rule and another for the ordinary Tibetan.

Isn’t Mr. PM Lobsang Sangay and his Sharling Dhardon going to comment on MP Lhagyari la and her extreme violence on the streets of Dharamsala?
Mr Sangay and Ms. Dhardon was last seen at the five star Taj Mahal hotel in the VARQ restaurant in Delhi together. They often go for dinners together and alone. They are very close and she got her position due to the ‘kindness’ of Mr. Sangay the PM of Tibetan government. 🇨🇳👍😍

When I first heard that the CTA member Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar went for a rangzen meeting in Paris, my respect for her went downhill. How could someone within the Tibetan leadership in exile went against the Dalai Lama’s middle way so blatantly after everything the Dalai Lama did for them. Without His Holiness, the incapable CTA and their members are nothing as the Dalai Lama is their biggest magnate of attraction. Shameful!
And now this barbaric Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar is attacking a Dalai Lama’s student who came for a blessing. Chinese or not, this lady came for blessings. Instead of helping to increase this woman’s faith in the Dalai Lama, Ms Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar, attacked this woman and presented the Dalai Lama in the bad light once more. Ms. Lhagyari could not even control herself to pretend to be civil.
Now I am personally convinced that Ms. Lhagyari is being paid by someone to discredit the Dalai Lama and to destroy the CTA. By doing this alone, most civilized people will be disgusted with her and the CTA. It may potentially affect the financial aid to run the Tibetan government in exile. What a shameful woman!

What a hypocrisy. Lhagyari Namgyal herself goes to the Rangzen meetings whose objective is against the Dalai Lama’s Umaylam, and here she is acting all holy and for the Dalai Lama? You guys should really read this article and you will realise the hypocrisy of the CTA: http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/news/tibetan-mp-juchen-konchok-and-friends-oppose-the-dalai-lamas-middle-way/
If she is really for the Dalai Lama, she would have settled the issue rationally without bringing this to the public’s eyes and make the Dalai Lama look bad. I mean come on, common sense people, if there’s someone protesting in the crowd right in front of the President/ leader of the country, do you allow all these havocs to happen right in front of him or would you calm the person down and bring him or her out to the other room and deal with it? How they do things really does not reflect the Dalai Lama very well, shame shame.

Lhagyari Namgyal’s action brings shame to Tibetans and the Dalai Lama, especially as a Member of Parliament (MP). Instead of creating awareness about Tibetan cause and welfare, she is attacking a visitor, who is a student of the Dalai Lama.
It is obvious that Lhagyari Namgyal is against the Dalai Lama by attending Rangzen conference in France, and then instead of explaining so that a visitor (Chinese or not) knows more and sympathize with the Tibetan cause and welfare, she pisses a tourist off, especially one that is a student of the Dalai Lama. I think her luxury trip to France to support Tibetan independence is a clear sign that she is disloyal, and is betraying the Dalai Lama’s policy. Read here for more details: http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/news/tibetan-mp-juchen-konchok-and-friends-oppose-the-dalai-lamas-middle-way/
I believe this innocent Chinese woman just wants Tibetans to have peace and unity with the Chinese. A friend who understand Chinese said that the Chinese woman said something about “I am a Chinese (national), I am also a Tibetan” – although it was not very clearly audible. Lhagyari Namgyal should resign and quit the Tibetan government. This would infuriate the Chinese government and create more problems for autonomy (Middle Way policy) that the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan administration have worked very hard to get every Tibetan in exile to support.

Hello everyone, specially to our CTA Taxi union president Lobsang Sangay and his beneficiary Kashag members and followers,
I am Chokyi I worked in Exile government 15 years.
When Lobsang Sangay fcame to Dharamsala leadership, I researched 2 years through what I have seen and what I listened from him personally. Lobsang Sangay have no personal skill and capability to solve the issues of Tibetans in India. He have only a paper degree from Harvard that’s called R….R….R, which means big talk in Tibetan. I feel so much pity on those uneducated Tibetans who set themselves on fire and burned their bodies. Each self-immolation brought a huge benefit to CTA financially. After every self-immolation Lobsang Sangay and his Kashag members have tour programs under the name of Tibetan political issues to introduce to western countries. Mostly, they travel first/business class. But, once they reached destination Lobsang Sangay asked donations to CTA. This is Sangay’s number 1 capability to ask donors in the name of self- immolation. So, I have known much better what Lobsang Sangay real doing. That’s why I resigned from my post and living independently in US now. Here I humbly request to all ordinary Tibetan people in exile. Plz go to apply for western or Indian citizenship as soon as possible. This is only way how you and your children survive a better life. Don’t listen CTA leaders big talks. Becoz, when you don’t have money to pay your children’s school fees. CTA can’t help you. When your father got serious sickness CTA can’t help you. When your mother died CTA can’t help you. But, CTA will use you for donations in name of seeking help for Tibetans. That donations they will corrupt at the end. Therefore, do something for yourself. Don’t let others use you. This is real experience that I got from CTA in 15 years working from down to earth. Don’t waste your life in CTA’s misuses.

Remember how MP Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar went to Paris last month for a rangzen meeting against the Dalai Lama’s policy of Middle Way or autonomy. 😣❓🇨🇳
She went on a all expense paid, first class flight to Paris, France enjoying luxurious hotel accommodations, good restaurants, prime tourist destinations and the sole purpose is to join in on a rangzen meeting with her other PM friends. It was published in the Tibetan media Phayul.com first: http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/news/tibetan-mp-juchen-konchok-and-friends-oppose-the-dalai-lamas-middle-way/

For me my wish is for Tibet to be free from Chinese rule and for us to be able to return home. I realise that there is slim chance and so every opportunity to add to our chance is important.
Lately, this website has made many comments about the CTA when previously it only focused on the dolgyal matter. I cannot say I agree with everything but like in this case, I am ashamed to say we don’t have enough good leaders and some like Lhagyari Namgyal is creating more shame than benefit.
This was an opportunity to show the world that our Tibetan leaders have the professional attitude to run a country but instead I see a CTA leader behaving in a shameful way.
So many scandals about CTA people and also those close to His Holiness. And Sikyong Lobsang Sangay does not seem to want to correct the mistakes. Instead of doing only dolgyal matter, he should clean up his own parliament and cabinet.

By now, it should already be clear to everyone. The “Tibetan Independence Struggle” is not a true cause. Perhaps in the beginning, it was and there were members of the Tibetan leadership who truly believed in it. Those days are gone and today, the movement or whatever they like to canvass it as, it is just business.
The louder the noise those like Lhagyari make, the more money they receive from those who are using the CTA as leverage against China. So why would Lobsang Sangay do anything? Are we still doubting that Lobsang Sangay is only out for the money?
I gave up on the Tibetan struggle a few years after Sangay became Kalon Tripa. It was clear that Tibetans were never going to be free with a leadership team as self-serving and corrupt as this and when I see unprofessional behavior like this, I know I made the right decision to walk about from supporting the Tibetan cause.
Is this the calibre of leadership who is going to deal with 6 million Tibetan people and a whole host of geo-political and economic issues?
Lhagyari Namgyal can’t even handle one Chinese tourist.

What a shame to MP Lhagyari and CTA leadership as her attack to the American-Chinese who came for blessing and as well as a sponsor to HH Dalai Lama being treated with violent.
MP Lhagyari act is jeopardizing His Holiness teaching and create more fire between Tibetan and China and this obviously show that MP Lhagyari is paid to against His Holiness.

What’s wrong if Lhagyari Drolkar supports Rangzen and Tibetan independence? Do you think Tibetans will have a good life under the CCP of China?
How many years we the injis have been paying and supporting Tibetan cause, giving residence, fighting for Free Tibet? Until today, we are still giving money from our pockets. The Tibetans do nothing to appreciate our help, take our donation and now they want autonomy and go back to China with this Middle Way.
Now you say Rangzen (independence) activists are “a bit more dangerous than the Chinese Communists or the Dhogyal practitioners”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tn62-WmDFg4

Other people who have left comments here have said that they their estimation of Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar went down after they heard she attended that Rangzen conference, and went down even further after reading this article and seeing the video. Well… knowing what the Tibetan leadership is actually like, this really comes as no surprise to me. The Tibetan community are always talking about how their leaders are corrupt and violent. This is just another example of how the leaders suppress people that do not do what they say or believe what they say. Sadly they do this a lot to their own people as well.
It is not just physical violence, they create huge divisions amongst their own people in terms of locations, such as Tibetans from one area of Tibet being biased against another; among religious beliefs such as the ban on Dorje Shugden and interfering with the Karmapa issue. These issues affect the ordinary Tibetan on a day to day level, from where they can eat, shop, or receive education or even medical care. They are the modern day epitome of the divide and conquer mentality. Which is a shame, because in the modern day and age, this isn’t the way to lead people. It never has been, but even more so now in the age of information, when it is so easy to expose them. Shame on them for the suffering they cause to their own people.

Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar is stupid! Her rough, loud and offensive talk does not win any support and it certainly would not quell or subdue the equally loud and defensive Chinese Ms Zhu. It looks like she has met her match and I hope she is ready for lots of opposition as she is taken the Rangzen pro-independence stance that counters the Dalai Lama. It gives her the opportunity to feel with it is like to be Shugden practitioner. With more Dalai Lama followers experience discrimination first hand so they know what it feels like and that when given the chance, they might do something to remove the ban.

Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar, an MP of the Tibetan ‘parliament’ in Dharamsala was seen attacking a Dalai Lama’s student, sponsor and supporter – all dignity and respect of the Dalai Lama and CTA went down the drain by her action. She brings great shame in her representation. Being a democrat, surely she must apologise and resign. She is dangerous. Also she is rangzen and is against the Dalai Lama’s wish for a meaningful autonomy of Tibet under China.
Violence instead of tolerance and peace are always displayed by CTA and its representatives. These people defy the Dalai Lama’s teaching. Always painting the Chinese in a bad light, always bad mouthing them, always throwing rotting eggs on them, will they ever even secure a dialogue with China for their cause?
My heart goes to the ordinary Tibetans who are trapped in the Tibetan refugee camps. Surely it is time for them to find their own way out of this unfortunate predicament before it is too late. It is best they go for an Indian or Chinese citizen where they can enjoy the full perks of her citizenship rather than being made used by the CTA and struggle for a living.
I will not be surprised if one day CTA Lobsang Sangay one day come to realise there are no one left behind for him to rule.

🤣🤣🤣 CTA truly ambarrased His Holiness the Dalai Lama for the behaviour of this MP from CTA attacking Ms. Zhu at the street Who’s CTA own sponsor, tourist and also student to His Holiness. I
f someone like PM Llagyari can lost her mind and reacted violently in this way, what can we say about the CTA? Why so violent even after a nice Free holiday from Paris? Putting up some cheap posters and trying to pretend you have done your work as a PM? But then went crazy because being told not right?
So this is the strategy about free Tibet? No wonder after more than 150 burning them self till death, what CTA did was just went to the victims and pay respect. Told them they are Tibet’s HEROES!! Yay!!! They sacrificed their lives because they believed in their leaders but didn’t they know their leadership did nothing for freeing Tibet. Not even close. Because their behaviour is lousy and they only want money for themselves.
Why does China such a big and developed country would want to meet people like PM Llagyari? You yourself is not serious about it, why should China meet you? They got so many leaders in the world to meet why CTA? What do you have to offer other than His Holiness’s life? His Holiness is old now, why can’t CTA grow up and behave like adults.
The only reason after 60 years CTA still behave like this because they simply enjoy maintaining their people as refugees so that they can enjoy receiving money from foreigners! They used His Holiness to make money for them. His Holiness being sold my them to give talk and get money. His Holiness is very compassionate to help, since day one escaped from Tibet, His Holiness brought everybody along, after settled down in India, He promoted Dharma, love, harmony and no violent all over the world. His Holiness gained respect and brought money back to CTA to feed his refugees in India yet money walloped by the greedy CTA. It’s ok.. His Holiness continue to work tirelessly and selflessly for his people. His heart broken seeing Tibetan burning themselves to death for Tibet.
Didn’t you all realise that Free Tibet is not going to happen because CTA didn’t do enough before, didn’t do anything but splitting Tibetan now and after they have used up all their tricks, they will the money and leave India, enjoy good life in countries like Paris and USA!

I agree with Wangmo that this was an opportunity to show the world that our Tibetan leaders have the professional attitude and worthy to run a country but instead what an embarrassing behaviour, so violent and so narrow minded and shameful. The CCP will sure be laughing at us now. So silly of the Tibetans who circulate and put this video up. Make them look more like barbarians, no wonder we lost our country.
CTA is not only corrupt, they have silly leaders that don’t behave professionally. Thank you Lhagyari Namgyal for making Tibetans look like they are really from a village and not decent people at all. Imagine if this is the quality of the people in CTA, what more the people under them in general. Seriously, do you think world leaders are going to bother with us after His Holiness is gone? CTA might as well start packing up now.
Thanks again for making Tibetans look like

I have never liked the Tibetan leadership, they are inefficient and many of them are corrupted. Those who are in power enjoys good life using the money that is supposed to be for Tibetan people. They have houses, lands and foreign passports that allow them to move freely all around world while normal Tibetans have only a refugee document. Indian government wants to take Tibetans as their citizens but yet the Tibetan leadership forbid them to get one! And now a hooligan politician who beat up a tourist, a sponsor of His Holiness. There are many evidence that this woman, Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar, and her MP rangzen friends are against the Dalai Lama’s middle way. No person with a good conscience can enjoy all expenses luxurious trip to France to make sure the Dalai Lama’s middle way lose its footing and credibility. There seems to be a widening rift between the Tibetan Government, CTA, and HH Dalai Lama, as the former show their true colours.Whatever disgraceful behaviour and anti Dalai Lama attitude is shown by MP Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar, is reflective of the general attitude and insolence of the CTA.It would appear that violence has become endemic with the CTA, as seen in the violence meted by them and their supporters towards Shugden practitioners.
MP Lhagyari did not even pause to think that if one really held deep respect for HH Dalai Lama, one would also treat his students with respect. But like most other CTA members, it only mattered that whatever view MP Lhagyari held be supported unquestionably by all others. She would brook no opposition. Hence.when Ms Zhu, an American-Chinese student of Dalai Lama disagreed with her, she instantly flared up and became violent toward her!
Now that the CTA is being showcased in an unflattering, indeed ugly light by MP LHagyari, isn’t it time for them to reinvent themselves and present themselves to all as respectful and respectable people? Respect must be earned first. Start earning it . Humbly and with respect to the Chinese government, who are respected by all who wish to see progress for their countrymen and women, resume negotiations with China for an autonomous Tibet, as the Dalai Lama has stated.

How CTA want to get support from the world? Truly showed that how violent and no democracy CTA is. Shame!👎

The Tibetan leadership is nothing but a bunch of codified gangsters who have been scrubbed up a little, given a title and told that they are leaders. I used to sponsor children in the settlements but if this is the education I’m paying for and this is how they are being taught to behave and this is the result, I won’t be doing it any more. The world needs more harmony and more people promoting unity. We don’t need more hooligans and hoodlums.

Have CTA ran out of people and resources? Why do they need to go down to this level electing this Lhagyari as an MP?? Is this even democratically elected by the way?? Shame on her for doing that!

Beijing should stop all flights and tourists from going to India until India tells Dalai to manage his people properly. India should not let Dalai stay there. Dalai is a Chinese citizen. In China, if any of our leaders behaved like this, they would not have a job the next day. China will never allow our leaders to behave like this. All of them must behave with manners and civility because they represent China! If this lady represents Tibetans and Dalai, I don’t think they are capable to be leaders of their society.

This is how Tibetan leadership treat sponsors and Dalai Lama students. Being a politician should be professional to face confrontation & disagreement from opposition. How you want people to agree with you is to show reason in peace and calm with respect. This Chinese lady is a foreigner, sponsor and also Dalai Lama student. Isn’t Tibetan leadership should be more respectful in their hospitality? How would CTA wants the world to support them with such attitude?

Guys! You shouldn’t be surprised that the Tibetan MPs behave like this: uneducated, barbaric and rude. In the Kashag, there are:
1. Lobsang Sangay who is not interested in Tibetans welfare but cunningly seeks all opportunities to feed his own pocket and his romantic affair with Dhardon Sharing;
2. Penpa Tsering who is a human trafficker, murderer, sex maniac etc.;
3. Topgyal Tseting who goes against the Indian government and not corporate in the paperwork for Indian passport application;
4. Dolma Gyari who bought herself an Indian passport at 50,000 rupees happily enjoys benefits as both Indian citizenship and Tibetan kalon but refuses to allow fellow Tibetans to apply for Indian citizenship;
5. Dhardon Sharing who knows nothing about politics and any international issues but a puppet of the Dorje Shugden ban and a sex slave of Lobsang Sangay to secure all her benefits as a kalon;
6. Tethong Wangpo who swore to fight for the welfare of Tibetan ended in comfortable life in Switzerland joined the anti-Dalai Lama rangzen group to bite the fingers who fed his luxury fat body…
and now Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar who randomly attacked the Dalai Lama’s student because of her nationality, showing her public conduct that is outright racist.
Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar went to the recent rangzen conference held in Paris where Tethong Wangpo was part of, and looked all decent and sweet in her presentation. In the backstreet back in Dharamsala, in fact right under the nose of His Holiness’s abode in Dharamshala, she picked up a Chinese woman randomly and get violent with the woman for the Tibetan’s issues. Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar’s behavior is no different from the low class gangster or school bullies who simply pick up people they deemed weak to be a victim of their own emotions.
In the video, Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar behaves like a school bullies with a group of ignorant and stupid Tibetans who joined in blindly because of Lhagyari Namgyal Drolkar and accused the Chinese woman for all the bad that the Chinese leadership has done to the Tibetans. Well, it was the leadership fault that has nothing to do with the women in the first place! Then you have another stupid Tibetan recorded this event on video camera with narration making the scene into some kind of big issue.
I don’t know about you, but this is just another scene that the backward and stupid Tibetans MPs do to further degrade their capabilities and credibilities. If you are donating to the Tibetan cause (maybe Middle way, maybe Rangzen until the Tibetans get united and decide once and for all what to do for themselves), you should not trust this kind of Tibetan Leadership candidates and President to use your hard-earned money, taxes and donations wisely. There are way more meaningful causes you can donate to but for sure not to this group of barbarians in the Tibetan Leadership where your money will be burnt into ashes!

Tibetan Leadership MP Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar attended the Fourth International Rangzen Conference in Paris that promotes anti-Dalai Lama sentiments in the noble name of Tibetan Independence, shamelessly going against the Dalai Lama’s middle way in seeking autonomy under the Chinese rules.
As an MP, she flew first class, have all expenses fully paid by the Tibetan Leadership in Paris. She was put in the best and luxurious hotel like Hilton Paris Opera that is USD350 per night, with good food and travelled around prime tourist destinations including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Louvre that charge high entrance fees which should all be secondary but emphasised instead of focusing on the objective of the rangzen meeting. Her other friends joined her at the meeting and it was published in the Tibetan media Phayul.com first: http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/news/tibetan-mp-juchen-konchok-and-friends-oppose-the-dalai-lamas-middle-way/
See photos of her friends MP Juchen Konchok, MP Monlam Tharchin, and former MP Tethong Wangpo who joined in the anti-Dalai Lama Rangzen meeting and enjoyed the luxury trip to France. What a reward for going against the Dalai Lama’s Middle Way!

Puntsok Dhargye,
I didn’t know Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) officers misuse the funds (donations for the welfare of Tibetans and preserving Tibetan tradition by the public and foreign aid) in this manner, to fly first class to Paris and enjoy themselves like Lhagyari Namgyal did, spending the funds meant for Tibetan welfare? Thank you for sharing this link, I think more people should read about this: http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/news/tibetan-mp-juchen-konchok-and-friends-oppose-the-dalai-lamas-middle-way/
Anyway, Lhagyari Namgyal was Chief Guest at the conference and was quoted to say that one must always remember that the heart of our struggle is fighting for independence. Why is she going against the Dalai Lama’s Middle Way of aiming for autonomy and not independence? Why is she and other Rangzen (independence) supporters going against the Dalai Lama? This is so wrong, especially when she is an MP, shows no solidarity among the TIbetan leaders in exile. She really should quit the CTA.

How would a member of parliament acts in this disgraceful and disrespect way? From the film can see Ms Zhu became impatience when arguing with Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar, however as a MP while facing with guest from foreign country she should be more polite, and try to convince Zhu why she protest, and her rights to present history Tibet as it politely. But she failed to do so.
Even the people around Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar especially a man holding both of Zhu’s hands, showed that both of them (may be Tibetan leaders as a whole) when facing with disagreement, they are not able to react in polite way instead react in a violent way. They failed to understand disagreement does not means Zhu is the enemy, or they must fight with Zhu to “protect” their stands and opinions.
No matter what, Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar failed to represent the Dalai Lama & Tibetan government well, people around her failed represent Tibetans well.
That kind of mentality that you cannot have different opinions should be eliminated in order to become a progressive and democratic society. When you accused China is oppressive and you turn your back and show the oppressive face to others as well, it’s hard to convince people you are the victim, and fight for your cause.

This is not surprising. This shows Tibetan leaders are very well and familiar with all these violence, especially organised and structured violence towards the dissidents. They are so impatience and totally cannot accept when people confront them with even a different opinion or view. They talk no logic and rational, they allow no differences. Just like they cannot accept Dorje Shugden people, cannot accept other voices. But they want people to accept them as unique and special, they want Beijing government to allow minority to keep their own cultures, religion and etc. The concept of acceptance and democracy is not apply to all rules, see what situation fits and benefit them then they apply.

What Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar did is against His Holiness. Why she goes against middle way and attacked His Holiness’ sponsor? This is rude. Should not happen. Do you attack your guest step in your house? People’s laugh stock. Bring shame to Tibetans. We do not want leaders who are uncivilised and showing bad example. Please apologise and step down.

This sort of incident is not something new. There are a lot of such incidents happened in the past but this is the first time i see an elected MP doing that. As we can see from the video, Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar is a nasty person and don’t deserve to be serving CTA. CTA will fall even more flat with this sort of ‘leaders’ at helm.

What happened to Tibetan Kashak CTA govt talks with Chinese government? Why Sikyong Lobsang Singgi-la have no result when even Samdong Rinpoche managed a few talks with China. This is not acceptable. Tibetan cause cannot go backwards now. It must go forward and have result.

😱 I cant believe this was happen, and so sad to see this.
Ms. Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar is an MP of the CTA and as a Buddhist, how come can do like this to attack & bully people.
Buddhist should respect and compassion to treat every one.

Disgraceful and that is the standard of the MPs of CTA. People who bully others just because they do not share their point of view.
Lhugyari Namgal Dolkar behaves like a hooligan, not with the graceful diplomacy of an officer of CTA. Obviously she does not practise democracy and does not like anyone who differs from her.
Ms. Wen Qi Zhu is from America where freedom of speech and differences in opinions are encouraged. A country of democracy. Poor Ms Zhu, in Dharamsala even when you know the Dharma King, HH the 14th Dalai Lama, does not give you any preference and freedom of speech. You are a part of CTA disrespect for the Dalai Lama and it shows.
Sad sad state of affairs with CTA.

In the video, when Ms Chu shouted said “She is HH Dalai Lama’s student”, but she was still being caught hold of her hands and being attacked. For this instance, I personally think if MP Lhagyari is HH Dalai Lama’s student, she should have good practice of kindness, tolerance, respect and unconditional love and many other good qualities as what have taught by Buddha and HH Dalai Lama. Buddhism promotes peace and harmony, but MP Lhagyari’s actions may lead her breaking the vows and the samaya with her guru.
If MP Lhagyari is not HH Dalai Lama’s student and merely a member of parliament, she must has great aspirations and fair idea in relating to the public welfare, issues concerned the country and so forth. As a member of parliament, she needs to adhere to the rules just as lawyers and doctors have shared standards across the profession. But, what MP Lhagyari has done was totally different and disgraceful.

Unbelievable! This is an act of hooligan, not members of parliament. As an MP, she is the representative of the people; she should behave accordingly. Or, is she trying to tell the world, this is how Tibetans in exile behave? This brought the question if a young and educated MP behave this way, is it a typical act for anyone in Tibetans in exile community to violently attack anyone who dares to voice out their differing opinions.
And the person whom MP Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar attacked is none other than the student and sponsor of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. There is no regard for the students and sponsors of the God King of Tibet?

Such disgrace! Even as an MP she can’t carry herself well. Whatever it was, you shouldn’t argue but explain in an educated manner. How embarrassing to be caught on video and letting the world know how members of CTA behave. Low and uneducated like many other ordinary Tibetans that are paid to go around harassing Shugden practitioners on various social media. The world is watching. I don’t usually comment but this is just unbelievable and I wonder if those pictures are real or not. Feeding rubbish to innocent people

First, MP Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar attends a Rangzen conference. (which cannot be any more anti-Dalai Lama)
Then, she attacks another person, who happens to be HH Dalai Lama’s student.
It’s no wonder that CTA is making Dorje Shugden the scapegoat to cover for the lack of progress in regaining Tibet. How can CTA progress with the quality of MPs like MP Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar? No superpower would support a government who supports self-immolation and has MPs who are openly violent, to the extend of bashing people up.
