All the signs are there, pointing to the implosion of the Tibetan leadership. In recent times, Tibetans have learned about US$1.5 million that was embezzled by one of the Dalai Lama’s closest aides, Tenzin Dhonden, who was also implicated in a sexual scandal. Incensed by news about the abrupt dismissal of Penpa Tsering from his post as the Dalai Lama’s representative in North America, Tibetans have also been busy protesting against Sikyong Lobsang Sangay. They claim that Sangay, as the Prime Minster of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA; Tibetan leadership in Dharamsala), spearheaded and masterminded Penpa Tsering’s dismissal and swift replacement.
Simultaneously, there are those who support Lobsang Sangay, who assert that for his “performance deficit” and insubordination towards the leadership. They, in turn, have launched counter-protests against Penpa Tsering and his supporters. Now the people are protesting against Tenpa Yarphel, the member of Parliament who previously criticized the CTA’s reliance on Nechung as archaic and irrelevant, and unbefitting of the ideals of a democracy. Are you keeping up yet? If you are confused, then realize that your confusion is the result of the CTA’s machinations over the last 60 years.
- The fact is that the CTA have spent the last six decades drawing divisions wherever possible. Whether it is fostering regionalism, splitting the Karma Kagyus in half over the Karmapa issue, refusing equal representation to the Jonangpas, or encouraging their people to segregate Dorje Shugden practitioners, the CTA’s raison d’etre with their people has always been to divide and conquer them, and in the process to profit from doing so. And now that there are so many divisions from every angle, it has become nigh near impossible for the CTA to handle them or deal with them all at once
- Consider that the Tibetan exiled population is somewhere just over 128,000, with the majority of them (94,000) based in India. Any observer will easily surmise that there is a distinct lack of unity amongst the community. If the CTA is unable to keep unity amongst these 128,000 exiled Tibetans, how will they ever rule six million if they ever accomplish their political goals? If they can alienate people from such a small population, what will happen if they ever gain control of six million?
- And seeing the shambles that is their leadership, it is highly doubtful that China will ever grant any kind of meaningful autonomy to the Tibetans because to do so would be creating a potential hotspot for instability within China. If the CTA cannot control their people or fostering harmony in their small exiled society, they will not be able to do it in Tibet. So what government would knowingly and purposefully allow instability to be created like that within their own borders?
- These days, instead of protesting against external enemies, the Tibetans spend more time protesting against their own government and their own people who have broken up into different factions. One by one, each potential leader is being protested against and on top of that, they broke election rules to disqualify Lukar Jam from running in the last race to become Prime Minister. As each leader loses the confidence of the people and is alienated from any kind of power base, over time, there will be no one left who can lead.
- If this political disharmony exists WHILE His Holiness the Dalai Lama is alive, imagine when he is gone and the Tibetans have no one else to turn to, whom they will near-universally take the advice of. At such a time, there is no doubt these power struggles will rise to the surface, perhaps bringing violence to the Tibetan community who are already vitriolic in their beliefs when the Dalai Lama is still around to calm them down and keep them united.
It is clear that independent of the Dalai Lama and the respect the Tibetans have for him, the CTA have no real control or leadership over their people. What is more, they have no interest in developing this leadership and in fact, for the most part, the violence and disharmony we witness in the community is often fanned by the leadership themselves. But is any of this any surprise when the leadership are keen to weaken the people to ensure no one becomes powerful enough to challenge them and their ways? Is any of this any surprise when the leadership purposefully suppresses their people and keeps them as refugees in order to continue exploiting them for donations? More Tibetans should realize that the present situation is all caused by the CTA and realize that as long as the same people are in power, nothing is ever going to change. Contrary to the lies they told the world, Dorje Shugden people did not harm the Tibetan cause, and it was always the CTA who did it. The present conflicts that we witness today have nothing to do with Dorje Shugden practice, since Shugden practitioners were banned from participating in any mainstream Tibetan activities when the ban against their practice was enforced 20 years ago. Back then, in 1996, the CTA did not realize it but by segregating Shugden people from everyone else and refusing to allow them to practice their civic duty, the Tibetan leadership essentially made sure that Shugden practitioners cannot be blamed for all of the present-day problems that the CTA are now facing.
- It was the CTA who harmed the cause of Tibet by creating the rangzen/umaylam split…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners.
- It was the CTA who got involved with the Karmapa issue and split the Karma Kagyu in half…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners.
- It was the CTA who stayed silent when the Gyalwang Drukpa’s monasteries were forcibly converted…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners.
- It was the CTA who stayed silent and allowed their people to self-immolate in the name of the so-called Tibetan cause…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners.
- It was the CTA who lied, stole and cheated their own people of US$1.5 million…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners.
- It was the CTA who became embroiled in money laundering scandals…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners.
- It was the CTA who accepted money as part of a visa-for-cash scheme…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners.
- It was the CTA who took bribes and allowed the Dalai Lama to associate with someone accused of being a cult leader…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners who did this.
- It was the CTA who fought and brawled on the streets with the Dalai Lama’s students…it was not Dorje Shugden practitioners.
And now it is the CTA harming overall general Tibetan harmony, as clearly evident by the different factions who are now protesting against each other, due to the encouragement of their various leaders. When the Tibetan leaders will pit their own people against each other, after all of this, why would anyone ever believe the CTA ever again? The answer to that question is a resounding NO when looking at the images below, which call for a protest against the government in mid-March. The message is clear – the Tibetans are fed upand time’s almost up for the CTA.
Messages Against Lobsang Sangay
These have been circulating on Tibetan social media, to rallying the people against the Prime Minister whose conduct in office has been called into question. There are now calls to impeach him. The images below were specifically designed to encourage people to join protests against him this March 2018.
Protests Against Lobsang Sangay
All around the world, wherever Lobsang Sangay has turned up for public engagements, he has been greeted with protestors who are unhappy with the embezzlement and corruption exhibited by the Tibetan leadership. People have protested against Sangay in Canada, New York, Washington DC, Dharamsala, Switzerland, Belgium and France. It is no wonder Lobsang Sangay has been attempting to rally support in places like Botswana and Japan.
Dalai Lama wants Tibet to be part of China

Dalai Lama says returning to China is better for Tibetans-What do rangzen (Tibet Independence fighters) people fighting for Tibet’s freedom do now??? Have we wasted our time?
Suddenly the Dalai Lama keeps insisting he wants to be a part of China. How about all the tens of millions of dollars in money and so much time and resource poured into the Free Tibet movement for 57 years in exile. Is that all wasted? Is that all down the drain? How can the Dalai Lama turn around on us like that?
If Dalai Lama returns to Tibet/China, then he is telling the world China is good for Tibetans and we Tibetans want to be a part of China. Is that correct? So Dalai Lama is telling the world that Tibet is a part of China? After so many years of saying we want independence and our country was eaten and now Dalai Lama is sending what message to the world?

While the government of Nepal has framed a policy to tighten the noose around non-governmental organisations, they have welcomed 30 Chinese NGOs to enter the country. These NGOs will penetrate the country’s social sector at the grassroots level. This is the first time such a large number of Chinese NGOs have entered Nepal at one time. Nepal is increasingly open to Chinese influence, a sign that ties between both countries are strengthening, while India’s influence is being reduced. The time has passed for India’s monopoly to remain uninterrupted in Nepal as opportunities to engage with China are being welcomed.

The Nikkei Asian Review is a highly reputable news platform. They are not tabloid in any sense of the word. What they publish is reputable and thoroughly reliable. They mention clearly in an article published August 7, 2018 that the Dalai Lama has a terminal illness. The Prime Minister of India knowing this is now conciliatory towards China. He understands that the Dalai Lama cannot be used as a pawn in irritating China any further. Negotiations are progressing that after the passing of Dalai Lama, his government in-exile will close. The end.

What will the all the people around the world and in Tibet do now? Dalai Lama says he is happy that Tibet is a part of China and should remain a part of China. So many Tibetans self-immolated for Tibet to be independent and now Dalai Lama did a 360 degree turn and says he wants to go back to Tibet and China and Tibet should be a part of China. So unbelievable. So many are angry and disappointed.
Dalai Lama should set things right

Dear Dalai Lama,
Since you started the cruel ban against the 350 year Dorje Shugden practice, how has it benefit your Tibetan society and Buddhism in the world? Things have become worse and most educated Tibetans can see this. They don’t speak out not because they don’t see your ban as wrong, but you instill fear in them and not respect. It is like fear of a dictator. I am sorry to say so. Everyone is divided. There is no harmony. Before your ban there was more harmony and unity.
By enacting the ban, you split the monasteries, split so many families, split regions in Tibet apart, split your disciples from you, split your own gurus from you, split Tibetan Buddhism apart. You have created so much disharmony.
It is not democratic what you have done to ban a religion within your community. You always talk of tolerance and acceptance and democracy and yet you do not accept and tolerate something different from your beliefs. When people practice Dorje Shugden you ostracize them, ban them from seeing you, ban them from using Tibetan facilities. You know you have done that. There are videos that capture your speech and prove this point. You even had people expelled from monasteries just because they practice Dorje Shugden. Some of the monks you expelled have been in the monastery for over 40 years. Many older monks shed tears because of this.
Many young educated Tibetans lost confidence in you as they saw the damage the Dorje Shugden ban created and they lose hope. Many have become free thinkers. They reject what you have done. So many people in the west left Buddhism because of the confusion you created with this ban against Dorje Shugden which is immoral.
You could of had millions of people who practice Dorje Shugden to support, love and follow you, but you scared them away. They are hurt and very disappointed. They loved you and respected you deeply before the ban. It has been 60 years and you have failed to get Tibet back. Your biggest failure is not getting Tibet back after 57 years in exile. Now you are begging China to allow you to return to Tibet to the disappointment of thousands of people who fought for a free Tibet believing in you. So many self-immolated for a free Tibet and now you want Tibet to be a part of China with no referendum from Tibetans. Just like a dictator, you decide on your own. It was your government and you that lost Tibet in the first place. Your policies and style of doing things do not benefit Tibet and Buddhism. You have been the sole ruler of Tibet your whole life and you still have not gotten our country of Tibet back for us. Our families and us are separated. Yet you create more pain by creating a ban to further divide people. Please have compassion.
No other Buddhist leader has banned or condemned any religion except for you. It looks very bad. You are a Nobel laureate and this is not fitting of a laureate. You should unite people and not separate them by religious differences.
You said Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi did not do right to the Rohingya people in Myanmar due to religious differences, but you are doing the same thing to the Shugden Buddhists within your own society. There is a parallel in this. You separate the Shugden Buddhists from the others in Tibetan society.
You have lost so many people who would have loved and supported you. You have lost so much support around the world. The Shugden Buddhists who love you number in the millions. When you are fast losing support from governments and private people, it will not do you well to lose more.
After you are passed away in the future, the rift you created between the Dorje Shugden and non-Dorje Shugden people will remain for a while and that will be your legacy. Disharmony. You will be remembered for this. Not as a hero but a disharmony creator.
Dorje Shugden will spread and further grow, but you will be no more as you are a human. No one wishes you bad and in fact we hope you have a long and healthy life, but we have lost so much hope and have so much despair because of you. All the hundreds of Dorje Shugden lamas, tulkus and geshes are maturing and there are hundreds of Dorje Shugden monasteries in Tibet who will not give up Dorje Shugden. You have made a mistake. These hundreds of teachers and teachers to be will spread Dorje Shugden further in the future.
The gurus that gave us Dorje Shugden as a spiritual practice and you have called these holy gurus wrong and they are mistaken in giving us Dorje Shugden. How can you insult our gurus whom we respect so much? If they can be wrong, then you can be wrong. Then all gurus can be wrong. So no one needs to listen to any guru? You have created this trend. It is not healthy. Your own gurus practiced Dorje Shugden their whole lives. Your own gurus were exemplary and highly learned.
Dalai Lama you have created so much pain with this ban against so many people due to religion. You are ageing fast. Are you going to do anything about it or stay stubborn, hard and un-moving. You show a smile and preach peace and harmony wherever you go. But will you do the same to your own people? Please rectify the wrong you have done. Please before it is too late. You can create harmony again or you can pass away in the future with this legacy of peace. May you live long and think carefully and admit what was a mistake in having this unethical ban against Dorje Shugden religion.

Why doesn’t the United States and its allies end Refugee Status for the useless Tibetans? They have been refugees for 60 years now and don’t tell me they still cannot get their lives back in order?
Tibetans really know how to put on a good show and use people, take their money and do nothing in return.

Supreme Court of India JUSTICE Mr. MARKANDEY KATJU (RETD) writes that Tibet is much better under the Chinese than it was under the lamas who only wanted to make the populace slaves. It was feudal and it will never return to the backwardness again.

The cracks in Tibetan society are starting to show, and it is now coming to the attention of local Indians who have all but identified the Tibetan leadership as the source of the divisions. According to this author, disunity amongst the Tibetans is now creating problems for Indian law enforcement agencies, and this disunity may culminate in young Tibetans holding silent grudges against their host country. It is incredible that after six decades of generosity from India, Indians are now facing the very real possibility Tibetans can be ungrateful towards India. The Tibetan leadership totally failed to impart positive values upon their exiled community, like gratitude for those kindest to them and the need to repay these kindnesses with real, tangible results. It’s also very unlikely that the Tibetan leadership will now start to do this, after six decades of failing to do so. Indians need to realise this, and see that there is no benefit for their nation to align themselves with the Tibetan leadership, and there never will be.

Although the Dalai Lama has offered an apology, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) still expressed their disappointment over his controversial comment on Nehru, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC). Dalai Lama called Nehru self-centred.
The Congress said Dalai Lama being a foreigner should shun and refrain from interfering in the internal as well as external affairs of India.

Lobsang Sangay is not that stupid after all as he knows how to profit from the Tibetan plight. He has a very clear objective for himself, that is to make money for himself and so he can have a good life in the US. He is not interested to save Tibet and the Tibetans, he is more interested to make sure he will be ok after the CTA is closed down.
The actions of Lobsang Sangay demonstrates clearly he is only interested in making himself rich and comfortable. He siphoned millions of dollars from the CTA when the public requested him to clarify, he refused to address the issue. The Dalai Lam keeps saying he wants the Middle Way Approach but instead of making a good connection with China, Lobsang Sangay is touring around the world to condemn China. It is as if he wants to make sure the Middle Way approach fails.
The Tibetans in exile and the Dalai Lama are being used as the money-making tool for the CTA. The CTA needs the refugees status to win sympathy from the west for money. The Dalai Lama is a very successful brand name for the CTA to get donation too. The only winner at the end is the CTA. But I am glad to see more Tibetans have realised that and they are protecting their rights by protesting against Lobsang Sangay

His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s speeches create headlines nowadays not because they bring wisdom and enlightening thoughts, but rather unpleasant feelings and disapprovals. From the sexist quip in 2015, his gaffe on Nehru, and his recent comment about Europe that caused him to be labelled as White Supremacist, there is now one more to add onto the list. In order to be congenial and consistent with the image of a Nobel Peace Laureate, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been issuing statements, especially about Islam, such as redefining Jihad as an interior struggle.
More and more people are expressing their doubt, with some even directly pointing out the mistakes in the Dalai Lama’s speech. This pattern of speech of strong statements that ends up in denial or apology seems consistent with his advice concerning the practice of Dorje Shugden. With the reasons behind the ban shifted so much over time, perhaps there really was never any validity behind the ban at all.

I see the article is dated February. Well, until now, I don’t see much changes within these seven months. CTA holding on to their selfishness whilst Dalai Lama is already moving so far ahead of their games. Dalai Lama mean business when he said he will go back to China/Tibet and has already set the motions for it to happen, with or without CTA. All CTA knows and is good at is creating troubles for others and they forgot due diplomacy with country they wish to return to. Poor China, I don’t blame her for taking longer time to decide, seeing the antics of these CTA’s blunders. Everything CTA built on, id Dorje Shugden is coming back to bite their ass.
CTA failed

The younger generation of Tibetans in India actually knows that their future in Tibetan settlements will not be any good. That is why alot of them has been trying to seek asylum in western countries. Some of them even went back to Tibet seeing that China is investing alot in developing Tibet. Some of them took up Indian citizenship and that is why the population in those Tibet settlements are declining.
Tibetans are leaving Tibetan settlements and no new Tibetans are coming from Tibet under China. The number is decreasing and CTA is worried. CTA can only control the Tibetans in India. If the number of Tibetans keep decreasing, CTA’s ability to get donation will decrease as well. That is why the government make it harder for Tibetans to become an Indian citizen now. They want to keep the Tibetans forever under them so they can keep on getting donations from the western country.
Tibetans should really think about returning to Tibet under China. At least there you will be able to know that the future will be good because China is currently investing alot into Tibet while there is nothing happening in the Tibetan settlements. Tibetans have to think about their future and stop submitting themselves to their government.
CTA No More
December 18, 2018
More and more negative news of the CTA and Lobsang Sangay are being exposed. For the past 60 years, the CTA has not done anything good for the Tibetans. Lobsang Sangay being the president for the second terms has not delivered any positive results but more scandals.
Lobsang Sangay is having a very good life now. There is no pressure from anyone to produce results. He can use the public fund to travel around the world in first class flight, go to nice fancy restaurants and go dating with numerous lovers. Why would he want to go back to Tibet? It is a lie that he is loyal to the Dalai Lama.
Now that more negative news about Lobsang Sangay is exposed, hopefully, more Tibetans will speak up and get rid of this useless president. He and his gang have not done anything good for the Tibetans but only pain and sufferings. They fail to unite the Tibetans but instead create more disharmony. Sooner or later, the CTA will collapse!

Lobsang Sangay is just a small president of a union, not a country. Honestly, we cannot really call the CTA a government, how many people are under their governance? What are the things they have done to help the Tibetans in exile? After 60 years, many Tibetans in exile are still living in poverty. They don’t have a future, Lobsang Sangay wants the Tibetans to wait for another 50 years before the CTA frees Tibet. How ridiculous is that?
The CTA is just like the old Tibetan government, they only look after their own welfare. They exploit the normal Tibetans to increase their wealth. They don’t care if the normal Tibetans are taken care of. The CTA wants the Tibetans in exile to remain as refugees so they can continue to get financial aids and support from the West. The CTA doesn’t have to work but yet can still get a lot of money, this is what they want.
If Lobsang Sangay is so capable and really is looking after the Tibetans, he should provide a better plan to make the Tibetans more competitive so they are able to improve their lives. Lobsang Sangay doesn’t have the quality of a leader, the only thing he has is a qualification from Havard. He is not capable of bringing the Tibetans to another level internationally.

The CTA will not get stronger but only weaker as time passes. It is amazing how they can survive for the past 60 years. People support their cause not because they really care about human rights but because they want to create problem and obstacle to China so China will not grow rapidly and become the most powerful country in the world.
The western power has always found China to be a threat to them. For the past centuries, the western power has colonised many Asian countries and exploited the local and natural resources to make themselves rich. If China becomes strong, it means the whole Asia region will become strong. The west will lose their bargaining power and they have to kowtow to China. This is something they don’t want to.
Therefore, in the effort to jeopardise China, Tibet issue is the best tool the west can use to create trouble for China. The west has given a lot of money to the CTA hoping that they can continue to create trouble for China. The CTA does create some degree of trouble but not enough to create huge unrest in China. As the economy in the west is getting weaker now, they will not have more money to invest in the CTA. Very soon the CTA will become history.

At the end of the day, the real victims of the Tibet issue are the normal Tibetans themselves. They are used by their own government as a tool to beg for donations from various countries so their leadership can continue to withdraw a huge salary.
The wealth enjoyed by the Tibetan leadership is from the sufferings of the Tibetans. The CTA is making the Tibetans remain as a refugee on purpose so they can enjoy perks and benefits from all around the world. The CTA enjoys it because they don’t have to take responsibility for anything, all they have to do is to victimise themselves.
The CTA has to make sure there are still many refugees living in India so they can continue to get free money from the sponsors. They are lazy, useless and incapable of doing good to anyone. They create disharmony in the Tibetan community and make troubles for their kind host, India. In short, the CTA is greedy and ungrateful.

If Lobsang Sangay has a dialogue with China and tries to negotiate for a deal, he can lose his power any time which he won’t want to. He does not have any respect for China because China did not pay him. The western world has been very generous to give financial support to the Tibetans but no one knows where the money has gone to. But we can be very sure that the money was used to print books and make videos to condemn Dorje Shugden and its followers.
In addition, if internally there is always conflict and no harmony, how are the Tibetans going to be successful in their pursuit? Obviously, CTA does not want to be successful, they only want to get rich. They always create conflicts in the Tibetan community. They refuse to solve problems and let the problems continue to become the hurdle in their pursuit.

If Lobsang Sangay said he has been working hard to try to establish a dialogue with China but until today there is no results, it means Lobsang Sangay is not effective at all as a leader. He talks big with big words but the result is so minimal. He makes himself looks busy but he is not doing any work.
He always creates conflicts between different group of people in the Tibetan community. He knows there are many problems but he refuses to solve them. For examples, the 2 Karmapas issue, the Dorje Shugden ban and his conflict with Penpa Tsering.
It is a shame that a Harvard graduate like Lobsang Sangay cannot inspire Tibetans or lead Tibetans to a better future. He is also involved in many scandals, the financial scandal and the sex scandals. He was accused of sexually assaulting an intern.

It’s totally a failure of CTA to manage the situation and people. At this moment when Dalai Lama still around and CTA still cannot manage, then we can imagine how havoc it can be after Dalai Lama passing. Before Dalai Lama passing, CTA already created so many scandals and this shows a very bad feeling and energy to the people. This also causes many Tibetans to lose their respect and faith in CTA. After 60 years CTA has not taken care fo the Tibetan welfare and no positive sign of their promises to bring them back to Tibet. Instead of working hard to deal with the Chinese, CTA spent their time, money and resources to divert the failure attention to blaming Dorje Shugden (protector practice) for affecting Tibetan cause and harming Dalai Lama life. How ridiculous it can be and it’s so not professional. With such quality of leadership, how can you have faith in them? That’s why see more and more people leaving India (especially the young one) to look for a better opportunity out there.

The CTA has just recruited 25 new staff. I wonder how many of these 25 new recruits are going to be somebody? Someone who can lead the Tibetans and give a better future to the Tibetans? I bet they are recruited not by merits by personal relationship. The CTA runs by nepotism, many got their jobs in the CTA because they are someone’s relatives. This is one of the reasons why there is no real talents in the CTA. The real talents rather give their services to other countries. Unless the CTA can change their ways of running the administration, otherwise there will be no hope for the free Tibet movement.
