Karma is wreaking its revenge on the Tibetan leadership. For decades the Tibetan authorities have persecuted Dorje Shugden worshippers whom they have tried very hard to destroy. But in the absence of an army or militia with which the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) can unleash upon people its ‘enemies’ it has resorted to propaganda, indoctrination via disinformation, intimidation and scapegoating. It became a crime simply to have a family member or friend who was a Dorje Shugden believer. The claim was all Shugden practitioners are in fact Chinese agents paid to destroy Tibetan unity and therefore merely being seen with a Shugden believer was regarded as an act of treason.
China’s meteoric rise in recent years and the ensuing shift in the global balance of power in China’s favor spell problematic consequences for the Tibetan leadership and the CTA. For far too long, the Tibetan leadership has been sowing discord within Tibetan communities worldwide and making social outcasts of Tibetans that the CTA regard as barriers to their political ambitions. They have actively persecuted, discriminated and incited violence against Dorje Shugden practitioners. They have made pariahs of swathes of their own people, denying them medical care, government aid and the basic right to freedom of religion.
This is just one aspect of the social, political and religious discord the Tibetan leadership has planned and executed. Others include unwarranted involvement in the Karmapa issue, discrimination against the Jonangpa sect, and allegations of theft and embezzlement. But as the ancient and time-tested proverb goes, you reap what you sow.
Over the last couple of years there has been a growing trend of countries and political leaders from around the world who have turned their backs to the Tibetan leadership, even snubbing His Holiness the Dalai Lama in order to build or strengthen ties with China, the economic and political dragon of the east. The Tibetan leadership, whom China views as an illegal separatist group, are realising that no one wants to see them anymore since to do so would provoke the ire of a rising global super power than no nation can ignore.
So high is the opportunity costs of being on the wrong side of China that there is a crescendo of voices asking what a country or leader achieves by being friendly with and meeting the Tibetan leadership or His Holiness. The answer is very simple: they get a boost of that ‘oh-so-fleeting feel-good’ sense from meeting someone who is internationally renowned with a reputation of being a man of world peace and religious harmony.
In truth, it was ‘cheap’ to befriend the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan leadership, and it was an easy and convenient way to be seen supporting the rhetoric long associated with the Dalai Lama and the Tibetans in exile. And apart from light vocal support which is nothing more than the small change in our pockets, there is little else involved in ‘supporting’ the Tibetan cause. History shows this to be true and in fact leaders around the world do nothing to help the Tibetan cause, whether it is the rangzen movement (complete independence) or even the umaylam (middle way) approach propagated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Some may argue that the United States of America is an exception as a true friend of the Tibetan people and that would also be wrong. The US$19 million that America offers the Tibetans annually is a paltry sum that disappears into decimal fractions when considered against the US$35 billion the American government allocates as foreign aid.
So there is no upside being friends with the Tibetan leadership. On the other hand, with the fiscal and political rise of the global powerhouse that is China, leaders around the world are becoming aware of the importance of maintaining a good relationship with them.
And yet, despite the great diplomatic and economic gains that come from being friendly with China (that in turn sustains and stimulates respective local economies) there is still a handful of ordinary citizens in countries all over the world who still protest against China. When their actions are examined however, we see clearly that their strong principles are incongruous with their way of life. If they were so genuinely passionate about China’s so-called human rights violations and have decided to lobby against any form of ties with China, should they not be protesting against their own government’s involvement with China that creates jobs and a vibrant economy for their own country? What is worse than a person who does something, is a person who stands by idly and watches the events unfold.
The pendulum now swings against the Tibetan leadership and there are increasing instances in which the Tibetan leadership have been ignored or sidelined by world because to be seen with the Tibetan leadership reaps the same consequences as a Tibetan being seen with a Dorje Shugden practitioner.

Pope Francis Snubs Dalai Lama (December 2014)
As reported in the Telegraph, Pope Francis decided not to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama at an event held for Nobel Prize winners, given the Catholic Church’s move to strengthen ties with China. It’s obvious that the Catholic Church sees its relations with China as more important than the Tibetan leadership.

Given the growing trend of countries and leaders supporting China, the CTA are floundering in their attempts to maintain relevance on the world scene. Rather than continue with their attempts to counter Chinese authorities, it would make sense for the Tibetan leadership to become friends with China in order to survive the rise of the colossal economic dragon of the East.
As world leaders continue their support for China, will the CTA realize they need to stop antagonizing China and change with the times, or will the previous karmic potentials of discord they planted through the ban on Dorje Shugden and other negative actions catch up to them? Will they pull through this shift in world politics and economics or will they fall by the wayside in China’s massive wake?
In terms of karma, you reap what you sow. Since the CTA persecuted, discriminated and segregated, they created the karma to receive the exact same outcome. The signs of this manifestation are present in the world now, as China comes to the forefront of global politics and economics, and countries re-align themselves with a new world order but are the CTA really taking note of it? Only time will tell, but from the CTA’s history of political inadequacy and self-caused issues, it would take a miracle for them to implement sincere change, even in the face of such drastic global transformation. The Tibetan leadership should really make amends with all the damage they have done with the discriminatory Dorje Shugden ban where devotees are so segregated and made out to be pariahs. They should apologize and stop encouraging and ‘advising’ against the Dorje Shugden religious practice or any practice. Give religious freedom and purify their karma. Time is not on their side.

Being seen with the Dalai Lama and Tibetan Leaders are becoming more and more unattractive for trade and for fostering close ties with China. And the world needs to foster close ties with China.. hell even Mr. Trump wants to work closely with China now > http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-elections/donald-trump-cooperation-choice-china-president-xi-jingping-a7415781.html
So you can really forget about Trump helping Tibetans and the Tibet Cause, cos not only is he a racist, he is also against immigrants and I hope that all those in the USA are legal or they are going back where they came from as he has mentioned.
So Mr. Lobsang Sangay and Mr. Penpa what you gonna do now? No more free money and hand me downs from the USA. Trump couldn’t care less… he only cares about making money and doing business. What have you got to offer them? The real sharks are out now and if you keep blaming China instead of being smart and quickly foster ties with them, you are gonna be eaten by the shark. Those white supremacy gov ain’t gonna care for Tibetans. You would have a better chance with an Asian government like China. After all you guys are all Asian, like labels or not… it is the truth. Wake up and smell the new world… tables have turned.
P.S. I cannot help but to think is this the end of CTA if Trump & Xi join forces? Both will be happy to stump CTA out for good. And maybe maybe maybe then Shugden practitioner will have some peace! So stupid of them to divide their own people. Karma dude!

Even as the CTA forsake their own brethren around the world, the other world leaders have to take care of their own citizens. Therefore, they will not get on the wrong side of China, a very up and coming economic power. China is not perfect, but then again who is? All I can say despite the ugly image of China, it is a different China from the times of Mao.They have conceded religious freedom and China has given that to her citizens.
What can i say except that CTA has taken the opposite route. They maintain the feudal thinking of the Tibet of old. Ruling by oppression and crowd frenzy will fail in the long run.

As we can see socialism can not help to overcome a single problem but cause and effect many problems for people of china. May all chinese people be blessed with wisdom and compassion and protect them from socialism, problems, suffering and frustration.
For china this situation is very sad because chinese people appreciate wisdom very much and is a very strong aspect of their history that is much stronger than socialism that is far away from reality and only leads to many problems, suffering and frustration.
Because reality is free of lastingness and non-existence, eternalism and nihilism as well as socialism/communism is just illusion and impermanent.
The illusion of socialism has harmed china too much, but due to the conciousness or wisdom of chinese people socialism has no chance at all and will liberate china from socialism sooner or later anyway.
Reality is free of latingness and non-existence, socialists can’t do anything about it because their illusions are impermanent because their conciousness is free of lastingness and non-existence – so wisdom and compassion will arise sooner or later muc stronger than now for freedom and wellbeing. Space is the magic healing power behind it that wipes away socialism and socialists can’t do anything about it.
I pray for china and chinese people to become free of socialism and suffering that is caused by socialism. May wisdom and compassion increase in china and never fail again for the benifit of china.

The times have changed and China has now become the world’s largest economy. Tibet has created heavy karma by suppressing the Dorje Shugden practice and karma seems to catch up.
Tibet should find ways to conciliate with China for the benefit of their people and the Tibetan cause. In Buddhism we learn about impermanence.
I think it is better to embrace the change instead of fighting a lost cause.

China’s influence has grown very fast in the world. As as many countries are depended on China more than ever, it will be hard for the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) to stay relevant and build diplomatic relationship with other countries.
It is a fact that the CTA is very much depended on foreign donation to sustain itself and many of its programs. Therefore, I think the only way for the CTA to maintain its relevance is by befriending China and at least act with civility.

The reputation of leaders of Tibetan in exile is a long repertoire of senseless administration, corruption and empty promises. There is no surprise people, smart people a.k.a leaders of other countries can see through these repertoire and distance themselves, especially after millions of charity dollars poured into the so-called Tibetan causes where nothing, literally nothing, happened for the past 50 over years. Anyone would be ashamed to be seen with such an inefficient, senselessly corrupted leadership.

There is a report of talks between Chinese President Xi JinPing and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the future of Tibetans in India. Once made public, the Tibetans in India will have to become Indian citizens with the passing of HH the Dalai Lama. This will effectively end the ‘reign’ of the CTA.
Furthermore, most democracies (big and small) in the world now see that Tibet is an unalienable part of China. They will no longer support the struggle for Tibetan Independence, for which(egged on by the CTA) over 100 Tibetan monks and Lay people have self -immolated. The human rights issue of the Tibetans is a feeble one as China itself is sitting on the United Nations Human Rights Council. Then again, karma will come back to the anti Shugden CTA and their people for the human rights violation they have meted out in discriminating and persecuting against Shugden practitioners at home and abroad.
As China’s economic might has grown to make it the first economic superpower in the world, countries are turning their backs on Tibet, and their leaders are making overtures of friendship to the Chinese leaders like Xi Jinping. So, it behoves the Tibetan leadership to start befriending the Chinese and their leaders. It they continue to irritate and annoy the Chinese with their insistence on Rangzen and the like, they will lose all their cards, if they have any card left to play with the Chinese. Now is the time to think seriously about preserving in Tibet, the Tibetan culture and language. For with Tibetan emigrants, they will soon lose their mother tongue and their culture as they assimilate the language and culture of their country of adoption. The last bastion of preserving Tibetan Culture and Language will still be Tibet in China.

It is not the fault or karma of the tibetan people it is the fault and karma of all other nations that don’t appreciate the benifit of cultivating wisdom and compassion (dignity) that is freedom and wellbeing and only can be effected by actions that are rooted in dignity.
Nations invest more money in weapons and applying violence than education and training in dignity and cultivating dignity. These nations don’t educate and train their people in dignity but only educate and train their people in dualism so that they only function in their dualistic betray systems like a cow that only has to give milk to keep up the dualistic betray system. Dignity is the enemy for these dualistic betray systems and are in conflict with another and with absolute truth.
This is not the fault and not the karma of tibetan people, it is the fault and karma of all other nations that will fail because reality is free of lastingness and non-existence. That means that reality is non-duality and duality is an illusion and only can fail within non-duality/reality (Just take a look at human history). Violence is rooted in illusions and are impermanent but non-duality is a continuum, so wisdom and compassion is a continuum and only can be victorious.
From bön we know that about 18.000 years many buddhas appeared and spread dharma, during this time until today many dualistic betray systems with their violence appeared and dissappeared (failed) but dharma is still there (victorious) and this will continue because spacecontinuum is there and conciousnesscontinuum comes along with it that is wisdom and compassion (rigpa rangshar – self arising wisdom and compassion or tikle of wisdom and compassion) that will allways araise within mankind as so called buddhas that spread dharma for the benifit of all beings.
So don’t worry about dharma, lineages and all the next buddhas that will appear within mankind. It will happen because space happens, because conciousness happens, because wisdom and compassion happens all the time anyway.
Illusions are impermanent, violence is impermanent, conciousness or awareness is a continuum and illusions only can fail but wisdom and compassion only can be victorious, so don’t worry just continue with dharma study and practice.
Just integrate vajrakilaya and dharmapala practice into your every day practice.
I love you all and practice for you all.

Once the world was the stage for the CTA and the Dalai Lama, to go around the world and win the sympathies of the countries around the world. But that day is over, as the Tibetan struggle lacks the moral authority to push its cause forward, a nation of people who are oppressed and practices oppression no good can come out of it. I never thought this day would come but somehow the wheel of sharp weapons has descended on Umaylam and the CTA, their words and persuasion lack power to get the backing of various nations.
China on the other has developed Tibet to a state of a developing nation with much infrastructure projects to modernise the Tibetan landscape. Yes China is not perfect, but neither were the West when they colonized more than half the world, the West butchered and enslaved people who did not fit their idea of civilised society. So for the West and the US to make trouble for China, is purely out of jealousy and fear of the rise of China. Not exactly idealism or to protect Tibetans at all.

Just to add the information to the article above, after the Dalai Lama’s recent visit to Mongolia, the CTA applauded the Mongolian government for allowing the visit. However, Mongolia is now suffering from the consequences of this visit. China cancels all diplomatic meetings including negotiation of $4.2 billion loan that can get Mongolia out of recession. The CTA is staying quiet over this whole ordeal… there is no indication that they are giving any form of support at all to Mongolia.

CTA has long been dependent on the Dalai Lama’s fame and reputation to bring the necessary attention and aid to the Tibetans-In-Exile but now that the heads of states are turning away towards China, if CTA is wise, they will start to make overtures to China. The Dalai Lama had long given up his political position in hopes of negotiating for the return to Tibet under condition of Autonomous Rule but I think that CTA had never supported that. CTA dare not accept Autonomous Rule as it will mean an end of them. They had not gain any political strength other than create much discord in propoganda against China and then placed an illogical ban on Dorje Shugden protector practice which is 400 years old. This ban under CTA’s directive and rhetoric had brought on segregation, discrimination and sufferings on to their own people/practitioners and diluted their strength as a whole. Karma payback certainly is right in explaining the situation that CTA is in now. Deservingly so. If CTA is smart, mend bridges with Shugden practitioners which number millions throughout the world and especially Shugden Lamas who had made friends with China (for non-political religious reasons). They could be the bridge for CTA to reach out to China.
My goodness, I was shocked that CTA had been receiving USD19 million in sponsorship from the US government annually. With that kind of monies, CTA could have done so much to help their people out of their refugee status and simulate into their respective societies (countries of stay). Instead CTA squander the monies on propaganda against China and then against Shugden practitioners. CTA is now a habituated “freeloader” always asking for donations whenever they faced problems. Like the recent drought situation in South India that had affected their people (majority of whom were farmers). Instead of helping them financially, CTA spent huge amount of monies on media and 400 page booklets promoting hatred against Dorje Shugden and his practitioners. What logic is that? Then they appeal to others for donations to help Tibetan drought victims. If that is not freeloading, then what is?
The way forward is very clear and straightforward. CTA must lift the Shugden Ban to garner support of all Tibetan Buddhist practitioners (Tibetans & non-Tibetans). Show China their sincerity by stopping all forms of propagandas against China and by practicing good governance. No countries want troublemakers in their homegrounds. Make humble political overtures through friendly parties who are close with the Chinese government. Maybe the Dalai Lama will get his wish for that much awaited dialogue with China.

It’s mind boggling that the CTA has not learned anything even after over half a century of failures. The 2008 Beijing Olympics was the turning point and it signalled that the nations of the world were beginning to view China differently than before. The CTA should have taken the cue and made more diplomatic overtures to China.
Clearly its too late for the CTA to have any hope of returning the Tibetan home on the CTA’s terms (Rangzen or Umaylam), and it is fast becoming redundant. Yearly scores of Tibetans in exile had chosen to return to Tibet on their own accord and the monasteries as thinning out.
Soon Lobsang Sangay will be a leader with no country and no people.

CTA has gotten away with reckless and downright senseless administration and empty promises for so long that they still think they can get away with it. Except that things have changed, and CTA’s sob story no longer cut it for many. In addition, China has grown to be such an economic force that many would think twice about getting on their bad side.
Even those who were willing to play along with CTA to make things difficult for China previously (naturally driven by their own reasons then), it is obvious that it is no longer such case. As China gets more powerful in its economic ties and investments worldwide, like it or not, the harsh truth is that people will soon willingly overlook and forget the occupation of Tibet, and will move towards developing with China.
Further, it is undeniable that under China’s ruling, Tibet is flourishing. Infrastructure has dramatically improved, and economy in Tibet has been revamped and diversified with reportedly positive results. Also, Tibetans who never left Tibet are glaringly faring way better than those in Dharamsala. In fact, despite millions of charity dollars given to CTA for the benefit of Tibetans and/or Tibetan causes, CTA has nothing to really show for and it’s almost half a decade of aid. All the more reasons for leaders of other countries to disassociate themselves from CTA, who are not only obviously inapt but also plagued by many allegations of corruptions and serious criminal wrong-doings.
At the end of the day, the reality is that “it is every man for himself ” and so, naturally, the other world leaders prioritise their countries’ interests over any other issues.

Here’s another one.
From: http://www.china.org.cn/opinion/2016-12/12/content_39898169.htm
By Ritu Raj Subedi associate editor of The Rising Nepal.
“Of late, Nepalese politicians have committed various diplomatic gaffes that made Chinese hackles rise. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, a prime minister-in-waiting, caused controversy by attending the India Ideas Conclave that featured a video message from the Dalai Lama. At the opening ceremony, Deuba had sat next to Lobsang Sangay, a representative of Dalai Lama, but, although refuting news reports he had met the latter, his diplomatic blooper raised questions about the NC’s commitment to One China Policy.
“Deuba’s presence in the controversial meeting was simply unacceptable,” said Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, an influential figure in the NC and a former foreign minister. He insisted the party had been firm on the One China Policy from the beginning.
In a bid at damage control, the government and the NC separately issued statements, reiterating Nepal’s commitment to the policy. Deuba had claimed that he was ignorant of other participating guests. However, sources insisted he had known who would participate and the nature of the event in advance.”

The Shugden groups can dare defy the Dalai Lama because they don’t have a country. The Tibetans are scattered all over the world and they have their various power basis from their various countries. I’ve spoken to Ms. Dhardon Sharling about this. If all the Tibetans were back in Tibet, they would have no chance to defy the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama’s government would crush them into silence. How dare they defy the Dalai Lama. Democracy is not for the backwards and illiterate Tibetans. They need a strong, smart and able ruler like the Dalai Lama and his ministers to tell them what is good or bad for them. The Dorje Shugden practice should be banned completely from the Tibetans and Tibetan nation because it is a harmful practice. And no religious freedom should be allowed to let this Dorje Shugden religion arise. In history, many other harmful religions were suppressed for the good of mankind. Shugden should be suppressed and all people who practice him should be forced to give up the practice.

Everyone should go and take a picture with the Dalai Lama and post it. It will boost ‘business’. It’s made me look really valid and more people trust what I am saying simply because I have my picture taken with the Dalai Lama. I’ve roped in Carole MccQuirre and gang to do the same things. You see because I am from East Germany and we don’t believe in any sort of religious freedom. Whatever the regime in the past told you to do, you do it without question. The Shugden groups should not be allowed to practice their religion because the Dalai lama says so. We shouldn’t question the Dalai Lama or defy him. After all he is not human but a god. So if Dalai Lama says don’t practice Dorje Shugden, just follow along without question because why should there be religious freedom. The populace are too stupid to see what religion is good and what is harmful.

I agree with you Paljor. The Tibetans do not need democracy, but a strong firm hand to tell them what to do. They are not like we educated English people who can handle and know what to do with democracy. The fact that Tibetans have no real elected leaders and the leader is really the Dalai Lama for the last 60 years is good news. Tibetans cannot elect their own leaders. When the Dalai Lama dies, we wait for him to reincarnate back and take over again because he is the only leader that can handle Tibetans.

The Dalai Lama should not travel to countries that he knows will damage that country’s relations with China. China is a chief economic power and many countries would benefit from a relationship with China. If Dalai Lama knowingly travels those country at the expense of their economic benefit with China, that would not be very shrewd as it will backfire. Eventually that country will have repercussions with China and ban the Dalai Lama anyways. Dalai Lama should consider carefully where he travels in order to not damage the country’s economic relationship with powerhouse China.
Dalai Lama should do his best to extend the olive branch to China and become friends. Dalai Lama should not antagonize China in any way for the sake of his people. It’s important.

Tibetans always make trouble wherever they live. They will not live quietly and appreciate the bigger economic goals of their host country. Many countries have a economic need to be friends with China as the cold war with China is thawing out. But Tibetans will never understand this. The needs of the 6 million Tibetans to them outweigh the needs of the rest of the 7 billion persons on this planet.

Nobody believes anymore in the Tibetan Movement! Rangzen has his own agenda and does not follow Dalai Lama’s wish of Umaylam! Rangzen is paid by the CCP for sure!
And the CTA… only wants money, money, money… What a bunch of losers! Instead of doing their job, they fill their pockets. Great – and the Tibetans can vegetate in the Tibetan settlements! 😤😤😤

An increasing number of countries in the world are choosing to align themselves with China and establish good relationships, the latest being the Central American country of Panama. With the promise of Chinese business, investments and infrastructure projects, world leaders will not be hesitant when it comes to starting positive relationships with China. The choice is obvious when the benefits are so many.

In Nepal, the former Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba may soon be ousted as party chief and one of the reasons being cited is his sharing of the stage with Lobsang Sangay i.e. he supports the CTA and Tibetans. This follows the recent example of India, whose Foreign Secretary issued a directive stating all Indian officials should not attend CTA-hosted events in conjunction with their “Thank You India” campaign. After the Dalai Lama’s most recent trip to Mongolia, the backlash against the Mongolian President was so strong, he was forced to ban the Dalai Lama from Mongolia.
Never mind China sanctioning them, or expressing displeasure on an international level. What these politicians are facing even domestically are internal sanctions for expressing support for the CTA. The message is clear and that is, it is bad news to be seen with the CTA.
If politicians are being discouraged on all levels from supporting the CTA, it is only a matter of time before the Tibetans find themselves on the very lonely, losing end of their fight against China.

It pays to make good relations with China. After the Dalai Lama cancelled his visit to Botswana, China responded immediately with encouraging news that bilateral relations with Botswana will progress.
There is no way to deny China’s economic prowess, and many countries, including India, the host of the exiled Tibetans for the past 60 years know that it is not worth to risk bilateral ties with China for the Tibetan cause. After snubbing the Tibetan leadership and cancellation of key Tibetan events in Delhi recently, India receive the quid pro quo from China of signed commercial deals worth nearly $2.36 billion. Mongolia, who has banned the Dalai Lama from entering the country is now welcomed to carry out cross-border trade with China’s Bohai Commodity Exchange to help Mongolian agricultural products enter the Chinese market. Switzerland was the top recipient of Chinese investment in 2017 with a combined value of US$44.6bn, who since 2015 has automatically reassigned the nationality of Tibetan refugees as Chinese nationals in their residence permits.
More and more countries have jumped on the bandwagon to reject the Tibetan leadership, including Australia, Bhutan, The Czech Republic, Italy, Norway, Sweden, with the Central American country of Panama being the latest addition, and the list is expected to grow. Why would any country want to risk their economic prosperity for a lost cause like that of the Tibetan cause?

What will the all the people around the world and in Tibet do now? Dalai Lama says he is happy that Tibet is a part of China and should remain a part of China. So many Tibetans self-immolated for Tibet to be independent and now Dalai Lama did a 360 degree turn and says he wants to go back to Tibet and China and Tibet should be a part of China. So unbelievable. So many are angry and disappointed.
Dalai Lama should set things right

Dear Dalai Lama,
Since you started the cruel ban against the 350 year Dorje Shugden practice, how has it benefit your Tibetan society and Buddhism in the world? Things have become worse and most educated Tibetans can see this. They don’t speak out not because they don’t see your ban as wrong, but you instill fear in them and not respect. It is like fear of a dictator. I am sorry to say so. Everyone is divided. There is no harmony. Before your ban there was more harmony and unity.
By enacting the ban, you split the monasteries, split so many families, split regions in Tibet apart, split your disciples from you, split your own gurus from you, split Tibetan Buddhism apart. You have created so much disharmony.
It is not democratic what you have done to ban a religion within your community. You always talk of tolerance and acceptance and democracy and yet you do not accept and tolerate something different from your beliefs. When people practice Dorje Shugden you ostracize them, ban them from seeing you, ban them from using Tibetan facilities. You know you have done that. There are videos that capture your speech and prove this point. You even had people expelled from monasteries just because they practice Dorje Shugden. Some of the monks you expelled have been in the monastery for over 40 years. Many older monks shed tears because of this.
Many young educated Tibetans lost confidence in you as they saw the damage the Dorje Shugden ban created and they lose hope. Many have become free thinkers. They reject what you have done. So many people in the west left Buddhism because of the confusion you created with this ban against Dorje Shugden which is immoral.
You could of had millions of people who practice Dorje Shugden to support, love and follow you, but you scared them away. They are hurt and very disappointed. They loved you and respected you deeply before the ban. It has been 60 years and you have failed to get Tibet back. Your biggest failure is not getting Tibet back after 57 years in exile. Now you are begging China to allow you to return to Tibet to the disappointment of thousands of people who fought for a free Tibet believing in you. So many self-immolated for a free Tibet and now you want Tibet to be a part of China with no referendum from Tibetans. Just like a dictator, you decide on your own. It was your government and you that lost Tibet in the first place. Your policies and style of doing things do not benefit Tibet and Buddhism. You have been the sole ruler of Tibet your whole life and you still have not gotten our country of Tibet back for us. Our families and us are separated. Yet you create more pain by creating a ban to further divide people. Please have compassion.
No other Buddhist leader has banned or condemned any religion except for you. It looks very bad. You are a Nobel laureate and this is not fitting of a laureate. You should unite people and not separate them by religious differences.
You said Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi did not do right to the Rohingya people in Myanmar due to religious differences, but you are doing the same thing to the Shugden Buddhists within your own society. There is a parallel in this. You separate the Shugden Buddhists from the others in Tibetan society.
You have lost so many people who would have loved and supported you. You have lost so much support around the world. The Shugden Buddhists who love you number in the millions. When you are fast losing support from governments and private people, it will not do you well to lose more.
After you are passed away in the future, the rift you created between the Dorje Shugden and non-Dorje Shugden people will remain for a while and that will be your legacy. Disharmony. You will be remembered for this. Not as a hero but a disharmony creator.
Dorje Shugden will spread and further grow, but you will be no more as you are a human. No one wishes you bad and in fact we hope you have a long and healthy life, but we have lost so much hope and have so much despair because of you. All the hundreds of Dorje Shugden lamas, tulkus and geshes are maturing and there are hundreds of Dorje Shugden monasteries in Tibet who will not give up Dorje Shugden. You have made a mistake. These hundreds of teachers and teachers to be will spread Dorje Shugden further in the future.
The gurus that gave us Dorje Shugden as a spiritual practice and you have called these holy gurus wrong and they are mistaken in giving us Dorje Shugden. How can you insult our gurus whom we respect so much? If they can be wrong, then you can be wrong. Then all gurus can be wrong. So no one needs to listen to any guru? You have created this trend. It is not healthy. Your own gurus practiced Dorje Shugden their whole lives. Your own gurus were exemplary and highly learned.
Dalai Lama you have created so much pain with this ban against so many people due to religion. You are ageing fast. Are you going to do anything about it or stay stubborn, hard and un-moving. You show a smile and preach peace and harmony wherever you go. But will you do the same to your own people? Please rectify the wrong you have done. Please before it is too late. You can create harmony again or you can pass away in the future with this legacy of peace. May you live long and think carefully and admit what was a mistake in having this unethical ban against Dorje Shugden religion.

Why doesn’t the United States and its allies end Refugee Status for the useless Tibetans? They have been refugees for 60 years now and don’t tell me they still cannot get their lives back in order?
Tibetans really know how to put on a good show and use people, take their money and do nothing in return.

Supreme Court of India JUSTICE Mr. MARKANDEY KATJU (RETD) writes that Tibet is much better under the Chinese than it was under the lamas who only wanted to make the populace slaves. It was feudal and it will never return to the backwardness again.

While the government of Nepal has framed a policy to tighten the noose around non-governmental organisations, they have welcomed 30 Chinese NGOs to enter the country. These NGOs will penetrate the country’s social sector at the grassroots level. This is the first time such a large number of Chinese NGOs have entered Nepal at one time. Nepal is increasingly open to Chinese influence, a sign that ties between both countries are strengthening, while India’s influence is being reduced. The time has passed for India’s monopoly to remain uninterrupted in Nepal as opportunities to engage with China are being welcomed.

The cracks in Tibetan society are starting to show, and it is now coming to the attention of local Indians who have all but identified the Tibetan leadership as the source of the divisions. According to this author, disunity amongst the Tibetans is now creating problems for Indian law enforcement agencies, and this disunity may culminate in young Tibetans holding silent grudges against their host country. It is incredible that after six decades of generosity from India, Indians are now facing the very real possibility Tibetans can be ungrateful towards India. The Tibetan leadership totally failed to impart positive values upon their exiled community, like gratitude for those kindest to them and the need to repay these kindnesses with real, tangible results. It’s also very unlikely that the Tibetan leadership will now start to do this, after six decades of failing to do so. Indians need to realise this, and see that there is no benefit for their nation to align themselves with the Tibetan leadership, and there never will be.

Although the Dalai Lama has offered an apology, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) still expressed their disappointment over his controversial comment on Nehru, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC). Dalai Lama called Nehru self-centred.
The Congress said Dalai Lama being a foreigner should shun and refrain from interfering in the internal as well as external affairs of India.

Lobsang Sangay should know by now, it is not possible to have an independent Tibet. The best the Tibetans can get is the autonomous status. He should cease all the Free Tibet movement campaigns and start building a good relationship with China.
If Lobsang Sangay really wants to serve the Tibetans, he will work hard to bring the Tibetans back to Tibet. But instead of finding ways to negotiate and improve the relationship with China, Lobsang Sangay continues to condemn China for suppressing Tibetans in Tibet. What is exactly in his mind? Many countries cut their ties with the CTA because China can help them develop their economy, is it so hard for Lobsang Sangay to realise that?
In addition, Lobsang Sangay does not trust and respect the Dalai Lama. It is Dalai Lama’s wish that Tibet is to be part of China but given the autonomous status. Obviously, Lobsang Sangay wants an independent Tibet, why is he going against the Dalai Lama? The Dalai Lama is said to be the emanation of Chenrezig, he must have the clairvoyance to know an independent Tibet is impossible. Why doesn’t Lobsang Sangay believe the Dalai Lama? Dorje Shugden followers are not against the Dalai Lama but Lobsang Sangay is.

Every time when Lobsang Sangay travels to other countries, he gives very negative speech. He tells people how pitiful Tibetans are, he put the blame of his and his cronies’ failure on someone else. It is always other people’s fault.
The speech he gives when he visit other countries is not inspiring, it is always complaint after complaint. He always tells how bad China is and how Tibetans are suppressed. But what have he done to bring Tibetans out of that situation? By now he should know complaining cannot solve problems.
I just wish he could make himself useful if not to other country but at least Tibetans. Don’t add more negativity to this already very negative world. Do something to change, inspire others with hard work. Lobsang Sangay, please prove to us we are wrong about you!
